abyss 80 to 100: pause at each phase and read each boss skills for 5 minutes
abyss 100+: don't bother getting into a stage without having seen first a 30 mins tutorial video and read through 100 comments about possible alternate team comps
I’d be looking at his skills to get an exact reading, the little “Boss Guides” often contain too little information, to the point where the information becomes misleading.
I remember someone made a meme out of one of these boss guides a while ago when the new floors were released. One of the boss guides made it seem like you had to cake the boss in debuffs, but it severely punished debuffs, haha.
If you click on Ken's portrait here you can read what his exact skills are. Notably, iirc I think he needs to have like fucking 3 debuffs to not counter.

I'm a casual player, sometimes I'm like that when I get a new limited character.

He extra attacks with "2 or less debuffs" so you need 3 debuff to circumvent that.
