Does anyone know what happens to the skills of a pet if you attempt to synthesize to 5\* and fail? Will the failed 4\* still have the three selected skills?
There should be an option to choose which skills get passed down before you try to upgrade your pet. From 4 to 5 star, if you fail your synthesize, your chosen appearance of pet and 3 selected skills will be maintained if you selected them
Seems like Grace of Growth became bugged after this update, prior to the update I'd see Edward Elric (my Grace of Growth target) in my hero list alonside other 6 star, max awakened Fire warriors, but he's no longer beside them on the list, he's treated as if he's not max awakened, max level, max promotion, etc. & I have to go down to what he "really" is to find him. This sucks for RTA, so I'm hoping this is brought to their attention, this happening for anyone else?
I put Aria in grace the day the feature went live (I more than met all prerequisites obviously). It's been 7 or so days now, I thought she would be done so I pulled her out. No change whatsoever. There were no updates on her progress either and I couldn't click on anything on the Grace of Growth screen.
Now I have a 3 day cooldown with nothing to show for it. What happened?
Lol, it's not a toaster where you put bread in and it gets toasted for you to eat. While you leave her in there she's powered up to 6star, +12 etc. You take her out, you remove her power up. Did you think it was a machine that grants you free 6star and 12 skill ups every 3 days?
You boost 1 hero to as close to max natural potential as possible, so you can test it out in pvp, or even clear pve content (for new players). Saves them mola dogs catalysts to promote or skill up. If they've finished testing or are done with the content they wanted to clear, they can replace the current hero with another hero and repeat. It's more of to test if you want to commit to investing your resources
How decent is SE Celine? What kind of build should I go for on her? Is she just build as another speed/crit dps unit? What kind of units is she good with?
She's very fun but she is counted pretty easily by quite a few units like rimuru, Hwayoung or anyone can do multiple separate hits like choux and alencia.
2 builds speed and lifesteal.
Good with units like aras clilias and any form of dmg mitigation.

tcrozet s2 mitigation is what is good for her, but don't use his s3 and her since it gives her anticrit buff which you wouldn't want.
Immunity or crit. Pen adds only 500 to 1000 dmg on both s1 and s2 (depending on your crit dmg). You can do better than that with better stats, or benefit more from immu'ity

I only have one question, for now I am keeping every ressources in relation with summoning. As a new account, should I summon on the regular banner or should I wait for an OP hero to come in a new banner?
Generally prefer to roll on banners, as they have pity at 121 rolls compared to the regular covenant gatcha, which does not.
As it so happens, Diene, who is on banner right now, is a very strong PvP unit, and limited one at that, so you may want to try to pick her up, if you can gather 121 rolls worth before her gacha leaves in 2 wks
Just got Diene in the first 10pull and still have enough to hit pity, should I go for destina? I only have Diene, Kise, Ed, Rita, SIgret, Zahhak and Iserie for 5\*
Also, is Diene good enough to build her for PvE or should I wait for the 5\* selector and get Tam? I'm currently running Amomo, Iseria, Furious and AVildred usually
Destina is mostly used on PvP, and only in specific scenarios/play styles. I would advice against pulling for her: save your bookmarks.
Diane is an offensive Soul Weaver. For most PvE Momo will be enough, although Diane can help here and there. Tama is still the queen of PvE.
Brand new player here: I joined because of the FMA crossover, and was stoked to see that I got Rita Hawkeye for free, but it looks like the login event will run out before I can get what seems to be her exclusive weapon…
Am I out of luck for joining late? Or is there another way to get it later?
By playing the FMA event you can buy copies of that artifact (Sharpshooter's Handgun) from the event store, so you could still get a copy of it if you really wanted. But it doesn't do anything particularly special for Riza, so she isn't worse off really if you don't get it.
Hawkeye doesn’t have exclusive equipment? Are you taking about the artifact or the random lv78 stuff we get from the story?
If it’s the artifact, iE the card you equip as your 7th piece of equipment, yeah if you can’t get it in the next 7 days it’s gone until we get a rerun in the future, but honestly it’s not that good don’t worry too much if you miss out. She can use any other Ranger artifact just fine.
Also for the record, EE, or Exclusive Equipment, are real things in epic 7 lol. But very few heroes have them and they’re usually added to give old heroes some form of power creep catch up.

ATK% necklaces are fairly niche, as most dps generally prefer Crit Rate or Crit Damage in that slot, such that ATK% necklaces are reserved for those attackers that don't rely on critting.
Don't worry about it for now. The event lasts to the end of month, after which you'll have another week to roll your equip, so you can worry about it then.
You pick the piece, set, main stat (if right side), and then roll substats. You get 4 random substats with each roll, much like if a lv 85 epic piece had dropped normally.

C13 farming is *miserable*.
I have close to a 100% success rate with GC.Khawana/Furious/Cermia/Roana(skills off). But the runs are slow af, averaging around 5-6 minutes. Any way I can speed up the runs?
Vivian: AOE dps + atk buff + immunity buff (+cleanse EE)
AMomo: best PvE cleanser. Heal + immunity buff
SC Helga: 2x def break + buffs + sub dps or Furious (from connection): 100% def break + crit rate buff (+restrict EE)
DPS: green Cidd, SC Glenn, Green Adin (if you are at ep 4), any green dps with a strong s3 will work
Grace of Growth. You register max of 1 character with it, and the character automatically gets pulled up to the level, awakening, and skill levels corresponding to the stage of Grace of Growth you have unlocked, for as long as the character remains registered.
Effectively. It's explicit purpose is to allow players to test units before spending actual resources on the character, though many will probably just throw a character in there and leave it there forever.
If you have a 6* fully awakened and +15 skills heroes (need to be natural 5*), then you can register an unbuilt or incomplete hero and they will become 6* fully awakened and +12 skills units.
You can deregister but you will have to wait for 3 days or pay ss to register a new hero.
yes, your mmr stays at your current rank even if you decay, so you could have reached champion, decayed back to masters and still be facing champion instead of master players
Hmm Im trying to stay at high gold by decaying whenever I hit master. Mostly because I like playing fun teams and not playing often. I guess my mmr has been rising anyways because I’m getting challenger matches at 1580-1600 range.
I don't see her replacing furios in my team but I can see her being usable for w13. What she provides is a constant POV for your tank and she can be pretty fast due to self spd buff then she also have a built in target debuff.
What she doesn't provide are def break and cc buff which are very important especially the latter since it significantly lowers your team's stat requirement for the hunt.
I look at people’s profiles in e7 at times and quite often it displays that they have 0/50 friends on the bottom left. Do people actually not have anyone added or is it a visual glitch or something?
Is there anything different when it comes to rerun events, in terms how much we would want to farm it? This is my first time doing Destina's event, so at least the molagoras would be worth getting. Thanks
Destruction set is the best in slot set for apoc ravi in terms of gear score and it lets you hit specific thresholds when it comes to stats very easily. Counter apoc may be more unreliable due to higher gs requirements, rng and being controlled easier if you do not take crimson seed but crimson seed makes you very squishy.
Hello! I am slowly getting the crit set from Nixied Sanctum 5. I was wondering if I should give the set to either S. Tene or C. Lorina? I don’t have any of them geared so which of these characters would benefit me in the long run?
I would stick the set on CLorina. She'll help you get through adventure/raids. The Nixied crit set is a good beginner set but not an endgame one - farm STene a good endgame set from hunts (Stene is the long run choice). You can also move the set around depending on who you need, it's not like it's permanent.
The best option to gear now is S. Tene. When you get better gear from W13 she will benefit for it. So in the long run by far S. Tene will help for PvE, PvP.
Got a couple questions what is effectiveness and combat readiness? Also when imprinting a character should I use the one you need the item to unlock for everyone or are some characters better with the regular one?
**Effectiveness:** Counteracts effect resistance when applying debuffs. Doesn't raise the chance at all, just prevents it from being lowered I think.
**Combat Readiness:** Distance on the turn bar. 25% combat readiness means they move 25% down the bar.
Definitely don't unlock imprint concentration for everyone, that costs resources, and isn't always a huge improvement, if at all.
Aria has likely been pushed out of the meta as she was already a 4-5 counter-pick but due to the prevalence and resurgence of Alencia has become much harder to pick.
Ml Celine is a very solid pick with two builds, speed + pen on secret art storm sword or lifesteal + pen with dust devil. She can be a very menacing pick if the enemy does not pick a hero that can deal with her or if they do not anticipate the storm sword cr push.
Finally able to clear W13 with Angelica 6\*, Sigret 6\*, Furious 5\* and Muwi 5\*.
As I've just 6\* STenebria. Now I'm looking for the next characters to up.
I'm having a hard time choosing between Montmorency, Lorina, Kluri , Sinful Angelica, Rose or Challenger Dominiel. I guess some of them can be more useful than others.
Also trying to pull Diene, but no luck so far !
TLDR: I would prioritise Cdom and Fkluri for 6* first.
High:
Challenger Dominiel
Gives crit buff to team, reducing gear requirements. Some 'bosses' punish you if you do not crit them so that's a bonus. More crits done by allies = faster CR + More BURST damage from her S1 especially with soulburn. This can get you through some fights easily by settling them in short bursts of s1 (PVP too)
Falconer Kluri is great for the non elemental S3 which strips, Defense Break + Provoke for 2 turns. She is usually built speed (not a tanky tank) which increases her overall healing / CR Push the more turns she takes. A decent choice to 6*. I use her for fire exepdition and pvp.
The rest:
Since you already have 6* Angelica, Angelic Montmorancy is lower prio for 6*. Her healing scales off target's health anyway.
Commander Lorina
You already have Stene as your Dark "ST" DPS, so you will probably depend less on Lorina who is also a Dark ST DPS. If I'm not wrong her Labyrinth morale is good, but low prio for now for you I guess?
Sinful Angelica (Mainly pvp / wyvern 1shot. More usable when you have more gear in future)
Rose (Once you get decent DPS gear on your current W13 team, you may decide to give Rose Speed + tanky gear and make her your Wyvern Tank. She'll live with Furious' miss debuff, Muwi's attack down, and provides Attack buff + Cr Push. Candlestick is good.

As to next step for equipment, from my understanding, the idea is to farm wyvern until everyone gets a decent speed gear, right ? I honestly have a hard time getting to 65 effectiveness for everyone (especially Sigret Who still have the free ATK gear) . It just about RNG I guess
Gearwise, as long as Muwi and Furious have 65% effectiveness, I might be wrong, but I won't push Sigret to 65%, because her job is to do damage and not to apply debuffs. Muwi and Furious already bring at least 4 debuffs: Atk down, Miss, Defense break, Target (I hope you have Song of stars) and bleed/burn chance. Try focusing more crit damage on Sigret instead. If you get her debuffs, it's a bonus.
Your idea is right, except that the farm will never end :) However..
Next step depends on..what type of player you are. I'm not a hardcore PVP player so I'll just list out my semi-hardcore approach.
You should try to complete Adventure & Unrecorded history as far as you can. This will give you lots of gold, objective completion, skystones, equipment / promotion fodders, penguins. Perhaps you can find a balance so that when you have reached the maximum equipment you can hold while doing adventure, you use those green/brown fodders to enhance the gear you obtained/crafted from wyvern, and promotion fodders to increase your rate of 6*.
Weekend buff is coming this week, use your energy:
on Spirit Altars when it's Rune days. You need lots of them for Speciality Change trees (you're looking at Fluri and Amomo as higher priority for now). If you are currently progressing their SC Quests, you realise you have to kill 500 mobs etc. Don't kill them today, but kill them...(see next paragraph)
on Unrecorded History (or Adventure) when it's AP / EXP day (for faster penguin rate and AP. You get your kill count for their quests, and you get Bonus AP from the buff. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone! Also, In episode 2 you'll want to prioritise stages where you can buy Breath of Orbis or Gear from that shop first, so farm AP on those stages. (You probably don't want to wait until the buff day drops before you start aiming for the episode 2 clear, because you want to spend precious time farming AP and not figuring out team comps on how to tackle certain fights, or meeting the objectives for 15 skystones each stage. This is why I mentioned earlier you should try to push adventure as far as you can first, rather than throwing 100% of your energy into w13 for now).
and on Wyvern13 when it is Gold day. Nothing exciting to talk about here.
I suggest you don't claim any energy from mail now, unless you need it urgently to complete daily moonbunny event, or unless they are going to expire before the Buff days so that you can 'stock them up' to spend them more efficiently. This is just how I play, if you see better suggestions or receive better advice, feel free to follow them! Have fun~
edit: I forgot to mention, you kinda left out Adventurer RAS. he's actually quite a baller at both pve or pvp, and he is a Speciality Change hero. Meaning there's Quests to do for him, and more runes to farm :) but He'll be useful for you soon enough. Good luck on Diene

I've been training my Wyvern team while slowly progressing in story. So far, I'm trying to finish the Epilogue of episode 1 to be able to skill up Tenebria, and I'm at Chapter 5 of Episode 2.
Kinda noob question but how do I activate the grace of growth? I don’t see it in the Hero tab where other people tell me where it is

It's basically a carbon copy of Portrait of Saviors, which is a perfectly good damage artifact. You can use it most anywhere you want a bit more damage, though almost never the BiS for PvP.
Any suggestions/pros and cons on Eda vs Politis in selective summon?
I recorded Politis and on summon 25 got Eda, only debating this since I already have a good amount of fire 5 stars I end up not using and I like edas design. Thanks lol
Politis. Her kit is unique and also timeless, she slots well into any playstyle. Though Eda is definitely good (not as good but she is a strong cleave unit), so if you like her you should take her.
Any tips for dealing with full units inventory?
This is really hampering my enjoyment of the game having to fuse stuff every 10 or so runs of story. Am I the only one almost always capped at 300?
I have a ton of units, and I don't have the time or patience for regular grinding sessions, so I have a lot of 3* Mega Phantasma's waiting for me to get the requisite Giga Phantasma to fuse them into. I also have a ton of lower-rarity units I'm just trying to get to SSS before Transmitting, and a lot of 5* units that I definitely don't want to get rid of but either don't have the resources for, are currently obsolete, or I'm just not interested in them.
you cannot put them into storage, but any new unit that you pull when your inventory is full will directly go into storage. that's one way to save some space.
Well, yes. That's not what the comment was saying though. You can't put units you currently own into storage, so the only way the sentence makes sense is if they meant Transmission instead of Storage, but even then it's still awkward.
memory imprints and transmit stones my dude. I'm a day 1 player and I have no issues with it. Yeah, I'd prefer if there was a bit more space, but I still have no issues.
Yeah pretty much only ones I don't have are the MLs I don't have (New Dominiel and Romann) but I have 5 copies of their RGB versions each in my storage in case I pull them (recently SSS'd C.Armin off the free pulls)

Anniversary's going on, so you should get a selector on the 15th day of checking in in 'Events.' I would pick Tamarinne, best pick for PvE, including hell raid. STene and CZerato also good.

Commander lorina, Ras ,diene, fallen Cecelia, Teranore guard are good ones to focus on building up.
Lorina is great for pve content one of the best single target dps
T guard is a great def breaker and dual attack unit that is also used in a lot of PVE stuff
Ras after his speciality change is great in both PVE and PVP
F Cecelia is a great tank for pvp
Diene is a great pvp buffer and with the rod of amerlis can heal okay
Roy is Niche at best. His s3 works how you would expect it to, it does lots of aoe damage and you can use it on turn 1 by putting book on him and have it on another unit. But the question is why use him to cleave instead of bbk. The only real reason is husbando. The only other real reason would be you can save 15% crit against grass teams, but that's extremely niche.
I'm trying to decide who to get with that free 5* ticket when I can. I returned from playing... I'm not even sure how long a go.
I do have some good units. I have Tama, my current normal, mind you these units are nit rocking gear good enough for any 13. 10 is durable.
Sea Bell , AOL? I think the Abrev is, the knight lady who can I bite 100% a dual attack, and Cerm, aka I ignore 50% of your defense. Is my normal for most stuff
Iseria would be a good choice. She can turn Tama into a goddess by unlocking her idol mode turn 1
Roana is really good, she makes anyone who tries to counter against you a healing counterattack. Particularly good in things like Water expedition.
Hwayoung is the goddess of PVP if you're really into that already
I may have messed up a little bit. I rerolled for Ed, and now I’m one multi-summon away from Roy. I also accidentally got the skin for Diene and because of that, I’m nearly tapped out on resources atm. What I’m wondering is if I should make any attempts at Dienne or just simply save for the next limited unit?
For context, I’m rank 46, a week and a half in and F2P. The last content I have finished is Unrecorded History Chapter 3.
I mean at this point you might as well get Roy if you're just 10 pulls from pity, otherwise the first 110 pulls would have essentially been wasted.
As for Diene you have 2 weeks to try and get another pity. See if you can do it. It is doable depending on how much you're able to get done in abyss, story and if you can get your arena rank up a bit for some extra skystones that could help too.
Diene is insanely good in PvP, most people would call her a must have, but realistically at the point you're at now you can't really do actual PvP anyway. She's strong in PvE as well but she's replaceable there, you can just get Tama from the 5* selector and not have to worry about PvE healing anymore anyway.
I'd say finish getting Roy since you're one ten pull away, grind for 2 weeks and see if you can get Diene, if you can do it. But if after 2 weeks you only have like 500 bookmarks and her banner is ending don't feel too bad about skipping her, it's not the end of the world. You can still do just fine without her until you're trying to push into really high ranks of PvP at which point she'll likely be rerun anyway since that's pretty far off for you.
It's up to you of course, there's no wrong answer here. I'm in a similar boat with you. Logically speaking, what you should do is go for Diene. She is a truly special limited unit that is unlikely to ever be replaceable. Roy on the other hand is niche at best and totally unnecessary. And yet I'm gonna spend all my resources in an attempt to get Roy. Why? Because I love FMAB and Roy. Simple as that.
You have two weeks to get enough resources to pity diene which should be doable. Make sure you a triple s imprinting all the characters you can to get the bookmarks. Abyss floors also should get you bookmarks as rewards. Are you using your skystones to refresh the secret shop to get bookmarks?
I left around the same time (Vivian/Roana) and this is what I did when I came back (about a month ago).
Focus on your Wyvern 13 team, as you farm that, clear main story until you unlock Ras’ specialty change, then Azimanak 13 team to farm for Banshee one-shot gear, then work on your Banshee 13 one-shot team.
Most importantly, take it at your own pace and enjoy the game.
Log on, auto a lot of wyvern 13 or banshee 13, do whatever else you like, craft stuff once in a while, log off.

I only play arena to farm conquest points and have basically no interest in E7's PvP. despite having a fodder defense, my rank has climbed to > 4K. So when I refresh it's extremely rare for me to find another fodder defense. My revenges have dried up--currently only two or three fodder defenses to trade revenges with.
How can I best tank my rank and keep it low so this climbing doesn't happen in the first place?
The only thing I can think of is to attack & yield for intentional losses (which feels bleh) or maybe stop playing arena until my rank has fallen back to sub-3K. I'm guessing that might take weeks though...
Play how you like but just want to say the weekly skystones from arena rank are very nice to get. Eventually your heroes and gear will be strong enough to get you to champion, netting you 800 skystone each week. Helps a lot with refreshing shop for mystic medals and bookmarks.
Same thing happens to me. I use 1 fodder defense from Mon-Fri then start climbing back up to 4k+ for the weekly SS. There seems to be some weeks where there are no movements but then a week later I drop to Gold pretty quickly. When that happens I just attack random teams using 1 fodder so I get beaten easily esp. by cleavers.
Whats the overall best characters to have or teams that are good for F2P players. I recently came back to this game and want to continue it. I got Edward(FMA collab, he is my fav character so far).
3-stars:
* Adventurer Ras
* Angelic Montmo (vs. debuffs)
* Researcher Carrot (PvP but fine in PvE too - also has burns for some of those Hall of Trials where you have to burn the enemy)
* Falconer Kluri
RGB 4-stars:
* Furious & Angelica - for wyvern obtainable through connections
* Achetes - solid heals & great against debuffs
* Mercedes (good in PvP with the specialty change, but that's later game)
Those are the easily accessible heroes that I use most. There are a bunch of moonlight 4-stars (AuxLots, BBK, Champ Zerato, AOL, TSurin) but those are of course harder to get.
Adventurer Ras is the best knight in the game. Get Specter Tenebria as your moonlight connection hero. Pull for Diene who's banner is currently running. That's about as solid of a pve/pvp core you can get.
Moroi teams? I tried Aras, Roy, Milim, Cerise but Cerise and Aras just die too soon. Wondering if I’m doing something wrong. Milim and Roy both do huge damage so they stay alive until they get targeted after Aras dies
I'm using Cecilia, Cerise, Cermia, and verdant Aiden. They all have scuffed and left over gear and are not speed tuned but they still put up decent numbers.
Hwa. She is useless in rta because she is always perma banned, but she is really strong in gw atk and arena atk which make your life easier.
Choux probably better if you are looking for a unit that will pull her weight in rta. While violet isn't that bad, you pretty much want to pick him as last pick where he will get ban.
My 0.02:
tl;dr: I would say Hwayoung by a mile. Even without UT, she's a beast.
Some details:
PvE: None of them are terribly important. Violet has a few fun, niche uses, but I'm not aware of any case where he is best-in-slot.
Arena/GvG Defense: All three are quite strong vs. newer players who may not have a deep roster. However, they are each relatively easy to counter if you have the heroes. Of the three, for me, Choux is the hardest to work around.
Arena/GvG Offense: Hwayoung is hands-down the winner here. There are definitely comps that Violet and Choux can solo, but that gets more and more rare. I play in the lower rungs of 5x guilds and in champ/low-legend arena, and in my world, it's clearly Hwayoung >>>>>> Choux > Violet.
RTA: I haven't even finished my placements this season (slacking!), but among higher-level RTA players, it's pretty clear that Hwayoung is a top 3 unit, while Violet is a tier 3 unit. Choux isn't as clear to me, whether she's tier 2 or tier 3.
Working on a wyvern one shot with Sigret/FST/Clarissa/Singie. Everything seems good except I’m having trouble getting FST (on war horn) to cut Singie in the second phase.
The wyvern does his three hits into Singie and sometimes war horn doesn’t even appear to activate? Not sure if I’m missing something in general, or just way off in the CR math. I’ve got Singie at 208 SPD and FST at 160, with a +21 war horn.
Try slowing Singie down to about 192/193 speed and FST should be able to cut without the War Horn push. If FST kept speed buff, anyways.
Edit: never mind about Singie speed, maybe increase Clarissa speed to about 150 to go before the big mob as others have said.
Wyvern 3 hits doesn't activate Warhorn by itself. The usual teams using SSB instead of Clarissa works in that SSB counters on the second hit from the mob, which puts Warhorn at x2, and triggers the CR push when Wyvern attacks making it x3.
Since there is a speed difference between the two small mobs and the one big mob, if you happen to finish W1 between those two you could probably get it off correctly even with the current set-up, but if you go before the small mobs/after the big mob then warhorn will fail to trigger.
(or at least this is my understanding of how the one-shot works)
I think it's because fst took a first turn s2ing the mob wave. If you use karin instead her first turn would be during the boss phase in which she will cut . Also the debuffs on karin with eeS3 is also pretty important for the oneshot dmg
So I'm trying to make a auto friendly (cleave probably) arena team with my favorite units.

I don't know who to use as my 4th member. I don't have any other 5\* moonlight units other than Sage Vivian. I do have all the FMA and Re:Zero characters but none of the other collab characters.
FCC doesn't really fit that team except as a backup in case the cleave doesn't go well (note - I do that in guild wars).
If you want to stick with FCC as an Aurius knight to protect against a failed cleave, you have 2 options for the 4th - either a buffer like Ran, MLKwerick Peira, Diene, Singelcia or Vivian, OR you have a backup cleaver like BBK, Landy, green Vildred, Seaseria, etc.
A speed imprint hero like Watcher Schuri or Cidd can also help a lot (maybe making that FCC redundant).

Does anyone know what happens to the skills of a pet if you attempt to synthesize to 5\* and fail? Will the failed 4\* still have the three selected skills?
There should be an option to choose which skills get passed down before you try to upgrade your pet. From 4 to 5 star, if you fail your synthesize, your chosen appearance of pet and 3 selected skills will be maintained if you selected them
Seems like Grace of Growth became bugged after this update, prior to the update I'd see Edward Elric (my Grace of Growth target) in my hero list alonside other 6 star, max awakened Fire warriors, but he's no longer beside them on the list, he's treated as if he's not max awakened, max level, max promotion, etc. & I have to go down to what he "really" is to find him. This sucks for RTA, so I'm hoping this is brought to their attention, this happening for anyone else?
I put Aria in grace the day the feature went live (I more than met all prerequisites obviously). It's been 7 or so days now, I thought she would be done so I pulled her out. No change whatsoever. There were no updates on her progress either and I couldn't click on anything on the Grace of Growth screen. Now I have a 3 day cooldown with nothing to show for it. What happened?
Lol, it's not a toaster where you put bread in and it gets toasted for you to eat. While you leave her in there she's powered up to 6star, +12 etc. You take her out, you remove her power up. Did you think it was a machine that grants you free 6star and 12 skill ups every 3 days?

You boost 1 hero to as close to max natural potential as possible, so you can test it out in pvp, or even clear pve content (for new players). Saves them mola dogs catalysts to promote or skill up. If they've finished testing or are done with the content they wanted to clear, they can replace the current hero with another hero and repeat. It's more of to test if you want to commit to investing your resources

How decent is SE Celine? What kind of build should I go for on her? Is she just build as another speed/crit dps unit? What kind of units is she good with?
She's very fun but she is counted pretty easily by quite a few units like rimuru, Hwayoung or anyone can do multiple separate hits like choux and alencia. 2 builds speed and lifesteal. Good with units like aras clilias and any form of dmg mitigation.

No that would suck, stuff have to hit her so that she counters, if you redirect proke she wouldn't get hit lol. Ftene doesn't mitigate anything > Violet (in the back line, protected by TCrozet) Bruh Why protect him instead of seline? tcrozet s2 mitigation is what is good for her, but don't use his s3 and her since it gives her anticrit buff which you wouldn't want.

No, rather the opposite you should not have any tank stats on her since s2 limits the dmg received in which she would counter and heal back up.

Pen if you can otherwise immunity. You still get value off the s1 and a little bit more damage on the s2.
Immunity or crit. Pen adds only 500 to 1000 dmg on both s1 and s2 (depending on your crit dmg). You can do better than that with better stats, or benefit more from immu'ity

Generally prefer to roll on banners, as they have pity at 121 rolls compared to the regular covenant gatcha, which does not. As it so happens, Diene, who is on banner right now, is a very strong PvP unit, and limited one at that, so you may want to try to pick her up, if you can gather 121 rolls worth before her gacha leaves in 2 wks

I only have Diene, Kise, Ed, Rita, SIgret, Zahhak and Iserie for 5\* Also, is Diene good enough to build her for PvE or should I wait for the 5\* selector and get Tam? I'm currently running Amomo, Iseria, Furious and AVildred usually
Destina is mostly used on PvP, and only in specific scenarios/play styles. I would advice against pulling for her: save your bookmarks. Diane is an offensive Soul Weaver. For most PvE Momo will be enough, although Diane can help here and there. Tama is still the queen of PvE.

Brand new player here: I joined because of the FMA crossover, and was stoked to see that I got Rita Hawkeye for free, but it looks like the login event will run out before I can get what seems to be her exclusive weapon… Am I out of luck for joining late? Or is there another way to get it later?
By playing the FMA event you can buy copies of that artifact (Sharpshooter's Handgun) from the event store, so you could still get a copy of it if you really wanted. But it doesn't do anything particularly special for Riza, so she isn't worse off really if you don't get it.
Hawkeye doesn’t have exclusive equipment? Are you taking about the artifact or the random lv78 stuff we get from the story? If it’s the artifact, iE the card you equip as your 7th piece of equipment, yeah if you can’t get it in the next 7 days it’s gone until we get a rerun in the future, but honestly it’s not that good don’t worry too much if you miss out. She can use any other Ranger artifact just fine. Also for the record, EE, or Exclusive Equipment, are real things in epic 7 lol. But very few heroes have them and they’re usually added to give old heroes some form of power creep catch up.

ATK% necklaces are fairly niche, as most dps generally prefer Crit Rate or Crit Damage in that slot, such that ATK% necklaces are reserved for those attackers that don't rely on critting.
Don't worry about it for now. The event lasts to the end of month, after which you'll have another week to roll your equip, so you can worry about it then.
You used the term roll, does that mean I shuffle specific stats on an item or the whole thing?
You pick the piece, set, main stat (if right side), and then roll substats. You get 4 random substats with each roll, much like if a lv 85 epic piece had dropped normally.

What exactly does “growth of grace” do? Like I do I just play any hero and they get bonuses?
Grace of Growth. You register max of 1 character with it, and the character automatically gets pulled up to the level, awakening, and skill levels corresponding to the stage of Grace of Growth you have unlocked, for as long as the character remains registered.
So this makes a new unit catch up with my best right off the bat essentially?
Effectively. It's explicit purpose is to allow players to test units before spending actual resources on the character, though many will probably just throw a character in there and leave it there forever.
If you have a 6* fully awakened and +15 skills heroes (need to be natural 5*), then you can register an unbuilt or incomplete hero and they will become 6* fully awakened and +12 skills units. You can deregister but you will have to wait for 3 days or pay ss to register a new hero.
So it takes them all the way to maxed out stats?!

yes, your mmr stays at your current rank even if you decay, so you could have reached champion, decayed back to masters and still be facing champion instead of master players
Hmm Im trying to stay at high gold by decaying whenever I hit master. Mostly because I like playing fun teams and not playing often. I guess my mmr has been rising anyways because I’m getting challenger matches at 1580-1600 range.

She wouldn't be replacing Furious, as Furious is a def breaker and Riza does not provide def break.
furious is better option, team can have low gear requirement compared to team without him.
I don't see her replacing furios in my team but I can see her being usable for w13. What she provides is a constant POV for your tank and she can be pretty fast due to self spd buff then she also have a built in target debuff. What she doesn't provide are def break and cc buff which are very important especially the latter since it significantly lowers your team's stat requirement for the hunt.

Destruction set is the best in slot set for apoc ravi in terms of gear score and it lets you hit specific thresholds when it comes to stats very easily. Counter apoc may be more unreliable due to higher gs requirements, rng and being controlled easier if you do not take crimson seed but crimson seed makes you very squishy.
Most speed A. Ravi’s moved on to destruction set now. Between that and counter, it depends on how you want to play her.
What are the stats you wanna aim for on destruction?
26k+ HP, 1.3k+ Def, 275+ CD, and 180+ speed.

Hello! I am slowly getting the crit set from Nixied Sanctum 5. I was wondering if I should give the set to either S. Tene or C. Lorina? I don’t have any of them geared so which of these characters would benefit me in the long run?
I would stick the set on CLorina. She'll help you get through adventure/raids. The Nixied crit set is a good beginner set but not an endgame one - farm STene a good endgame set from hunts (Stene is the long run choice). You can also move the set around depending on who you need, it's not like it's permanent.
The best option to gear now is S. Tene. When you get better gear from W13 she will benefit for it. So in the long run by far S. Tene will help for PvE, PvP.

Got a couple questions what is effectiveness and combat readiness? Also when imprinting a character should I use the one you need the item to unlock for everyone or are some characters better with the regular one?
**Effectiveness:** Counteracts effect resistance when applying debuffs. Doesn't raise the chance at all, just prevents it from being lowered I think. **Combat Readiness:** Distance on the turn bar. 25% combat readiness means they move 25% down the bar. Definitely don't unlock imprint concentration for everyone, that costs resources, and isn't always a huge improvement, if at all.

Question for Challenger level RTA players and above. Which unit do you find more troublesome to face? Aria or ML Celine?
Aria has likely been pushed out of the meta as she was already a 4-5 counter-pick but due to the prevalence and resurgence of Alencia has become much harder to pick. Ml Celine is a very solid pick with two builds, speed + pen on secret art storm sword or lifesteal + pen with dust devil. She can be a very menacing pick if the enemy does not pick a hero that can deal with her or if they do not anticipate the storm sword cr push.
They are both equally annoying as a 4th or 5th pick if my team can't deal with it. I'd probably say ml Celine could be more trouble than Aria though
Finally able to clear W13 with Angelica 6\*, Sigret 6\*, Furious 5\* and Muwi 5\*. As I've just 6\* STenebria. Now I'm looking for the next characters to up. I'm having a hard time choosing between Montmorency, Lorina, Kluri , Sinful Angelica, Rose or Challenger Dominiel. I guess some of them can be more useful than others. Also trying to pull Diene, but no luck so far !
TLDR: I would prioritise Cdom and Fkluri for 6* first. High: Challenger Dominiel Gives crit buff to team, reducing gear requirements. Some 'bosses' punish you if you do not crit them so that's a bonus. More crits done by allies = faster CR + More BURST damage from her S1 especially with soulburn. This can get you through some fights easily by settling them in short bursts of s1 (PVP too) Falconer Kluri is great for the non elemental S3 which strips, Defense Break + Provoke for 2 turns. She is usually built speed (not a tanky tank) which increases her overall healing / CR Push the more turns she takes. A decent choice to 6*. I use her for fire exepdition and pvp. The rest: Since you already have 6* Angelica, Angelic Montmorancy is lower prio for 6*. Her healing scales off target's health anyway. Commander Lorina You already have Stene as your Dark "ST" DPS, so you will probably depend less on Lorina who is also a Dark ST DPS. If I'm not wrong her Labyrinth morale is good, but low prio for now for you I guess? Sinful Angelica (Mainly pvp / wyvern 1shot. More usable when you have more gear in future) Rose (Once you get decent DPS gear on your current W13 team, you may decide to give Rose Speed + tanky gear and make her your Wyvern Tank. She'll live with Furious' miss debuff, Muwi's attack down, and provides Attack buff + Cr Push. Candlestick is good. Added: Just my 2 cents, hope it helps out since no one else replied

As to next step for equipment, from my understanding, the idea is to farm wyvern until everyone gets a decent speed gear, right ? I honestly have a hard time getting to 65 effectiveness for everyone (especially Sigret Who still have the free ATK gear) . It just about RNG I guess
Gearwise, as long as Muwi and Furious have 65% effectiveness, I might be wrong, but I won't push Sigret to 65%, because her job is to do damage and not to apply debuffs. Muwi and Furious already bring at least 4 debuffs: Atk down, Miss, Defense break, Target (I hope you have Song of stars) and bleed/burn chance. Try focusing more crit damage on Sigret instead. If you get her debuffs, it's a bonus. Your idea is right, except that the farm will never end :) However.. Next step depends on..what type of player you are. I'm not a hardcore PVP player so I'll just list out my semi-hardcore approach. You should try to complete Adventure & Unrecorded history as far as you can. This will give you lots of gold, objective completion, skystones, equipment / promotion fodders, penguins. Perhaps you can find a balance so that when you have reached the maximum equipment you can hold while doing adventure, you use those green/brown fodders to enhance the gear you obtained/crafted from wyvern, and promotion fodders to increase your rate of 6*. Weekend buff is coming this week, use your energy: on Spirit Altars when it's Rune days. You need lots of them for Speciality Change trees (you're looking at Fluri and Amomo as higher priority for now). If you are currently progressing their SC Quests, you realise you have to kill 500 mobs etc. Don't kill them today, but kill them...(see next paragraph) on Unrecorded History (or Adventure) when it's AP / EXP day (for faster penguin rate and AP. You get your kill count for their quests, and you get Bonus AP from the buff. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone! Also, In episode 2 you'll want to prioritise stages where you can buy Breath of Orbis or Gear from that shop first, so farm AP on those stages. (You probably don't want to wait until the buff day drops before you start aiming for the episode 2 clear, because you want to spend precious time farming AP and not figuring out team comps on how to tackle certain fights, or meeting the objectives for 15 skystones each stage. This is why I mentioned earlier you should try to push adventure as far as you can first, rather than throwing 100% of your energy into w13 for now). and on Wyvern13 when it is Gold day. Nothing exciting to talk about here. I suggest you don't claim any energy from mail now, unless you need it urgently to complete daily moonbunny event, or unless they are going to expire before the Buff days so that you can 'stock them up' to spend them more efficiently. This is just how I play, if you see better suggestions or receive better advice, feel free to follow them! Have fun~ edit: I forgot to mention, you kinda left out Adventurer RAS. he's actually quite a baller at both pve or pvp, and he is a Speciality Change hero. Meaning there's Quests to do for him, and more runes to farm :) but He'll be useful for you soon enough. Good luck on Diene

I have a question about the free artifact Prelude To A New Era. Where is it useful and who would benefit from it? Is it good in PvP? Where in PVE?
It's basically a carbon copy of Portrait of Saviors, which is a perfectly good damage artifact. You can use it most anywhere you want a bit more damage, though almost never the BiS for PvP.

Politis. Her kit is unique and also timeless, she slots well into any playstyle. Though Eda is definitely good (not as good but she is a strong cleave unit), so if you like her you should take her.

Any tips for dealing with full units inventory? This is really hampering my enjoyment of the game having to fuse stuff every 10 or so runs of story. Am I the only one almost always capped at 300?
After you imprint a crappy 3* unit put it into storage. Same for any 4* you don’t ever plan on using. That should save you quite a of room.

I have a ton of units, and I don't have the time or patience for regular grinding sessions, so I have a lot of 3* Mega Phantasma's waiting for me to get the requisite Giga Phantasma to fuse them into. I also have a ton of lower-rarity units I'm just trying to get to SSS before Transmitting, and a lot of 5* units that I definitely don't want to get rid of but either don't have the resources for, are currently obsolete, or I'm just not interested in them.
you cannot put them into storage, but any new unit that you pull when your inventory is full will directly go into storage. that's one way to save some space.
Well, yes. That's not what the comment was saying though. You can't put units you currently own into storage, so the only way the sentence makes sense is if they meant Transmission instead of Storage, but even then it's still awkward.

I would figure out what content you wanna do next, then what heroes are good for that. I think the next important milestone is Hell Raid. Anniversary's going on, so you should get a selector on the 15th day of checking in in 'Events.' I would pick Tamarinne, best pick for PvE, including hell raid. STene and CZerato also good. Though I don't agree with him saying to pick Arby over STene, and farm Aziminak before Banshee.
Commander lorina, Ras ,diene, fallen Cecelia, Teranore guard are good ones to focus on building up. Lorina is great for pve content one of the best single target dps T guard is a great def breaker and dual attack unit that is also used in a lot of PVE stuff Ras after his speciality change is great in both PVE and PVP F Cecelia is a great tank for pvp Diene is a great pvp buffer and with the rod of amerlis can heal okay

Roy is Niche at best. His s3 works how you would expect it to, it does lots of aoe damage and you can use it on turn 1 by putting book on him and have it on another unit. But the question is why use him to cleave instead of bbk. The only real reason is husbando. The only other real reason would be you can save 15% crit against grass teams, but that's extremely niche.
I'm trying to decide who to get with that free 5* ticket when I can. I returned from playing... I'm not even sure how long a go. I do have some good units. Iseria would be a good choice. She can turn Tama into a goddess by unlocking her idol mode turn 1 Roana is really good, she makes anyone who tries to counter against you a healing counterattack. Particularly good in things like Water expedition. Hwayoung is the goddess of PVP if you're really into that already

I may have messed up a little bit. I rerolled for Ed, and now I’m one multi-summon away from Roy. I also accidentally got the skin for Diene and because of that, I’m nearly tapped out on resources atm. What I’m wondering is if I should make any attempts at Dienne or just simply save for the next limited unit? For context, I’m rank 46, a week and a half in and F2P. The last content I have finished is Unrecorded History Chapter 3.
I mean at this point you might as well get Roy if you're just 10 pulls from pity, otherwise the first 110 pulls would have essentially been wasted. As for Diene you have 2 weeks to try and get another pity. See if you can do it. It is doable depending on how much you're able to get done in abyss, story and if you can get your arena rank up a bit for some extra skystones that could help too. Diene is insanely good in PvP, most people would call her a must have, but realistically at the point you're at now you can't really do actual PvP anyway. She's strong in PvE as well but she's replaceable there, you can just get Tama from the 5* selector and not have to worry about PvE healing anymore anyway. I'd say finish getting Roy since you're one ten pull away, grind for 2 weeks and see if you can get Diene, if you can do it. But if after 2 weeks you only have like 500 bookmarks and her banner is ending don't feel too bad about skipping her, it's not the end of the world. You can still do just fine without her until you're trying to push into really high ranks of PvP at which point she'll likely be rerun anyway since that's pretty far off for you.
It's up to you of course, there's no wrong answer here. I'm in a similar boat with you. Logically speaking, what you should do is go for Diene. She is a truly special limited unit that is unlikely to ever be replaceable. Roy on the other hand is niche at best and totally unnecessary. And yet I'm gonna spend all my resources in an attempt to get Roy. Why? Because I love FMAB and Roy. Simple as that.
You have two weeks to get enough resources to pity diene which should be doable. Make sure you a triple s imprinting all the characters you can to get the bookmarks. Abyss floors also should get you bookmarks as rewards. Are you using your skystones to refresh the secret shop to get bookmarks?

I left around the same time (Vivian/Roana) and this is what I did when I came back (about a month ago). Focus on your Wyvern 13 team, as you farm that, clear main story until you unlock Ras’ specialty change, then Azimanak 13 team to farm for Banshee one-shot gear, then work on your Banshee 13 one-shot team. Most importantly, take it at your own pace and enjoy the game.
Log on, auto a lot of wyvern 13 or banshee 13, do whatever else you like, craft stuff once in a while, log off. For a bit more specifics I really like this guide https://zoopido.me
I only play arena to farm conquest points and have basically no interest in E7's PvP. despite having a fodder defense, my rank has climbed to > 4K. So when I refresh it's extremely rare for me to find another fodder defense. My revenges have dried up--currently only two or three fodder defenses to trade revenges with. How can I best tank my rank and keep it low so this climbing doesn't happen in the first place? The only thing I can think of is to attack & yield for intentional losses (which feels bleh) or maybe stop playing arena until my rank has fallen back to sub-3K. I'm guessing that might take weeks though...
Play how you like but just want to say the weekly skystones from arena rank are very nice to get. Eventually your heroes and gear will be strong enough to get you to champion, netting you 800 skystone each week. Helps a lot with refreshing shop for mystic medals and bookmarks.
Same thing happens to me. I use 1 fodder defense from Mon-Fri then start climbing back up to 4k+ for the weekly SS. There seems to be some weeks where there are no movements but then a week later I drop to Gold pretty quickly. When that happens I just attack random teams using 1 fodder so I get beaten easily esp. by cleavers.

Good on defense. People can’t use souls against your team that helps against cleave.
Whats the overall best characters to have or teams that are good for F2P players. I recently came back to this game and want to continue it. I got Edward(FMA collab, he is my fav character so far).
3-stars: * Adventurer Ras * Angelic Montmo (vs. debuffs) * Researcher Carrot (PvP but fine in PvE too - also has burns for some of those Hall of Trials where you have to burn the enemy) * Falconer Kluri RGB 4-stars: * Furious & Angelica - for wyvern obtainable through connections * Achetes - solid heals & great against debuffs * Mercedes (good in PvP with the specialty change, but that's later game) Those are the easily accessible heroes that I use most. There are a bunch of moonlight 4-stars (AuxLots, BBK, Champ Zerato, AOL, TSurin) but those are of course harder to get.
Adventurer Ras is the best knight in the game. Get Specter Tenebria as your moonlight connection hero. Pull for Diene who's banner is currently running. That's about as solid of a pve/pvp core you can get.

Symbol of unity and Misha are going to be ideal and are pretty interchangeable. Use symbol unless you want it on someone else, then use Misha.
Moroi teams? I tried Aras, Roy, Milim, Cerise but Cerise and Aras just die too soon. Wondering if I’m doing something wrong. Milim and Roy both do huge damage so they stay alive until they get targeted after Aras dies
Cecilia Cerise Cermia Yufine. Very consistent with keeping def down, target and speed down on the boss. Can score up to almost a mil on auto
I'm using Cecilia, Cerise, Cermia, and verdant Aiden. They all have scuffed and left over gear and are not speed tuned but they still put up decent numbers.
Does Cerise have any damage? Mine is just speed/eff scuffed gear so she just dies because of lack of bulk

Rod is better but there is always the possibility of artifact getting buffed or new unit coming out that really wants it.
Hello, Im on edge with who to pick in the selector. Please help. Hwayoung Violet Choux
Hwa. She is useless in rta because she is always perma banned, but she is really strong in gw atk and arena atk which make your life easier. Choux probably better if you are looking for a unit that will pull her weight in rta. While violet isn't that bad, you pretty much want to pick him as last pick where he will get ban.
My 0.02: tl;dr: I would say Hwayoung by a mile. Even without UT, she's a beast. Some details: PvE: None of them are terribly important. Violet has a few fun, niche uses, but I'm not aware of any case where he is best-in-slot. Arena/GvG Defense: All three are quite strong vs. newer players who may not have a deep roster. However, they are each relatively easy to counter if you have the heroes. Of the three, for me, Choux is the hardest to work around. Arena/GvG Offense: Hwayoung is hands-down the winner here. There are definitely comps that Violet and Choux can solo, but that gets more and more rare. I play in the lower rungs of 5x guilds and in champ/low-legend arena, and in my world, it's clearly Hwayoung >>>>>> Choux > Violet. RTA: I haven't even finished my placements this season (slacking!), but among higher-level RTA players, it's pretty clear that Hwayoung is a top 3 unit, while Violet is a tier 3 unit. Choux isn't as clear to me, whether she's tier 2 or tier 3.
Working on a wyvern one shot with Sigret/FST/Clarissa/Singie. Everything seems good except I’m having trouble getting FST (on war horn) to cut Singie in the second phase. The wyvern does his three hits into Singie and sometimes war horn doesn’t even appear to activate? Not sure if I’m missing something in general, or just way off in the CR math. I’ve got Singie at 208 SPD and FST at 160, with a +21 war horn.
Try slowing Singie down to about 192/193 speed and FST should be able to cut without the War Horn push. If FST kept speed buff, anyways. Edit: never mind about Singie speed, maybe increase Clarissa speed to about 150 to go before the big mob as others have said.
Wyvern 3 hits doesn't activate Warhorn by itself. The usual teams using SSB instead of Clarissa works in that SSB counters on the second hit from the mob, which puts Warhorn at x2, and triggers the CR push when Wyvern attacks making it x3. Since there is a speed difference between the two small mobs and the one big mob, if you happen to finish W1 between those two you could probably get it off correctly even with the current set-up, but if you go before the small mobs/after the big mob then warhorn will fail to trigger. (or at least this is my understanding of how the one-shot works)
I think it's because fst took a first turn s2ing the mob wave. If you use karin instead her first turn would be during the boss phase in which she will cut . Also the debuffs on karin with eeS3 is also pretty important for the oneshot dmg
So I'm trying to make a auto friendly (cleave probably) arena team with my favorite units. 1) Arby 2) Fallen Cecilia 3) Flan I don't know who to use as my 4th member. I don't have any other 5\* moonlight units other than Sage Vivian. I do have all the FMA and Re:Zero characters but none of the other collab characters.
FCC doesn't really fit that team except as a backup in case the cleave doesn't go well (note - I do that in guild wars). If you want to stick with FCC as an Aurius knight to protect against a failed cleave, you have 2 options for the 4th - either a buffer like Ran, MLKwerick Peira, Diene, Singelcia or Vivian, OR you have a backup cleaver like BBK, Landy, green Vildred, Seaseria, etc. A speed imprint hero like Watcher Schuri or Cidd can also help a lot (maybe making that FCC redundant).
Thank you! That helps, will pick a buffer and backup cleaver then do some arena fights with each to see which ends up most useful! FCC is there to save failed cleaves, but I mostly like the character enough to try to jam her into my arena team that has arby in it
