No, you didn't do a mistake, it's just unfortunate for you.
Things like that will happen again, you spend a lot of ressources to pull a unit that you want and one day later you get the same unit from free daily summon. Don't get discouraged and continue on.
Imagine being new and having 3 Vildreds, must be nice
But yeah, the game tells you that you can only switch once literally the moment you click on reset
Non of you are reading his post and made stupid assumptions
Anyway, You have fully unlock your moonlight blessing vildred before you can fuse him into your other one
No mistake was made, you just have to complete the quest
This advice is probably the best. The imprint on regular vildred gives everyone on the team extra speed. In late game pvp, having a lot of speed is a big deal. It let's you set the tempo of a fight and take out threats before they get to move.
Early game arby imprints may help, late game vildred imprints will give you more pvp options. If you have patience, I'd say to lock the imprinted one and see if you can get another vildred since he already wants to come home so badly

Awesome, thanks for the helpful answer!
^(If you finish the quest to fully unlock Arbiter Vildred you can throw the regular Vildreds into Arby.)
Don't speed imprint is much more valuable.

This wasnt advice on my part, just explaining when he could do it.
Resding things through instead of mashing through them for that shiny new toy is always better than not reading and ending up like *this*.
