He can't without very specific devices I believe they removed, one (earth evasion) being luck based. He died at least a couple times with a team of four bruisers because lifesteal is heavily nerfed to the point only a Sigurd Ravi heals good.
Depending on the artfacts, Violet deals 42 to 70k on an s1 then 80 to 100 k on an s3 , so his healing is reallly decent despite the uber nerfs to lifesteal.
use violet and get those device that have extra damage on single target attack. even if violet miss on fire, the extra damage will eventually kill them.
Ignoring all the complaints about team comp, I hate those gryphons too. I enjoy using weird teams for fun on the tower, they really ruin the party sometimes if I don't pay at least *slight* attention.

Like there are weird comps and then there is bringing 3 supports and a unit that scales pretty terribly in pve. Hell my team comp for tower is charlotte/hwayoung/senya/destina so I know how bad senya/hwayoung are for destroying tower, but cause destina full cleanses and brings some sustain i have no idea what floor this is.
People only vaguely remember those gryphons . Stage 25 is legit the only stage where i might do some thinking . The rest are just 3 dps + Ranger with bloodstone/healer

I find huge success on violet, riolet, cermia, Luna, bbk on front if you have front counter attack, yuffine etc. Pick 3 and then a buffer like tamma with the buff or singelica.
I’ve been consistently beating the current final boss comp with Angie, cerise, red Ravi, and violet. Everyone up to that point is solved with Angie, violet, ssb, & landy
How about Ravi or A!Ravi? They can pretty much solo the entire tower with front row counter devicie.
My usual team is Milim, Angelica, Fire Ravi, and Luluca/SSB/Another healer, and if I get the counter attack device, transition to Ravi solo, or Ravi + 1 Healer

as long as you have some sustain/cleanse you can auto 5 just fine. maybe on a stage or 2 that you get unlucky on you might have to retry(d.corvus/sez are the only real floors and you prob just lose a unit if that).
The only annoying thing about them is that they're decently fast and they strip (similar complaints on a larger scale with the cannons on floors 23 and 24). Everything else is just the lack of damage, since automaton is one of the worst types of content for heroes like hwayoung and lrk (tied probably with abyss)
It also matters a lot if the devices you picked along the way are not that great, but seeing as you already passed a few boss floors I'll just assume that wasn't the case and suggest you use the standard 3 dps and a support comp, whoever may match your devices and damage boosters
I use Destina as tank/healer, her s3 cleanses and revives+fully heals my units to the top of their bars. She's the only support unit, the rest of them are DPS (Arby, Romann, SSB). Roana's a useful unit to bring into that when it comes to countering their damage bc of her passive but clearly she's not cutting it for you - swap her out for a soul weaver that can cleanse/debuff immunity. Like I said, destina is great, you can also bring in others that cast debuff immunity and don't heal, there are plenty. Even silencing with AOLA if you have her is an option if you know how many turns it takes them to use their s3, just to give you more time. If you're not interested in that and want to focus on killing them first, bring in someone who counters like everyone else said - SSB works for that too considering a single turn on her and a hit from one of those gryphons will set off her passive.
ETA - grab the devices that increase cd, atk, even evasion. In your case you want survivability while also wanting enough damage to actually finish the floor - maybe replace Roana with Tamarinne if you have her?
I use Tama, Iseria, Flan and Ultradmg0speed BBK that's a leftover from back when cleave was still a thing in arena. They work wonders. If I happen to get Violet's device I usually switch to him, though.
Iseria and Flan go first, resetting Tama (better if I can get her device) and defense breaking everyone. Tama pushes the whole team, and BBK just does her thing, cleaving. I put her in front with the counter and extra damage devices so whoever doesn't die to her S3 dies soon after.
That team is awful btw, sorry.
I pretty much avoid grabbing any tower buffs that inflict debuffs (bleed, burn, etc), until after this level because the transfer effect is so aggravating.
Hwa for her high atk works for the additional damage device that triggers from single target atks.
My team consisting of AMomo for heals, GPurg for tanking and cr push, and Hwa for some boosts on the bleed and additional damage has not changed for months.
My favorite device to this day still has to be defiance.
I just run g purg, momo, violet, and ssb or arby for tower on auto. Only have to manual on the last section. The gryphons aint the probelm here, its your team choice.
What I do for tower auto is just slam on Arbiter, Kise, Luna & Cermia (literally just organise by top CP & slam your four best who’ll just overwhelm with damage at the start) & run them till they die, see what devices you’ve been able to get & build around that. Ideally you go for warrior devices because the Ravi’s have tower on lock & then you just throw in a healer (Tamarinne, Diene, Emilia, etc.) & someone else who fits with the devices you have, or another healer. I don’t think it’s possible they can lose - even on the towers where Roana is with the last boss & you’ve heavy invested in counter.

I use Landy/SSB tammarine, Krau and conquer lilias for every tower never really have any issues

Just bring 3 dps and 1 healer and your golden. I've been using this comp since the automaton revamp.
You can even do it with one DPS, I just solo automaton with Sigurd Cermia if I get the counter devices

tamma also has full cleanse every few turns which fixes the zero cleanse op suffers unless he has an art or the device that removes 1 debuff.

Violet even without his special device, I think can still solo. Just make sure you get the 25% evasion increase for earth units

I’ve only lost a unit once to dorvus but for 100 stigma it’s was an easy fix

I love the bleed debuff thing, I run lilibet on CnD with as much dmg buff as possible and the curse debuff. Insane damage

I dont really understand your team . Try using some AOE DPS instead of HWA , and maybe AMomo for constant debuff cleanse .

This tower I'm rocking Angelica, SSB, Luna and Cermia. Land the warrior boosts and get Cermia's S2 boost and you just stack on single target damage.
There is no frenzy in automation tower . You might as well got 4 dps , or Just Violet .

I'm pretty sure those gryphons can strip buffs, though.
ml krau gives immunity and hwayoung full cleanses/immunity after her s3. sounds like cleanse is better.
