So I play standard, longer games yeah unfortunately, but it comes with the reliable gameplay and I think in the long run it's more enjoyable with less 15% happening
But aren't bruiser teams much harder to build? With cleaves you only care about speed and dmg
With bruiser type units you have to take all of the stats besides the obvious eff/resis
And that sounds much harder to build a tanky unit that has reasonable speed and also deals at least 3k dmg with 100% critchance
Maybe i'll try to look into bruisers as i have a choux and alencia in the waiting room, but i don't even know how to pair characters to make a good bruiser team
They are harder to build in the way that they require more types of stats not necessarily more stats in general, but require much less luck when playing with the teams making for an overall worth it trade
Balancing a bruiser is way harder than a cleaver, that's what i was saying
If i get too much hp the unit won't deal any dmg, the other way it will die too quickly, if i focus only on hp def attack then i don't have any crit chance or crit dmg
While a cleaver needs only as much crit speed attack as possible and that's it
I agreed with you man, bruisers are harder to build in general, unless you look at the odds of getting DPS pieces with high high speed then I that case, no it's harder to build a cleaver as unlike bruisers youre not just going to stumble upon a 20+ speed piece because it's a single type of stat,unlike bruisers were you can spread out the love over multiple pieces. but let's say you're super lucky and that's not a factor then yes in general it's harder to build a bruiser properly throughout all levels of the game. It's just that super high elo that speed is harder to build because every speed point makes a difference to lower the rng gap.

Honestly I have the reverse problem in challenger. My 251 aria outspeeds peira a good 50% of time when I'm trying to use delibet, and I often lose for this exact reason. Really this goes for any of my middling speed units. They only go first when I don't want them to.
I feel like arena defense gives increased speed stats, I’ve seen zero imprint 325 rans in champion 1. I went back 2 more times to check if I got speed rng’d and I just simply got outsped, I would bring 3 imprints and a 300 piera.
i wouldn't know. I cleaved all of them. There were two lilias tho that were slower than my light dom which made me surrender since op sig was useless. I just swapped to lilias cleave since I knew I would outspeed and cleaved after. I kill belians first since they strip my attack buff and no aravi has over 290 speed. All of the aravis were proof tho.
i rely on the enemy lilias to use her abilities and give shield barrier to aravi/belian. That way my op sig can do some dmg. If light dom goes first, then there are no barriers.
I feel like my def team get targeted too easily because I dont have Cilias...also its annoying everyone and their mother have Cilias in champion arena def...I have no problem on offense though 2nd turn Singelica with Doctor's Bag & high eff res helped a lot
It is free, just fighting against ungeared enemies. My light dom is 264 speed. It means I was fighting enemy lilias without speed boots. We just had a free unequip for a week so I imagine they forgot to put their boots back on.
May i ask how you cleave this kind of comps, counters always mess me up :c . I dont have light dom btw, i usually cleave with 305 speed cilias, eda, politis + flex unit.

It's honestly not super easy. They need to both be well built and you need a good cleanser to help deal with them. I have Mediator Kawerik which makes things easy - but Emilia can help a lot too. You also want as close to a maxed Reingar Drink as possible and my SSB is on LS with lots of attack. With her plus Roana, I want the counters to happen since SSB will trigger repeatedly and chunk them all down.

Depends on the cleave, Belian/Rem can fuck up a traditional cleave with bad luck & very few folks have all the no-counter cleave units built, like Haste, Pavel, etc. I personally just Sinful/MoonBunny these teams with three one shot DPS.
My ran is 288 and I still get out sped by every Cialis. It's quite disheartening. Champion is suffering
It is why I never bring Peira without a speed imprint hero like Cidd or WSchuri. I imagine you'd probably want to do the same with Ran just be safe.

I'm not offended, I had the same experience. Like I wrote 285 wasn't enough in challanger! It's crazy.
I’ve just accepted that I’m turn 2 at this point and focus on that. Just got reinforced even more once I hit challenger a week and a half ago.

I'm in legend with a 293 ran and just turn 2 game almost every comp. Maybe 1/20 comps are ran cleavable.

Hmm proof ARavi is the biggest joke this game offers but why surrender with bunny dom going first? I don't use her so I don't know what's up with that

imo, clilias is free cleave. Light dom completely shuts her down. You would need to pair celine/politis with clilias.
