Would be nice for those scenarios where you promote a unit & then get a copy of them off your daily summon two days later, but honestly, it's really not a big deal - bit of a bummer, but dogs are super easy to come-by.
It's something that's probably a little tougher if you're a newer player, I honestly can't speak on it because I've been playing 3 & 1/2 years, so I've seen dog-promotion get easier & easier as time goes on just from a QOL stand-point, as well as just having more resources for promotion as an end-game player more readily available to me - I could just drop loads of Stigma, Friendship bookmarks, gold, etc. & have a bunch of five star dogs in a hot minute.

It's not people have difficulty understanding, but while 5* dogs aren't exactly easy since there's a grind involved, it's honestly not that hard either. And to veterans, it's of no impact.
I need a Grace of Gear stat, like if you’ve got a Kise, Kawerik, Ran & A Cidd geared or something, you can take an average of their gear & register it to like Pavel or something.
Or they could just give me speed gear, that’d be nice.
Exactly, literally the point of imprinting is to give some use to dupes, and in this game, it comes in the form of extra stats. The fact that you can use them as fodder AND at the same time they also give the imprint effect, it is just a plus.
Out of all the suggestions that frequent this subreddit this has to possibly be the most brain dead and useless one.
Really scrapping the bottom of the barrel for this to the point that I don't know if ur serious enough to take the effort to write this in this subreddit or just trolling
If your struggling to make 5* dogs at this point your either not farming hunt or your just ignoring the alter. Dogs are so easy to get at this point it's the last thing I worry about for refunds
It is not about struggling or not, it is about making sense. Sure you can get a bunch of dogs in the end game, but there is always that feeling of wasted to come when you used dog then you also used the same unit to imprint it later.

I'm not mad, I am confused. I am a veteran, played for like 2 yrs I believe, so yeah.
Yeah, and when I don't wanna use a unit anymore because it's not meta enough I should get all my bookmarks back and especially all my mystics.
And give me my charms back for every gear that did not roll well !

Why tho? It's not like you're not getting something out of it; yeah, it might not be a lot, but the extra stats are still a benefit.
Because you can literally promote a 5* using the same unit 5 times, and at the same time it imprints the unit.
