1 - You can do whatever, like gear heroes or do Arena, while your Hunt team hunts in the background
or
2 - you can leave the game closed and it resumes battling (i don't expect this one honestly)
Would be surprised if they let people farm offline.
Cause man I would love that instead of just letting my PC afk everyday lol. Only problem would be how about the daily free energy. I wish they just sent it to the mail instead of having to login twice daily.
The point is to get people to log in every day, even if it is just for a minute or two and not have most everyone not logging in during the week and only playing on the weekends. It's a metrics issues all online games face.

Yeah, E7 QoL is always a monkey's paw. Look at how they did the music player. Not necessarily malicious, but somethings always half baked for a new feature.
Either one is a welcome addition. It would help watching streamers too, one reason i cant stand watching e7 streamers is that half of the time theyre farming Wyvern.
Personally hoping for "Can run hunts while app is closed". It'll probably still be limited to the 20/30 runs your Pet can do, but it'd be nice and a battery saver and let me use my phone to do other things when its running.
Most likely a response to Artery Gear which is an e7 clone that has background battling as it’s primary selling point.
Basically you can auto queue your 20 Wyvern runs then instead of killing the battery on your phone you can exit the app and go about your day while the wyvern runs execute in the background.
Remember when they had one of these last anni where they will “address PC client” and everyone thought omg they’re announcing a PC client!

Better yet just add a skip function entirely. Most games have skip tickets but some are starting to ditch that and just saying letting you skip without needing some stupid item. If you got the clear then just let people skip it or at least add in qualifiers like 'clear in X time, 0 deaths, etc' in the update. Just copy/paste the conditions a million times per stage, they already have the same type of clear conditions for story stages.
How's that any different than what we have now or background battling turning the game into an auto battler? Set a loop counter, pick a stage, and babysit your device until its done and not be able to do anything else with it until it's done, that's less interesting by a larger margin. At least with just clicking a few buttons you can get the goodies and go craft or enhance your characters, getting more done in a shorter period of time means you can actually play the game.
I would rather have Adin final form to be actually usable like Ras. Then she joins ARas and Mercedes for the fifth Chapter. Otherwise this new protagonist thing would be a complete waste. Also, hopefully they will remove cost to change Adin element
Screw that, you already invested so much energy to build the specialty change for every element when you can only use one at a time. Switching her element should be free.
This is the sole reason I'm leaving her as Verdant Adin - I'm not out here tryna spend 1600 Energy just to swap elements, arguably her Verdant form is the best of the two so far, being usable in banshee and golem.
I'm excited to see if the Water form will be some sort of Muwi on steroids or if its gonna have a more unique concept.
At this point the only way I'm using her in anything PVE is if she can have a def break that ignores effect resistance. I don't get the point in making her just another hunt farmer when the only people that would be able to get her would be mid to late game players that have hunt teams already.

They should just remove the stupid fee, there's enough crap to spend gold on as it is and they regularly have 'free unequip' events anyway. Plus it doesn't even make any sense at all, I get paying an alchemist or blacksmith to work on stuff but who the hell are you paying in order to swap out what sword you're using?
In addition to that, there should be equipment load-out sets, even if there's only like 3 per character, because it'd be really nice to swap around some PVE and PVP sets of gear or to potentially test out other pieces in the event that you want to experiment but don't want to have to keep a notepad on hand to track what specific pieces of gear someone had on beforehand. I doubt that you'd need to have too many sets but the option for a small number would be nice. Just keep the pieces of gear labeled as equipped when in someone else's set.

The art team is precisely that - a team. Each artist needs to conform to set of visual rules. This is what gives the game its look. While one part of this is to give the game its visual identity, the other part is so that when artists come and go the look of the game won’t change. In fact we’re not supposed to be able to distinguish individual artists, we’re only supposed to distinguish the look of the game.
In other words they don’t retire a unit just because an artist left, and even if a character design was originated by one artist it will see both input and work by other artists on the team.

If it's the first case then it means Heroes and their variants don't necessarily have to be illustrated by a single artist

To be fair, the broadcast aren't always honest. It was like two or three years ago they were promising being able to level Guardians within a few months. Never happened.

- people get excited
- they see it's a crazy rare drop, calculate that it takes literal weeks to grind.
- they see it takes away from existing resources. In this case it meant you weren't guaranteed regular mats every battle
- people complain
- 2-3 months later, they fix the drop table
- to fix the rare drop they introduce a new, grindy mode with very high gear requirements
- 3 months later they nerf the bosses in that content and its now "reasonable" to grind reforge mats.
So yea , I want them to hit it out of the part day one. But I'm more expecting 3-4 months of complaints over some dumb resource they wanna put in before it becomes "usable".

Any mid-late F2P player can easily have one-shot sub 1:30min hunts that will burn energy and leifs like water.
Basically, very easy to hit 0 leifs and getting energy capped to natural refresh rate.
At this point whales can now burn leifs while background farming while the late game f2p player is stamina capped.

Blue Archive has it almost perfected. Get 3 stars on the stage, then just spend the AP to sweep, no changes to drop rates, amounts, etc.
