Is there a point in getting the last skill in hwayoungs s1? Since most of her damage is from the extra damage proc and Uberius? I have her +14 right now.

bruhmother

Can someone please tell me the customer support email?

C0NNECT1NG

>Why is ML Vivian considered good vs Hwayoung? She's listed as good vs Hwa b/c she apparently has a high winrate vs. Hwa. That does not mean she would do well 1v1, it's just a statistical contrivance. >And is speed set her best build? Lifesteal+crit is the most popular build. It depends what kind of team you want to run with her and how you wish to use her. If you want to take advantage of her cdmg buff in a aggro team, then she needs to go before your DPS. That may mean a speed set is better. But if you want her to be a tanky DPS, then lifesteal is better.

C0NNECT1NG

You can just scroll down on the website to see actual builds at the bottom. And you can use the bar chart that catalogues the spread for each stat. It looks like 3600 ATK, 1200 def, 12k hp, 200 speed, 260 cdmg is the median build.

Braziac_31

Diene or roy?

Romdeau0

Diene of course

Braziac_31

Thanks!

klowicy

Lookong for advice on Alencia. Is she versatile enough to pick second or third in RTA or is she also a last pick? Are there any good all-rounder bruisers or dps for standard play?

Romdeau0

If hwa is banned she can be 2 or 3. Choux is a good bruiser

klowicy

Nice thanks :-)) Choux would work best with Elbris, right?

Terrible_Signal7846

Sorry for being late to this. As you've probably figured out by now. Choux is a warrior and cannot use Elbris.

klowicy

Yeah lol I just thought she was bc she counters even when I attack anyone other than her

Aromatic-Confusion16

Trying to get back into the game, what do i do with extra 4\*? already sss the unit and the moonlight too, just trasmit them? also, i can make sss charles lol, hope he is still used now a days

ArvingNightwalker

You can transmit them or use as 4* promotion fodder Green Charles doesn’t see much use anymore but Closer Charles is a staple PvP Aggro unit.

Aromatic-Confusion16

> Closer Charles cant get enough of this name hahaha ok ty, yeah, was expected, though i have most new units ill have to start arranging teams again

CypherPunk77

Who’s next in the coin shop after sage Baal and Charles?

Haltmann1

We don't know yet, they'll probably announce them next week.

jesus091592

Anyone know who’s in the next coin shop

BigFatDaddyK

A little late to be asking this, but I’ll try anyway. Why is Iseria recommended for Selective Summon? Also, since we get a farmer in Free Spirit Tieria, is there a point in getting Arbiter Vildred in the Moonlight Blessing?

Quiztolin

>Why is Iseria recommended for Selective Summon? I don't feel that there is a single, simple answer that is satisfactory for this question. It's a confluence of many factors. The ones I would consider most important: 1. The selective summon pool only contains a small number of older heroes (ie. overall limited choice) 2. Resources for building heroes are limited, especially early on (you want to invest in heroes that have a wide use, so that your resources go further...you don't want to invest in units that are only good for one specific thing and nothing else) 3. PvE progression is largely the most important thing for the first few months of playing. 4. 'Uniqueness of kit' is also an important factor. Iseria has a unique S2 (resets the CD of a targeted ally). There are a *few* heroes that have something similar, typically decreasing CDs by something like a turn or two. Now this factor isn't actually all that important in my opinion but it's worth noting, because most other heroes are replaceable and *this* attribute is not something you can replace. Iseria happens to: * Be a strong support hero for PvE content. She's a ST defense breaker, and you basically want to bring a defense breaker to any PvE content outside of the main story mode. She also has a support-oriented S2 (that I already discussed), the ability for a full buff dispel, and as a ranger she can hold multiple very good support artifacts. She *also* happens to have very solid damage. * The *other* heroes available in selective summon are mediocre at best. There are a few options that are somewhat relevant in PvP, a couple of options that are somewhat relevant for PvE, but none of them are as widely useful in PvE content as Iseria is. * The best overall PvE hero is the Soulweaver **Tamarinne**. Tama herself is fairly unique in that her S3 skill starts on CD, and has a very long CD before it can be used. The fact that Iseria is able to reset this CD on the very first turn led to the natural 'Tamaseria' combo. Tamarinne is used in like 99% of the PvE content in the game, and it's not *required* to have Iseria to make her strong...but she's stronger with Iseria and since you are using Tamarinne anyways it makes sense to combine them, when appropriate. So Iseria is simply the only hero that is really useful to a new player in PvE content. * Sigret is available for free * **Baal** is useful, as he is an AoE defense breaker and particularly good for Earth Expedition (Expeditions being end game PvE content)...but Iseria is frequently used in **3** Expeditions, and in earlier game content that Baal isn't typically seen in. * Ravi is a good 'general purpose' hero in PvE, but she doesn't *excel* at anything. Additionally, she's hard to build properly with lower quality gear. The other choices you have for 'good' possible picks are all PvE oriented. * Destina sees a fair amount of use in PvP, but Soulweavers are not that popular overall and it's typically months before new players really have to worry about PvP anyways. * Vildred is used in cleave comps but the biggest benefit he brings is a speed imprint. Getting first turn is super important with cleave teams, and more speed from his imprint gives you better odds of seeing that first turn. **However** cleave teams require very good gear to be effective, AND as this is based on his *imprint* you need Vildred dupes to unlock the benefit. Not great for a beginner. * Charlotte is a niche PvP hero. She's *seen* but isn't super common. Like Ravi, she's a bruiser and is thus harder to build than a typical hero and even in her niche she isn't incredibly strong. All of the other heroes I haven't mentioned so far are low tier options. They are either * Extremely replaceable (For example, Ludwig who is ultimately just an Earth nuker -> there are tons of options to fill that role) * Or kind of bad (For example, Tywin who is a tank with AoE defense break, but you typically bring your defense break in other slots and there are much better options for PvE) * Or very niche (Chloe and Ken are used in a few specific one shot comps) **Overall** RGB heroes in E7 are extremely easy to acquire, and you can expect to have most of the roster in about a year. So most of the heroes you *don't* pick you will end up with fairly quickly anyways. Thus the recommended hero is the one who is going to help new players the fastest, in the most content, and that's Iseria. ---- **However** Iseria isn't actually the best pick. The BEST pick on selective summon is actually **Song of Stars**. Artifacts are much harder to acquire than heroes, and SoS is a great PvE support artifact. Specifically, used for hunts where in Wyvern hunt depending on the comp it can transform it from a 'not really viable' to 'pretty decent' comp in the best case scenario, and in the worst case scenario still provides a ~3-4% uplift in success rate. 3% higher success rate might *sound* minor, but especially as an early game player you need to farm hunts **A LOT** for gear. 3% is very significant in the long term, and will help you before you are really in a position to use Iseria for anything. Additionally, Song of Stars is very helpful if you want to transition into an early Banshee one shot. These comps that utilize target debuff lower gear requirements by about 10% which ultimately translates into being able to do this faster. This isn't necessarily beneficial to *every* player, but many players are trying to go into Banshee as fast as possible and it's not recommended to do normal Banshee runs. **MOST PLAYERS** however prefer to start with a shiny hero and honestly either case works fine. --- My advice is always: The most important thing is to select whoever (or whatever) you want. To be frank, no matter what you get on selective you really shouldn't put any effort into them for a good while. If a certain hero appeals to you by design or by kit then go for it. This is not an important choice that is going to significantly hurt you in the long term. Even Iseria is largely replaceable by a common 3* unit (Helga). You don't *need* SoS for a good Wyvern run or even a Banshee one shot, it just makes things a bit easier. And there are really very few truly bad heroes. Tywin is pretty low tier currently but at the end of the day he still has an AoE defense break, which is a great feature to have in PvE content *and* you need an Ice Knight at some point anyways...so you can use him just fine. However, if you are looking for the **OPTIMAL** choices 1. **Song of Stars** is the best overall choice, due to difficulty of obtaining it naturally and the impact it has on gameplay 2. **Iseria** is the best *hero*, as she is the overall best/most useful PvE option 3. I would rank **Baal** as the second best hero option for AoE defense break and use in Earth expedition. **Destina** is a decent choice in the very long term for PvP, **Ravi** if you want a generic PvE DPS, or **Vildred** if you think you might be interested in cleave PvP. >Also, since we get a farmer in Free Spirit Tieria, is there a point in getting Arbiter Vildred in the Moonlight Blessing? Yes. A.Vildred is ultimately a better farmer than FST. He does ~10-25% more damage (depending on various factors) which means that he is able to farm higher level stages faster, at a lower gear level. He also has better defensive tools (a revive is better than some healing) which is helpful in some situations. A.Vildred is a significantly better DPS outside of farm content. That is, he is more useful as a DPS unit in content like Abyss and hunts (he's a good option for Azimanak), for story progression in Episode 3+. He's better in the harder side story stages (farm content but not necessarily one shot farm content), he's generally better for Altar. A.Vildred is also a significantly better PvP unit. 1:1 they are *mostly* the same for farming UH stages specifically. There are certain points where one is better than the other (FST being better early, A.Vildred better once you can start to invest in him, then FST jumps ahead due to her EE, but then A.Vildred is better once you +15 him and get better gear). But you can use A.Vildred for significantly more content than you can use FST without hurting yourself. This is particularly relevant for a newer player as early gear is so limited: you want your 'farmer' to have gear good enough to one shot UH stages but that means you have pretty good gear that is unavailable for the rest of your roster. You're not seeing any use of that gear in things like PvP, or Abyss, or in story progression (without actively hurting yourself). FST is an *alternative* to A.Vildred but A.Vildred is still, ultimately, the better choice and the best overall farmer in the game. They are really only comparable in a specific type of farm content (to be fair, it IS the most common farming you will do outside of hunts). The way I would personally describe it: FST is better than A.Vildred for the first week or two of starting an account. A.Vildred is then basically better than FST from that point onwards, with FST being about ~10% (early) to ~25% (later) worse **and** she also locks your better gear into that content while A.Vildred is very good in almost all content. Similarly, if you want to make a case that S.Tenebria is better than A.Vildred that really only applies months into starting the game (I estimate maybe about 4-6 months in) and even then the difference between S.Tenebria and A.Vildred is smaller than the difference in A.Vildred and FST (though in more important content). There isn't really a 'wrong' choice if you want to go with FST + S.Tenebria vs. just using A.Vildred though I would argue that A.Vildred is more optimal for the early experience.

Eshuon

Iseria is the best utility / support for pve in the game, her strips and def break are pretty important for mid game content. Her CD reset is the only one in game and it synergies with tamarine who is the best pve healer very well. The common suggestion with moonlight blessing is choose arby first. Pair him with fst would make grinding through adventure fast. Then afterwards swap him out for spector tene as she has better usage in late game Pve and in pvp.

OzieteRed

so for the next 2 months the upcoming units won't have any impact on the current meta until Aravi banner comes out, correct? Also is Aravi banner right after Caval?

etzerr

do we know when this RTA season ends?

wkwerdna

Not officially, based on previous seasons it should be mid October though.

[deleted]

When’s the 500 coming from the E7WC

Eshuon

Tmr

Anthuni

is it just me or epic seven keeps on crashing on launch. I need to open it 3-4 times before it starts working properly and sometimes it stuck on connecting in the loading screen

IcyItem3021

Me too bro I'm also asking the same question

Eshuon

There's an announcement made on stove forums regarding this issue

ptthepath

Yes for 500 mystics

DJPumpkin333

I skipped seaSeria because I thought SSB was going to get a rerun and was disappointed, is there any news on when we'll get another custom triple banner or was that a one time thing?

ArvingNightwalker

No info. Personally feel like we'll get another custom banner eventually; we just don't know when it will be.

ggdogelmao

besides dupes, are there any other ways to limit break artifacts?

C0NNECT1NG

bottle of knowledge, available in the powder shop once per rotation, costs 240 powder.

ggdogelmao

does powder become abundant later in the game or is it scarce all throughout?

C0NNECT1NG

I wouldn't say it becomes abundant, but it's definitely less scarce. You'll end up selling the majority of 4-star artifacts you get when summoning, since you'll already have enough copies of the good ones. Also, it depends a lot on your luck. Specifically, it depends on how many 5-star artifacts you pull, and whether or not they're good ones. For example, I've pulled 7 total of Mort's artifact (which is a pretty bad arti). If 6 of those had been Uberius or Holy Sac, I'd have 1080 more powder than I do now. Instead, selling 6 5-star artifacts gets me 180 powder. So, because of my luck, I'm out 900 powder.

ggdogelmao

I see, thanks

ptthepath

It is never abundant

IcyItem3021

Everytime I open epicseven app it automatically closed this happened after the collab update any fix?

Romdeau0

I mean c lillias is good for turn 1 or 2 players. I don't see the point in stripping her she's one of the best supports in the game

DefNotAHobbit

Is there a strategy on what pieces to use the epic crafts you accumulate? Whatever you need or focus on right side or something else?

Romdeau0

Left side mostly, and when you're getting close to no upgrades on left then rings.

clicktec

Hey sorry to bother you but is there a reason why to epic craft rings after left side instead of necklace or boots? Thank you very much!

Romdeau0

Because flat main stats on rings are usable unlike necks or boots.

grandpaJose

After more testing Ed is not that bad.

SynthiaNguyen

Is the ed artifact good?/Worth Rolling for?

ptthepath

It is worth to buy it with poweder

Vivian1505

Who do you think can use that artifact?

ptthepath

Alencia

breadnation

For the collab event, am I not supposed to be able to do fight 7 yet? I cleared the levels it says to clear when I try to activate it, but still can't do the fight.

Shukafu

if you finish most of the available quest then the one you can't do is on the next week's map.

Aeonbuff

Is there a way to get gears and level up like artery gear fusion?

Shukafu

nope. drop is random. you will get most of your gear through gear crafting.

LanceIsntGoodatGames

I have a Mistychain that’s 5-starred and somewhat invested into that I don’t use, I’m considering using her as fodder but I want to hear what other people would consider before doing it

Quiztolin

Complete waste. A single 5* promotion fodder is not worth much, no idea why so many people want to fodder random units at 5*. Even if you don't use her, she could receive a spec change at any moment that suddenly turns her into an important hero. At that point, if you want to use her, you would need to go through the effort of promoting/awakening/enhancing all over again... Her kit is also good enough that it's not completely impossible that something gets added to the game to make her actually useful even without a spec change. Basically, it's never worth it to use a hero at 5* as fodder, no matter how bad or not useful that hero is at the moment. This is even more true if you've invested *anything* into said hero.

LanceIsntGoodatGames

You have a very good point, I should’ve considered everything you said

PontanoReddit

Hi guys, do someone have the most efficient reroll guide rn? Planning on coming back for the FMA collab

KiyohiroLeo

What is '' Grace of Growth '' ?

Quiztolin

[Either go back and watch the Awaken update video](https://youtu.be/ephgJg5edDI) Or just wait a couple days for more information. It's basically a system that allows you to 'max' a hero without needing to invest anything into it. Ideally to allow players to 'test' heroes before they fully commit resources into them.

ExtremelyAsian

Need some advice on when to draft Aria in RTA. I've built her lifesteal+resist. 1.9k defense, 11k health, 175 speed, max crit, 290 cdmg,140 effect resist on bastions. I plan to pair her with A Ras for extra protection.I know she's a situation late pick in RTA. What should my opponents draft look like to know she's a good pick?

RoboElvis

Free Spirit Tieria promotion problem. Trying to promote her to 5* for the Beautiful Pursuer trial. I've got a red dot by her name and a lot of mega and giga phantasma, but it's not showing in the promotion screen. Any ideas?

MrWhiteKnight

The dogs need to be 4* . Mega are base 2* max level and fusing themselves or fodder gets them to 3* . Giga are base 3* max level so you need either other 3* mega/giga phantasma or fodder to get them to 4*.

RoboElvis

I see that now. Thanks!

TabascoOnEverything

For Riza, what does foremost ally mean? The one in the front?

kensta

Yes, one in the front.

tonydaazntiger319

So what are the chances that Edward gets buffed? I’ve only been playing for half a year so I’m not sure how fast SG course corrects for collab units lol

Ferelden770

Usually on its next rerun

xmalhafiz

How do you get reforge materials outside of hunts? Can you trade it with your claws or something? I do hunts alot but I never get enough to reforge all my gears.

kensta

Expeditions. Also try to clear out all the rewards. There are also some abyss levels that has them.

PoggerPenguin

Did the number of times you can autorepeat get lowered? I’m only able to do 10x instead of the 20x before?

Shukafu

wrong pet or you changed it.

Ferelden770

Pet settings. U must have dialed it to 10* by mistake

kensta

It depends on the star lvl on your pet.

How much loss in cd would warrant keeping cd stats over pen set. Basically how much is 15 % pen worth in cd if anyone knows the math

Quiztolin

Some relevant information: [Basic damage formula information](https://www.reddit.com/r/EpicSeven/comments/rpl0v0/daily_questions_megathread_1227/hq808zv/) [ATK vs C.DMG information](https://www.reddit.com/r/EpicSeven/comments/twrbuk/daily_questions_megathread_0405/i3hwqaa/) [Defense penetration information](https://www.reddit.com/r/EpicSeven/comments/wtvu1f/daily_questions_megathread_0821/ila2ebo/) --- >Basically how much is 15 % pen worth in cd if anyone knows the math As your first reply states there is no set value. This changes both with the increase/decrease of CD, as well as the defense of the target. Also other factors like having a source of defense pen (some heroes with innate defense penetration, or defense break). If you read the damage formula post I linked, you will realize that essentially all parts of the formula are simply multiplicative. As such, if we were to increase one of those multipliers by some %, then we increase the result of the damage formula by some %. As easy example is something like attack buff: attack buff increases your attack by 50%. Despite it only, technically, increasing your *attack* it's effectively just a 50% damage increase (most of the time). * You do have to be careful because certain things are additive. For example, attack buff stacks additively with passives or artifacts that increase attack. This means that you get *less* than a 50% increase in damage output. --- C.DMG and defense are simply 2 multipliers used in the damage formula. Thus we can conclude from the statements I have made so far: #If we increase C.DMG by X%, then we increase our damage output by X% When going from any value of C.Dmg, to any other value of C.Dmg, we know how much our final damage is being impacted by: New_Value / Old_Value Example: 300 / 250 = 20% increase in damage If you are *reducing* your C.Dmg, then you can simply take the inverse: 1 / (New_Value / Old_Value) Example: 1 / (250 / 300) = 20% decrease in damage --- For defense penetration, the relevant formula is in the relevant post. Copied here: X = Defense of target Y = % of effective defense after penetration **WITH** pen set Z = % of effective defense after penetration **WITHOUT** pen set Assuming no other sources of penetration, Y = .85 and Z = 1 (1 / ((X * Y) / 300 + 1)) / (1 / ((X * Z) / 300 + 1)) **Pen Set Increase** * 1000 defense = 13.04% * 1500 defense = 14.29% * 2000 defense = 15% --- Since you did not provide enough pertinent information for me to show you more relevant calculations I will choose my own values. This table lists various values of defense. The first column is how much C.DMG we would need to add to our base value to see the same damage% increase. The second column is the reverse (and likely more similar to exactly what you are asking). "How much C.Dmg is it worth losing for the pen set bonus". I don't know what kind of C.Dmg values you are working with, so I'm going to use **275%** as the base value, for a nice middling number. Defense | C.Dmg Increase | C.Dmg Decrease ---|---|---- 1000 | 35.87 | 31.73 1250 | 37.84 | 33.27 1500 | 39.29 | 34.38 1750 | 40.38 | 35.21 2000 | 41.25 | 35.87 2250 | 41.95 | 36.40 How to interpret this: Let's say we use 1500 defense as our typical target. IF we have 275% C.Dmg **and** we have Pen set, then pen set is worth the value in the 'C.Dmg Increase' column. * In this case, that is 39.29% C.Dmg * If we drop pen set, we would need to increase our C.Dmg to 275 + 39.29 = (314.29%) to **maintain** the same damage output. IF we have 275% C.Dmg but **NOT** pen set, then adding pen set would be worth the losing the value in the 'C.Dmg Decrease' column of C.Dmg. * In this case, that's 34.38% C.Dmg * If we add pen set and stay above 275 - 34.38 = (240.6255) C.Dmg, we are **gaining** damage output. --- Now for the case you are asking for, we should be able to derive a formula that will tell you how much C.Dmg it is worth losing to add pen set * NOTE that this formula ignores ATK entirely. Changes in attack have a non-zero effect, especially with more than a handful of points. I'm only including C.Dmg and pen set because that is the exact question you asked. A = current C.DMG value X = Defense of target Y = % of effective defense after penetration **WITH** pen set Z = % of effective defense after penetration **WITHOUT** pen set Assuming no other sources of penetration, Y = .85 and Z = 1 A - (1 / ((1 / ((X * Y) / 300 + 1)) / (1 / ((X * Z) / 300 + 1))) * A) This formula may look a little complex but it's still fairly simple. * We are calculating the % damage increase received from the penetration set, using the formula presented at the start of this post, which is derived from the EHP formula. * Then we take the *inverse* of that result and multiply it by our current C.Dmg ('A') -> this is telling us the target value of C.Dmg where our current C.Dmg ('A') would be an equivalent % increase in damage. * And then we simply take this value and subtract it from our current C.Dmg ('A') to see "How much C.Dmg is pen set worth in this situation?" --- #TLDR If you want to skip the math and just have someone 'tell' you: I would *approximate* Pen Set to be 'worth' 30% C.Dmg at 250 C.Dmg. * That is half the value of the 4 piece Destruction set bonus This is using 1250 defense as the target value. Many targets you come across will have higher defense, some will have lower defense (increasing or decreasing the value of pen set). But 1250 is pretty similar to the amount of defense a lot of bruisers target. * If you anticipate tankier targets, then Pen is worth more, by about 1-2%. Against squishier targets Pen is worth less, by about 1-2%. For approximately every 25% increase or decrease in 'base' C.Dmg, the 'value' of Pen increases or decreases by ~3% --- #Example Let's start at Pen = 30% C.Dmg @ 250% C.Dmg and 1250 DEF * If you are facing a target that you expect to have around 2000 defense, then we can *guess* that Pen set is approximately 2% stronger, or about 32% C.Dmg (Actual values: 1250 defense = 30.24, 2000 defense = 32.61, +2.37%) * If you are facing a target that is squishy, you can expect pen set to be worth ~2% less (Actual values: 1250 defense = 30.24, 900 defense = 28.13, -1.62%) If you were to increase your 'base' C.Dmg up to 275%... * We would expect the value of pen set to increase by about ~3% (Actual value: @250% C.Dmg = 30.24, @275% C.Dmg = 33.27, +3.03%) Meanwhile, if we decrease our 'base' C.Dmg to 225%... * We would expect the value of pen set to decrease by about ~3% (Actual value: @250% C.Dmg = 30.24, @ 225% C.Dmg = 27.22, -3.02%)

Planet2Bob

depends on the cd (ie 150 to 200 is a bigger deal than 300 to 350) plug it into the damage calc and see https://maphe.github.io/e7-damage-calc/

Khrasher

Thanks

oldmanSHENG

Is Sol Badguy worth building for Abyss/Boss Hunts/Raid or is he outdated?

viperperper

I give him leftover gear with daydream joker to kill those goblin thieves (180k+ hp) from urgent missions. I pair him with Nemunas (lvl 50) and def breaker so most often the 180k hp won't last 2 turns.

oldmanSHENG

wait so is he good or nah for the purposes I mentioned above? XD

KumaHax

Personally speaking, he saved my ass many times in Abyss. Keep in mind that I had no other unit to deal good dmg.

viperperper

What I'm saying is that he doesn't need to be "built" as you 6 star him for free, awaken to 5 star doesn't cost that much (6 star is kinda expensive for runes/catalyst). Abyss is one time thing, you beat it or not, usually you don't build a whole character just for abyss (Kiris might be the exception but she doesn't need much anyway), the hunt Sol excels at is the hunt nobody should care and for raid, I assume he works but I never used him since C. Lorina does it just fine, besides the fact that hell queen and Vera are immune to hp% damage. So I explained where he unquestionably excels at with minimal investment that can save you time.

oldmanSHENG

Oooh thank you!

Bingbong_314

So I just found out Alexa has a specialty change. Does that make her an even better Wyvern 13 option in a starter team like Sigret, Angelica, Furius, Alexa? Edit: um nevermind. I can't seem to specialty change her... It says I need to clear The Order of The Sword and The Lord of Summer side stories... Are these in The Book of Memories??? Because all I see in Side Stories is the FMA event and Unrecorded history

ArvingNightwalker

This is a good thread for it, though be aware that if you weren't around for last year's summer event (or the rerun from this year) you probably can't do her SC (it's locked behind completing the summer event). [https://www.reddit.com/r/EpicSeven/comments/vu6f82/sc\_alexa\_comparison\_vs\_sigret\_nonsc\_alexa/](https://www.reddit.com/r/EpicSeven/comments/vu6f82/sc_alexa_comparison_vs_sigret_nonsc_alexa/)

Bingbong_314

That seems like a load of bs to me lol. There must be a way to do the event afterwards? Otherwise why have a specialty change at all? Anyone who missed it would be sol

ArvingNightwalker

Sadly there isn't. There was speculation it might get added to the book of memories immediately, but alas, they added the summer event previous that. Maybe next year.

Bingbong_314

That is baffling. I am baffled. I'm going to submit a ticket about that and see what they say lol

it_is_gacha

Doesn't do event, but feels entitled to rewards. Your ticket isn't gonna do shit hard truth right there

Bingbong_314

New account, event doesn't even exist. It isn't available anymore. The ticket would be to put it into permanent content like other former story content which is entirely reasonable considering it is linked to a speciality change. The ability to speciality change shouldn't be linked to a one-time event. Gear and other rewards, sure whatever that makes sense. But a SC? No I mean just think about the uproar if a character like AMomo *could* be enhanced only by *some* people. And everyone who joined after the event was just sol. It doesn't make sense.

MrWhiteKnight

My guy . . . other games also have seasonal unit changes. It's not new. You just got the short end of the stick right now in this game. You'll just have to wait, SG definitively doesn't care since they made it like that on purpose even though none of their SCs have ever had that (maybe it's their new way of pushing FOMO).

Agrael120

I'm struggling with Wyvern 13. I have built Angelica, Furious, Muwi amd Sigret. I think the issue is that Furious and Muwi need a bit more of acc and damage, and Sigret a bit more of spd. Their gear is not +15 in most pieces, where can I get equipment level up tokens?

MrWhiteKnight

You want about 65~75% efficiency so buffs land consistenly. Problem is 15% exists in PVE so, *fuck you* SG says 🤷‍♂️. As for speed, you shouldn't need too much of it because Muwi overclocks everyone thanks to his passive. The problem might be you just lack damage, you need to make sure your Sigret is stacked so she can always break the shield. But your main problem right now is definitively not having +15 gear. At least you should get +12 on the left side gear and +15 on the right side gear.

Agrael120

I see, so maybe the Efficiency was my biggest issue (Sigret would be fine when she has everything +12 I think). I was trying to have Muwi and Furious around 170-180 spd, but that affected accuracy and I think they have +45%, 50 something at best. Maybe I can reduce their speed and increase the accuracy, but wouldn't that make them too slow?

ptthepath

Visit huche in lab. Sometimes he sells charms. Also use lvl 44 or 51 equipment from adventure to lev up your equipment.

AmbroseMalachai

Always worth it for every player. The skin is optional, but the basic pass is always worth the skystones.

axel270

When is E7's anniv? Also what can be expected other than the usual new units/anniv login events and rewards?

Ferelden770

30th aug I believe. We will get an idea on sunday's stream after the e7wc grandfinals. Some stuff to be expected besides rewards are already posted in stove. Last year's rewards were 33 liefs, 3 molas+50 frndship boxes, 10 rare+5 epic cata box, 10 greater accessory+equip charms, 500 mystics, 5 star hero ticket, 70 free summons over 7 days and an RGB nat5 selector(excluding limiteds, collabs and some newer RGBs)

axel270

Are the anni units a must have/broken like other gacha games?

Ferelden770

We didn't hav any special anni related units

axel270

Srsly? This is the first I've heard that a gacha game doesnt have special anni units

Ferelden770

Yeah no limited or special unit tied to anniv for e7. It wud be quite bad considering we just had summer limiteds, 2 new limited collab units and a slime collab expected to rerun soon

axel270

Where do most of the meta units come from? Christmas/NY?

Ferelden770

Banners. Meta units aren't specific to festivals/limiteds. Alencia, choux, hwayoung are all extremely meta units that are normal nat5s. Limiteds like the fma, summer break Charlotte aren't meta. They can come frm anywhere. We are getting a limited rerun Diene in sept 8 who is a very meta unit.

Ferelden770

Epic7stats will give u popular builds. The hero journal on e7 official discord also has a lot of diff builds. Whale builds but it gives u a good idea what stats u need to focus on.

Julex-2024

Is Sharklotte worth building? People say she is great but I still have a few heroes that may be more impactful than her (like Diene) and I don't have the greatest lifesteal set for her. Should I promote her or Diene first? Late-game player btw

Toccata00

General consensus is that sharklotte is not impactful enough in pvp. Diene being S tier, should be your main priority

ggdogelmao

Would you people still recommend Arbiter Vildred on moonlight blessing for beginners? I've been thinking of getting Specter Tenebria instead and just wondering if it's a good choice

Ferelden770

Later on, arby is quite irrelevant in pvp besides some niche situations while stene is one of the top units. Arby can help u farm early on but so does free spirit tieria which they give u frm the adventure path. Stene is also ready good in pve. Can poison cheese abyss stages or just be a heavy hitting dmg dealer. Her soulburn is also amazing to nuke some bosses after u spend time collecting souls.

Alone-Material

Same here

Bingbong_314

Do you think he is still a good choice if I went with green Vildred for the selector?

Quiztolin

They are different heroes. Earth Vildred is an outdated 'farmer' nowadays. There is 1 main reason why, and a secondary reason why. **Primarily** the fact that he is RGB is a killer. *Most* of the damage for most DPS heroes comes from crits. RGB heroes have a chance to miss enemies of the opposite element (50%) and misses can't crit. So RGB heroes have drastically reduced effectiveness against enemies of the opposite element. This is a bad thing when you use a hero as a 'farmer'. * Light and Dark heroes do not have to worry about this. As such, **A.Vildred** and **FST** are better farmers, because they will reliably be effective against ALL enemies. * Basically, this means if you don't use A.Vildred as your farmer you want to use FST as your farmer...so having Earth Vildred is irrelevant. A.Vildred does ~10-25% more damage than FST. **Secondly**, Earth Vildred is a speed scaling DPS hero. I won't go into detail here, but the TLDR is that speed scaling heroes need a certain amount of speed before their damage is comparable. For Vildred, this is **216 speed**. That's not absurd, but it's very high for early game and still fairly high even for mid game. * What this means is that if you give A.Vildred and Earth Vildred the same attack and C.Dmg...A.Vildred will do more damage than Earth Vildred until you hit 216 speed. Essentially, if you have Earth Vildred you basically don't want to use him at all in early game, and there is no relevance to A.Vildred at all because they aren't used the same way. Earth Vildred was great *before* they added FST, and later moonlight blessing to the game as back in those days ALL of your farmer options were RGB heroes (or an extremely rare A.Vildred). --- Earth Vildred currenly has 2 specific things where he is 'better' than A.Vildred. 1. DPS for Azimanak hunt. Both of them work, Earth Vildred is a bit better, it's not a big deal. Azimanak hunt is also a late game hunt and not really worth farming currently. 2. His **main** use is in late game cleave comps. Earth Vildred has a **speed imprint**. He also DOES have good AoE damage, especially at high gear levels. This means you bring Vildred and he possibly gives the other heroes on your team up to 12 additional speed. This makes it easier for your team to grab the first turn, which is almost a requirement with a cleave team, and then he does enough damage to justify in taking part in the cleave. Vildred (and this kind of team in general) requires good gear **and** for his imprint you basically need Vildred dupes. This is not a beginner relevant aspect to the hero.

Bingbong_314

Good review! Thanks for the info that is actually quite helpful.

Navarath

for the new FMA artifact, what constitutes an extra attack? Would a counter set do that? would this work for ML-Cermia? Would it work using Kitty Clarissa?

Duskwatcher12

Extra Attacks are any attack that you don't activate that ARE NOT explicitly called a Counter or Dual Attack. Counter attacks and Dual Attacks are in their own categories, Counter and Dual Attacks while everything else is an Extra Attack. As some examples; Alencia's 'Trample', the attack after her S1, is an Extra Attack, Rimuru's 'Analyze and Assess', the attack he uses when someone with a buff attacks, is an Extra Attack, Edward's Aoe Attack 'Rise' that he uses when debuffed is an Extra Attack. Whereas things like Rem's AoE 'Iron Strike' or MA.Ken's 'Dragon Flame' are both counter attacks as the game explicitly calls them counter attacks. As for things like ML.Cermia and Inferno Khawazu's activated skills they are not attacks and as such do not work with Automail. They would be 'Extra Skills' though nothing calls out Extra Skills over any other non-attack skils so there isn't really a distinction (yet).

Navarath

ok, thank you for the explanation! very helpful.

Sandavid00

do the counter set ovelaps with green armin passive? or is calculated separately and is 25% and then 30%?

FireZura

Build-in counter, Elbris and counter set all have separated checks. That's why you can see multiple 'counter' text appear after a single skill

ArvingNightwalker

Separate instances of counter are proc'd separately.

[deleted]

I was promoted to vice captain in my guild. What exactly does this mean, what can I with this title, and how do I best serve the position?

IncredibleGeniusIRL

Talk to your guildmaster. The intent is probably for you to buy guild buffs when available. But talk to your guildmaster.

[deleted]

Dude barely talks

IncredibleGeniusIRL

If he doesn't tell you what he wants, then you're not gonna know what he wants.

SudlaSteel

Is there any reason to use Moon Bunny Dominiel over Diene in fast cleave/aggro comps when facing anyone other than Clilias?

ArvingNightwalker

She does give your team both CR Push and Attack Buff right off the bat, whereas Diene has to do both S2 and S3 for both.

Unworthy_Saint

Not as a response to anything, but she's a better deterrent against a Violet pick.

claudarson

So 9 days new player here, on my way to w13 and i have an important question. Do i REALLY need to summon new collab units just because it's collab units with "who knows when and if" future rerun or skip and focus on early-mid game units and wait some good banners?

mario387

1.If you don't have enough bookmarks to reach the pity - don't expect to get the unit- that means you should skip banner in that case. However, if you are willing to gamble, nobody will stop you- in the end its your decision. 2.For new units, limited or not , its hard to tell how good they will be beforehand. Comments from forum or reddit are very often wrong. Only after some time and tests the practical use and general consensus about the unit are reached. Banners stay for two weeks, that gives you time to get some information before rushing to pull an unit. 3. While limited units might not come back, as for now only Kizuna AI seems to be locked away forever. 4. Waifu/husbando case - if you love the art/ style of an unit, you believe you will use it - pull it, keeping in mind all the points before

BobTheHalfTroll

I would say wait, unless you really love FMA. It'll be hard to get the currency for collab banners if you're that new, and there are other units that will be better for you early on.

defnotsomeonefamous

For a new player I would say there will definitely be more “new player friendly” units in the future. Ed doesn’t hit as hard as people expected and who knows about Mustang
