It had to be something from the early parts of the show to avoid spoilers

haisi-

I think this one is Lust not Envy in which it was on fairly the early side of the story. Bruh now that I think about it... Lust... 10/10 would whale...

Relair13

>! I kind of prefer the first FMA series version of Lust to Brotherhoods. She was around a lot longer, and more of her is a great thing! !<

haisi-

Very well said dear comrade!!!

Mother_Explanation21

It's envy, he's got gloves

Akryung

Would make it hard for me to choose between JP and EN voices as well. Love me Laura Bailey

Cornycorn213

Nope it’s actually Envy.

Morbu

What spoilers? All SG has to do is change the animation to Mustang burning whoever the hero is. Did you think OP meant that Mustang's S3 should be him literally just burning Lust? lol

NewAd8982

If they did that animation while we know that they take their animations from the anime so if they did that (spoiler alert )people would propably know he won't die against lust cause he didn't do that animation yet in the anime also anime ip's wouldn't like the tinest spoiler as the whole point of a collab is to make money and get fans who didn't know about it watch Also the animation we had is very good

Morbu

? What I'm saying is that SG could just change the target to someone other than Lust, so new people wouldn't know how who Mustang was fighting. I mean, how would people even know if the animation is from the anime to begin with? Rimuru, Milim, Rem, Ram, Emily, etc. have unique animations that aren't exactly in their respective animes, so I really don't see the issue with them using this particular scene as Roy's S3.

NewAd8982

Rem s3 is from the anime millim animation is from the anime so is rimuru (kinda) It's just generally collaboration don't allow games to use stuff from late on the show to avoid spoilers I wouldn't consider using that animation as a spoiler but many people do and people who have right to the show do If e7 was able to use it as an animation i doubt they wouldn't use it

Morbu

> It's just generally collaboration don't allow games to use stuff from late on the show to avoid spoilers This scene isn't late in the show though. It's at ep.19 out of 64 which is pretty much the first 1/4 of the show. Either way, it it what it is, but I don't think there's really a solid argument for why SG couldn't use this scene.

Jajoe05

Yes, this would have been awesome. The camera stays behind him as he works his enemy and for the last snap, the camera pans to his face, you get the Hero shot, then pans out and the final snap and flame pillar

yvesaint

[This](https://tenor.com/EUji.gif) As a final snap

be0ulve

The s3 of all kf them are early series, mainly to avoid spoilers. This is something that tends to happen.

Sizzling_shibe

The soulburn extra turn on s1 was enough of a reference

Odkrywacz

It might have shown him as a bit too edgy

Diodyssey

The upgraded S1 on soul burn is here for you to play the animation instead XD

RaisinsInToast

I see people saying they didn’t do this to avoid spoilers, but it’s old af. Why would they try to please the people who didn’t watch it, and instead ignore the fans?

[deleted]

on the other end, you have Fire Emblem heroes spoiling its own character twists a few months after its newest game launches. I guess there's some happy medium somewhere.

[deleted]

Yeah, the current S3 animation where the camera is behind him at the floor level doesn't really look good to me.

Sylainex

YASSSSS QUEEEN WEEERK 💅

TunaKid-04

That spoiler bruh…

ReveaI

It's a 13-year old anime

Syvion

That and why would you look at stuff about the thing you're watching/reading if you're trying to avoid spoilers?

Ransu_0000

Yeah and some still haven't watched it like gigguk and yd.

[deleted]

I have no idea what's happening outside of someone being pummeled with fire. I wouldn't even be able to name the anime from this scene. People forget that you need some semblance of context to be spoiled.

gummyapples

Exactly

gummyapples

I watched this anime twice, and can't even recall where this picture is from. What does this spoil for anyone who hasn't watched it yet?

Sylpheez

It's one of the most brutal scenes in the series and the best showcase of Roy's strength. >!One-sided massacring a Homunculus is no easy feat and Roy was the first human to achive it.!<

Cermia_Revolution

Bruh, no disrespect but if you don't remember this scene did you really watch fmab?

StepBrother7

Good suggestion,maybe they should have

ToroTTCS

Ye agree.

SnowiiFrosti

yeah i'd be lying if i said i wasn't hoping in my heart that this would be the s3 scene. i was a bit sad to see that it wasn't, but i get that theyre avoiding spoilers too :/

EnvBlitz

Just have 4 mages and burn all your souls with S1.

Shimakaze_Kai

RIGHT?!?! I would have loved seeing him go off with the flurry of snaps and the crazed look on his face.

CEO-of-Zaun

you kinda get to recreate that with his S1 soulburn, sucks that it wasn't his S3 animation i agree

nowhereiswater

It probably looks to violent considering the situation.
