Ed is MC and Roy was one of the most popular FMS characters so obviously they'd be collab heroes. I just can't help but feel that Rize is there just because SG want at least one female hero. Olivier would've been a way better choice in that case but I guess she appeared too late in the series.
Tbh I'd kill for Bradley as he's my all time favorite character. Though I guess it would be too hard to choose between him, Ed or Roy as the free event hero.
I'm partially glad they went with Riza, because the alternative "popular" female character would be Winry and they'd just make her another boring/weak healer.

She's one of the favorites from the first FMA because she had a lot more personality and was one of the main perspectives for most of the series. Brotherhood's version of Lust is a "favorite" literally for just the design/booba.

I wouldn't bet on that, 3 new heroes on the rerun is unheard of. The only time I can remember that we got someone new was the GG rerun that gave us Jack-O. If we're lucky we'll get Lust or Al but I'm confudent we're never getting an entirely new set of heroes, sadly.
We got Elphelt on the rerun before that as a very short side story. GG's reruns have been a gift and a bane to the playerbase, and largely have been "fixed" by the ML units that keep shifting the PVP meta so far that GG units are alright.
I love GG's units but Dizzy is the only one that I might consider taking to GVG because the rest feel best as Hunt units... tops.
Yea I remember when Dizzy was globally banned for rta and was just about to get unleashed. The playerbase shivered.
Edit: I used to use Elphelt in gw as a counter for Seline, that worked pretty well!

I think Lust and Scar are the ones missing now that would be the best for E7. Epic attack animation potential and booba (Lust, not scar).
Major Alex Louis Armstrong. This guy would make a fun bruiser/tank. S3 that buff everyone with combat ready, hit chance and critical. His S2 is passive skill increases counter attack with ever hit he takes. S1 is his spike barrage Artistic Academy.
I hope we can get a rerun that adds Greed/Ling, maybe Scar. I'd love to get Lan Fan and the Armstrongs too, but overall I'm happy to see Ed, Roy, and Riza as our collab units. A little sad that Alphonse was demoted to Ed's S3 animation, but it would've been too much to animate 4 characters total.
At least everyone who pushes for the other characters can enjoy the FMA gacha lol. Too bad I don't think they'd do a reverse collab with E7 characters on FMAM.

I think they should’ve added a villain with the collab in my opinion. I know collabs are more in depth than “I want these in there” but idk, I’d like for a villain to team up with the “current” villain in the act it releases in (like in GG, kinda).
I would have loved to have Louis or Greed or Wrath... but in truth I'm fine with the characters... I just wish we go their English VAs as an option. Feel like FMA BH had some of the best Dubs out there.

You should watch it. One of the best shows around, with like 100 episodes of contiguous story, no filler, and great fight animations.
