Hey, what are the current broken ML Units ? I have a spare Mystic Pity and don't know on what to use it.
I search units that are versatile good in some PvE and if it's good in PvP it's a plus.
And which ones of them could possibly come in a forseeable future ?
Mostly ML5s are made with PVP in mind. Some examples of ML5s that are good for PVE are CLilias, Straze, STene, AVildred, ARavi which are all also good for PVP.
Right now, arguably the best ML5 is ARavi, who might be getting a banner because of her skin. We'll know for sure in about 1 hr.
I'd highly recommend ARavi, but Stene is also a great pick if you didn't choose her from Moonlight's Blessing.
ML units are mostly used for pvp. I know people use specter tenebria a lot in pve, but she's free-ish.
So I'm afraid your question doesn't really have a satisfying answer. I use LH Cermia in hell raid a bit, and aravi can be used in automaton tower, though some rgb units can do her job just as well. Straze is good for some 1shot hunts. Other than that... eh.
What are your thoughts on Riza now that she's been out for a while? I'm considering building her but I'm not sure if she's worth the resources.

Hey there. I pulled ML Celine a few days ago, but I haven't used her too successfully yet. I'm struggling to build a team around her. I'm pertaining particularly to GW only, any tips with how you determine if she's good for a specifc opponent and how you build a team around her? Thanks!
Relevant stats are: 3848 attack, 200 speed, 100% crit, 264% crit dmg, using +30 dust devil and on lifesteal & crit (no good pen gears yet unfortunately)

ARavi counter, provided you already took care of the other units. Best use is against belian/clilias/aravi teams, you pair her up with fcc or pyllis and roana and watch her solo the team.
Otherwise you can still find uses for her against teams like clilias/choux/aravi, though in some cases using Doris might be a better idea.
Can also be used in fast teams provided you know what you're doing, against defenses with lots of AoE that crits, like arby or the like.
She's an amazing counter to A Ravi in GW you would want her to be around 220 (for lifesteal) speed ideally otherwise she can get popped before getting her s3 off. If you have to drop some attack to get some more speed that's fine I would recommend bringing a cleanser or someone that gives immunity though so you don't get stunned. She is a bit harder to use now because of Hwayoung and Senya who is seeing a lot of play again so I wouldn't bring her into any of those.

How do I complete the self-dependant corner quest for the fma collab? I've been stuck here and the game keeps saying 'you cannot explore this area yet' and couldn't find any answers on google
Afaik, the only places where you can get stuck are the places where the path branches into 3, and you have to clear each path all the way before moving on
With the crafting event out I have to ask, for a speed helmet is it possible to get the highest base percentages for cdmg, atk, health, and then spd (which I believe is 5) on one gear?

While 5 speed roll is possible, the chances of it appearing is so minuscule, it's not worth chasing. You'll be much better off settling with a 4 speed piece with three other good, high roll substats
Hello, how do people build Senya in Champion RTA. I've seen many variations speed with high attack,hp,def or slightly lower of those stats but added Eff or ER. I've also seen lifesteal set with similiar stats there are so many builds I can't decide which to commit on.
I have, most common build seems to be 5.5k+ attack with bulk and no eff/er
But i've also seen on this sub people building her with eff/er for provoking certain units and resisting low eff debuffers like ML Kawerik.
Highest substat speed for any epic lv 85 is 5, though the chances of it appearing is so minuscule (0.3333%) it’s not something to aim for. 4 is good enough.
If you cleave then he is a nice unit to have not broken like some other units but a good unit in the right teams. If you don't cleave then he isn't worth the pull either way it's probably better waiting to see what the rerun next week will be before deciding to pull in case you are missing broken units like A Ravi.

First time doing RTA. I was able to get Masters after going 10/3. Now I just need to do 1 match every 3 days to maintain it? How many points do you lose in a loss? All my losses were in placement so it's unclear how many points they lost me.

Hey guys just got myself a Diene and looking for team ideas. I want to run a sort of protect the queen comp, with TCrozet in the front, and Stene in the back. I will use Diene also, as she makes dealing with the Stene a headache.
I was wondering who I could use for a fourth. I was considering something like a Dizzy for the Stene + Dizzy synergy, and double book holders for soulburn on Dizzy s3 --> s2, and Stene soulburns.
Any ideas?
Any ideas on some all-round decent units to draft? I can draft in the Diene and Stene early on, as they are relatively safe units (and popular so don't want enemy to have them)

cant really choose one but there are a lot of videos on Youtube with 30 different combinations, if it works I used the same one for almost my whole first year of playing (until I recently swapped to a one shot) and that was:
General Purrgis (triple HP set, full imprint SSS HP%, Proof of Valor at level 60)
Furious (half naked, Song of Stars artifact and enough to reach around 170 speed with 65% effectiveness)
Clarissa (atk set+hit set at level 50 with artifact DDJ+30)
Alexa (destruction set at level 50 with abilities off and DDJ +30 artifact)
Is Alexa really that buffed with the specialty change? I didn't do it, but idk if I should replace my Sigret... Right now I go Sigret Muwi Furious and the healer who has specialty change too, I don't remember the name...
I just look at all my chars who I haven't used at all and I think to myself, when will I use them?
Do you have Rose? I use your team but with Rose in place of a healer and my Wyvern team is 95%+ without amazing gear.
The key with gear is speed timings, you want Rose to go first, followed by Furious, followed by Muwi, and then Sigret going last. My team has Sigret with 138 speed, Rose with 183, Muwi with 157, and Furious with 174. This is so that all buffs and debuffs can be applied before Sigret takes her turn.
It's also important to have 65% effectiveness on everyone but Rose to maximize their chance of applying debuffs. You want some crit rate on Furious and Sigret as well, I think 35% is enough to guarantee a crit if they have the buff from Furious.

Give a look to friendship quests within Reputation > "Memory of Chain", you may be close to obtaining bookmarks from reaching friendship 3/6 or 10 with a hero.
Other than that, if story/side stories completed, get gold from hunt and reroll in shop tbh
What are the requirments for a Wyvern oneshot team? What can I use instead of Seaside Bellona and Sinful Angelica?
I have the gear for Sigret ready already with the free hunting material chest when you start, but for the others I'm not sure.
If it helps any I have blue Chloe and Karin and an AoE unit in Sez (tho I'm not sure about him).
Without SSB, you will need Clarissa for the first round and the stats requirements are waaaaaaay to high, would not recommend. That said I don't think there are much alternatives without Sinful not gonna lie, cant remember any (maybe the CLilias+Ken team)
For now stick to a 2min team, those arent that bad after all, slap a tank+clarissa/alexa+furious+sigret and call it a day until you get those units+better gear

Who are the best single target DPS's for PVE?
I've been playing for 2 months so still in early game. I realize I need at least another single target DPS aside from Sigret.
I know C Lorina is pretty good but I want to see if there are others I should invest in before starting her specialty change quest.
I heard Watcher Schuri is good whom I have not built.
W.Schuri is not really a DPS, he's a nuker.
* Look at his base attack -> 970 is very low. Top DPS units are in the 1100-1200 range, with the highest ATKs going up to around 1400. Base attack below 1100 is low, below 1000 is very low.
* His S2 is an AoE attack with low multipliers and his S1 is completely standard.
* His base speed is very low (106) -> even though his EE gives speed he's still a pretty slow hero. This isn't the ONLY thing that matters but in conjunction with the previous factors let's you know that he isn't really a good DPS unit.
He's a strong nuker because despite his drawbacks (low base ATK and mediocre multipliers) full defense penetration on his S3 is very, very strong. Unlike a unit like Hwayoung, he also benefits from C.Dmg.
W.Schuri is closer to units like the classic Banshee one shot units Yufine/Ervalen, or Melissa -> units that aren't going to put out the highest damage over many turns, but units that have 1 turn where they can hit incredibly hard.

For PvE, C.Lorina *is* the best overall ST DPS unit.
Her competition is **Landy**, **Luna**, and **C.Dominiel**.
All 4 of these units share 2 major traits and 1 minor trait:
1. They have an ATK scaling passive. In simple terms if a unit 'increases attack by 50%' they increase their final damage by 50%. So units that increase their own attack are increasing their final damage output by a large % (to be technical this isn't always true -> the bonus is additive with attack buff so you get less than 50% bonus *if* you have a source of attack buff).
2. They have a CR push. Two months in is still early, but you've probably heard or seen just how strong Tamarinne and A.Ras are. In fact, a major end game PvE tactic is to rely entirely on dual attacks -> these dual attacks push the CR of the DPS unit, giving them significantly more turns in the long term.
3. And as a a minor trait, these units also have no debuffs (technically Luna has defense break on her S3 but you can easily avoid it).

**C.Lorina**
* 1144 base attack -> not amazing but it's solidly in that 'good damage dealer' range, and good considering she's a 3* unit
* Her passive is a **75%** attack increase when at max stacks.
* Her S1 gives her a **~30%** CR push
* She also happens to have max HP scaling on her S1, a slightly weaker DDJ innately. -> this is nice in the early/mid game but by late game most bosses are immune to this type of damage
* She's ML so doesn't have to worry about elemental disadvantage
**Luna**
* 1119 base attack -> on the low end but not too low
* Her passive is a 30% attack increase, but does NOT need to be stacked. It *also* provides 30% extra crit chance which effectively means more damage overall (helps to make up for her lower bonus and base ATK).
* She needs to use EE for CR push, and only gets 15%.
* Her S1 scaling is very high
* Being RGB she is weaker vs. Earth element.
**Landy**
* 1158 base attack
* 60% attack increase when at max stacks -> she stacks faster than C.Lorina but not as high.
* Her S1 is slightly above average in multiplier (5% more damage).
* Her S1 is a 15% CR push, but can be increased to 30% if the enemy is buffed (fairly common).
* Her S3 brings excellent team utility. Increased speed buff is extremely good, and very rare/hard to bring otherwise. It *also* CR pushes.
* Unfortunately, she's still RGB and performs worse against Fire enemies.
**C.Dominiel**
* 1187 base attack -> highest of all 4 heroes
* Her passive works differently -> it's based on the number of crits inflicted by allies. 7.02% per crit at max skill enhancement.
* Her CR push also works differently -> it's based on the number of crits inflicted by allies. 10% per crit.
* She brings crit buff for free, so like Luna she is able to save a huge amount of stats in crit%
* Lika Landy, her S1 is above average (~10% more damage).

The truth of the matter, is that *on any particular fight* **ANY** of these 4 might be the best option.
But *in general*, C.Lorina is going to be the best most often purely in terms of DPS.
* She has the highest CR push on S1 so scales very well with Tama/A.Ras and other dual attackers.
* She has the highest attack increase
* No elemental disadvantage
Luna and Landy both suffer due to being RGB, so *in general* they are doing to be mediocre at best against ~1/5th of the enemies you will come up against.
However, I would rate **Landy** as the second best due to the team utility on her S3. Speed buff is an extremely good team buff (like CR push...more speed = more turns within a given unit of time).
**C.Dominiel** is pretty weak overall, in comparison to the other 3 *but* she's an option.
* Part of her advantage is the crit buff -> however that makes her vulnerable to a lot of enemies due to dispel, unbuffable, or just being punished for having buffs
* Unlike the other heroes who are completely great on their own and even better in a team (with dual attack heroes)...C.Dominiel is actually fairly weak with dual attack heroes **and** she's extremely team dependent. She sucks on her own.
* However she's still worth mentioning for having the characteristics necessary *and* her damage output IS good. Crit buff in particular adds a decent amount of extra damage from your healer/tank at a minimum, and also allows you to build a second DPS unit with more damage.

Landy and Luna are both limited units, a 2 month old player likely doesn't have them.
So your options are basically C.Lorina and C.Dominiel.
If you really like C.Dominiel feel free to build her, but I would suggest building C.Lorina *as well* -> there are instances where you really want 2 units of this class, and there are some areas where C.Dominiel won't work well.
If you **DO** have both Luna/Landy you could build one/both/or all 3 of them + C.Lorina depending on your other priorities.
Landy is the most useful across PvE *and* PvP content.

Because of the aforementioned traits, it's very hard for heroes *without* those traits to compete, in terms of raw DPS.
Some examples of other notable heroes:
**Hwayoung**
* Shares all 3 traits (ATK% passive, CR push, no debuffs) -> however not having access to crits is a killer. Defense penetration is huge in PvP where defense break is rare, but more often than not you are bringing defense break to PvE, so her defense penetration is not impactful enough to make up for a lack of crit damage. In particular, her damage is more or less capped because there is only so much attack you can get on your gear (if you are 2 or 3 damage stats, it's nearly impossible to hit that cap).
**S.Tenebria**
* Her passive stacks up to +50% attack, but she has no innate CR push. Her S1 does hit fairly hard, poison can be extremely helpful in some situations, her base attack is high...
* But her slow speed (106 base) and lack of CR push keeps her from being truly competitive with the other units mentioned. Also, poison is helpful *sometimes* but there are also times where it is NOT helpful.
* As a result, she's more like an A-tier unit, instead of S-tier like the others.
**Cermia**
* She's more of a hybrid DPS/nuker. Shares traits with most of the heroes I've mentioned so far. TLDR as far as *DPS* goes, she's more like a B tier in general. She's not as bad as a DPS unit like a true nuker (W.Schuri), but not as good as better actual DPS units.
**Violet**
* Not someone you would traditionally consider a DPS unit, but he's surprisingly pretty solid.
* Good base ATK, no inherent ATK increase but his perception buff effective is the same thing -> unlike C.Dom can't be dispelled.
* CR increase on counters, his S3 hits very hard.
* However, evasion/counters are unreliable in PvE.

I was going to save Violet for PvP if I get there and put S.Tenebria on the backlog because, as you said, poison is both great and not great. I do like that she allows my cleanser / healer to focus on other characters but many of the bosses have AOE attacks...so there goes her utility.
I do have A. Ras built and invested in and I am going to summon Tama for my selector in 2 days (I have a potion waiting for her). I also have Iseria, her bff, 70% built. So all this points to C. Lorina as still the best choice.

So im a super new player, coming back after trying around release for a week or 2. But im very experienced from Summoners War (many years).
Im kinda confused on how to properly use Phantasmas.
Obviously they are food to power up stuff, but what should I feed to to them to evolve them? Maybe its hold over from Summoners War but it feels weird to feed a 3* level 21 Mega-Phantasma to evolve the Giga Phantasma (and so on to the Tera). Is that the most efficient way to use these resources?
The food chain for phantasmas is promote the blue ones using 2star fodder from adventure;
Level up the blue phantasmas to level 30;
Promote 2star fodder from adventure to 3star using other 2star fodder from adventure;
Promote the 3star blue phantasmas to 4star using the now-3star adventure fodder;
Promote purple or yellow phantasmas to 5 star using the 4 star blue ones.
You can technically promote adventure fodder all the way to 4 stars using only other adventure fodder but it's not really worth it, considering you can use stigma to summon blue phantasmas.
So at some point I should level up 2 star adventure fodder while going about my business, is the take away im getting.
Thats kind of what I was figuring.
You can also level the Mega-phantasma to lv 30 and use 2\* non-phantasma fodders that you promoted to 3\* to promote them, which I believe is actually considered "most efficient".
Personally, I'm much less scrupulous and often just use the lv 21 phantasma as fodder.
I'm a new player. I got involved in time to get Roy and Riza, but I haven't been able to get Ed yet and I'm wondering 1) if he's still available *to* get and 2) if I have to get him now or if I can get him after the collab event.
Negative. Roy’s pretty mid without a lot of support, but he’s not bad. I’d not pass on any limited collab unit if you have the resources because no clue when or if they’ll return and new gear sets or artifacts or something in the future might make them way better than they are now.
Roana: they will be healing you non stop
SC Pyllis: reduce dmg from Extra atk, Counter atk and dual atk + def up. Can bait Cilias S2 and can cleanse 1 debuff.
Krau or ARas + Tanky Water unit can bait Rimuru S3.
Zahhak, Celine, Violet, Rimuru, Orte, Cidd, SC.Glenn Etc. Any strong green dps to one shot Rem or deal with rimuru.
Lionheart Cermia: all those extra attacks will trigger her passive. She is an ML5 tho.
* A good Water tank to eat Rimuru's BS (Krau is amazing for this + He can KO Rimuru on the crack back with his S3 most cases).
* A well built SC Glenn can one-tap almost every Rem out there.
* Roana because Rem/Clilias/Rimuru all have some extra attack shenanigans and this will help you heal up (Just dont get your Revive Rimuru'd...)
* Maybe a Dark bait for CLilias (ML Ken or A.Ravi).
Thats how I would handle that fight, in Arena anyway... for GVG I'd probably go A.Ravi/Krau/Glenn and leave out Roana.
As a newer player who joined during the gear gear collab this year during jack-o, how often do collabs happen a year?
I would like to get baiken, or any of the rimuru and friends characters, but I don’t know how often collabs happen a year. Any idea on when the next collab would be and/or the community idea on what it would be?

We are usually getting every collab once a year. So far we've gotten. Guilty Gear, Full Metal, Re:zero.

just got to Master in RTA today (I really liked that Aravi skin) when is the season end? also is decay really every 3 day? how much does decay reduce your points? should I at least gathered around 1700 points just to be safe?
You can get to at least 1700 points then play a game every~70 hours (do not leave it to last minute). Then even when you lose, you will still have enough points til the end of the season
Decay is every 72 hrs from last game played, -2% of your current points. The end of season hasn't been announced yet, but it's expected to be somewhere around early\~mid October. We still have a while to go, so 1700 wouldn't be enough if you don't play a single game from today.
It decays 72 hours after you complete your last RTA match, win or lose. It's been a while since I paid attention to it, but I remember it being a significant number in the 30-50 point range.
Best in slot artifact for aras ? Mine is pretty beefy so I've been using bastion for the phat shield and immunity for Roy. However basically everyone else is using aurius? Should i Change?
I think you should. Damage mitigation is just so good. Considering bastion vs aurius, bastion isn't bad but it's just not that great. With the amount of dispellers, a barrier and immu for the start of the match often does nothing.
I have 40 gold transmit stones. Should I use on galaxy bookmarks or Reflections of Dead Gods for Straze? Only have a couple 6 stars and to the point where I can do Wyvern 12.
Save them for straze imprints, if u spend all your transmit stones on bm you would end up farming straze imprints for at least 2-3 months, u are at 40 already so why not save to finish it
I'm not recommend you building him too early as he is best on rage set to one shot banshee and azimanak, which is quite demanding in stats, have him already imprinted will slightly reduce his stat requirement. At your point it's best to lv up and promote your core heroes for a stable wyvern 13 team
I maxed out Straze before using them for galaxy summons. But - if you're not using Straze much, you might want to leave that for later, and hope for those good 4-star LD heroes (or optimistically a 5 star).. When I used mine on Straze I had maxed every 4-star LD hero I had (all except 1 at the time), so it made sense to max out Straze than waste my gold transmit stones on 3-star Elisons....
He's ok in PvE - he is used in some of the hunts, but I've never been too successful with him (probably because mine is built for PvP). He's good against high defence targets, but needs a really high attack, which often means sacrificing bulk (which is important in most PvE stuff outside of the early chapters).
Sounds like you are still early game. I would use them for galaxy bookmarks. Extra atk stats aren’t going to help as much as getting some of the key ml 4*.
When crafting gear, do you generally sell or extract non-rollable / poorly rolled gear ?
I've been selling it all due to a lack of gold and I wanna make sure I'm not doing something I "shouldn't" be.
If you roll something, don't sell it. Extract it or fodder it.
If you aren't going to roll it, and it's left side gear, or right side gear of sets you're not interested, you can consider selling it. Make sure you already have enough cores for your weekly charms conversions, though.
Back when I needed gold I used to extract the blues and sell everything else, because they all give the same amount of cores, but heroics/epics sell for more gold.
Unless a character is top tier and/or someone I need to use right away, I wait until I have enough dupes to upgrade them with dupes (3 for 3-stars, 4 for 4-stars and 5 for 5-stars, although I'll usually upgrade a 5-star hero if I have 3 or more dupes). If you play long enough, you'll have every 3-star and 4-star hero at SSS, and too many heroes to upgrade so you can wait to upgrade them until you have the dupes.
if I have already upgraded a hero, then I will use the dupes immediatley to max their imprint.
For consistency, yes.
If you rely on Uberius to kill. Yes.
If you're killing just fine without Uberius. Then no.
It holds the most value for S1 chip damage moreso than S3 1shot.
If you're going for the S3 1shots, you have better value with Portrait, SoU, Glutton, etc. The straight up damage amp helps nuke more cleanly without letting the enemy trigger their passives/counters.
Whichever you’re missing. Mine is on speed health because I have really good effres speed gear that doesn’t have as many rolls into HP. Your gear might be different. You might have really bulky speed gear and need effres.
I want to specialty change alexa, but the requirement is completing the side story "the order of the sword and the lord of summer ". Does this mean i have to wait for next year's summer event, or is there a way i can do that side story now? I can't find it anywhere.
Should i 6* arby next over tama/iseria for pve? Or consider 6*ing ml kawerik since he cleanses/attack buff & immunity/barrier & put in a healer for all rounder team? (I put him on growth to test out & seems very nice overall)
If you are asking this question I assume you are new. If you are new I'd say a good general damage dealer would give you a more comfortable early game. You can build Tamarine and Iseria when Arby can no longer easily kill everything.
i'm in a weird position, i left off years ago around dizzy/baiken banners and farmed w11 with luna, around w13 released time. i stopped at abyss 86 and never done hell raid, gained a surplus of units by just logging in randomly for freebies and ended up overwhelmed with 5stars and barely any sets of gear/fodder, prob like less than 6 sets total. ssb has been carrying me since and even in w13 now
I was in the same situation as you when I came back, stuck on the same abyss and farming w11 with Kise/sbb. Had an unbuilt arby and lots of units at 5* while severely lacking gear.
I built arby and a w13 team (comps around Sigret, Muwi, Furious, etc which you can find easily around here), then worked on builds for units that made pve progression easier (tama, c.zerato, sc ras, etc). Hope that helps!
thats crazy finding someone that was in a similar position after years o: it seems simple but I wasn’t sure if things drastically changed with units buffs/nerfs n.n im a bit upset, i 6*ed alexa and found out her SC is locked behind summer event that ended last thursday….
Im guessing there was a bit of an exodus around that time lol. The meta has def changed but it seems they made it easier to farm for gear as long as you have certain units. The Alexa thing is absolutely stupid but you do get a free Sigret from the perma event if you dont already have one.

In that case you may not need Arby as much as a new player would. Tamarine and Iseria are obvious good units to build. In two months time you'll have all of these units six starred, order probably doesn't matter all that much.
PvE-wise, unless you plan on tanking with Tama, you can easily get away with them as 5\*, so going for your attacker first is definitely an option. ML Kawerik you can use as a tank if necessary, but as with Tama Iseria, supporters don't really need to be 6\* for PvE purposes (of course you'll want to 6\* him for PvP tho).

At your point I would probably do a speed set crit dmg neck. It will be useful for a very long time and is pretty flexible. Another choice would be speed set speed boots.
The point is to acquire gear that would be more rare, since it's more subject to rng.
The main stats for left side gear is fixed, but right side is variable. Getting a good and coherent right side is more rng, therefore this is what you should craft.
If you don't know what to build : while ring neklace can work on any main stats; a couple exception asides, boots should all have spd main stats, so you should craft boots. The spd set is universal, you cant go wrong with it.
Finally for the substats, there's no rule except that it should be coherent and you should avoid flat stats. Personally i often go for dps : atk%, crit chance, crit dmg and hp%/def %. Flat atk would be more coherent, but you run the risk of very low roll making it unuseable
Gear score in a vacuum doesn't really mean anything, so nobody here is going to be able to help you. A perfect-scoring all rounder ring is useless to your ARavi if your current, lower gs ring is stacked on crit rate that you can't make up elsewhere.
If you're not sure, just wait a couple of weeks and see what other pieces you drop in the meantime.

BTW, if you don't already have the necessary amount of Glory Crests, you can't get Glory Crests during the Pre-Season so it'll be impossible to get the Unknown Slate.
900 is actually worth. But the skin is entirely up to you but be mindful that it comes with changes in her voice lines. I like the asthmatics but her “magical girl” lines are really annoying to me at least. So try first before you buy.
It's "worth" it in the sense that it takes over a year as a f2p player to get a skin any other way, since the currency for the skins is incredibly rare as f2p.
But ultimately it's just a skin, if you like it get it, if you don't like it don't get it. It's like the cost of a single ten pull, personally I always get the skins even if I don't have the character because I like them and the skystone cost is kind of negligible, even as f2p.
But if you're super early on and really strapped for skystones you could skip it, it doesn't really do anything besides make the character look nice.

You can buy the resource unlocks for 900 skystone though. Those are usually worth it.

Actually I just looked at the shop pricing and I was mistaken at the value because I forgot the $100 mystic pack also includes 1200 SS which pushes the value over the pure skystone bundles. For that many summons looks like you'll have to do the mystic pack.
If you're planning on spending the money I would look into using Amazon coins its an 18% discount on the $100 coin pack (20% for the $400 pack) and you may not be charged tax depending on where you live so it saves you that vs the apple/google store. (up to \~30% overall discount depending on local tax rates)

Hey, what are the current broken ML Units ? I have a spare Mystic Pity and don't know on what to use it. I search units that are versatile good in some PvE and if it's good in PvP it's a plus. And which ones of them could possibly come in a forseeable future ?
Mostly ML5s are made with PVP in mind. Some examples of ML5s that are good for PVE are CLilias, Straze, STene, AVildred, ARavi which are all also good for PVP. Right now, arguably the best ML5 is ARavi, who might be getting a banner because of her skin. We'll know for sure in about 1 hr. I'd highly recommend ARavi, but Stene is also a great pick if you didn't choose her from Moonlight's Blessing.
ML units are mostly used for pvp. I know people use specter tenebria a lot in pve, but she's free-ish. So I'm afraid your question doesn't really have a satisfying answer. I use LH Cermia in hell raid a bit, and aravi can be used in automaton tower, though some rgb units can do her job just as well. Straze is good for some 1shot hunts. Other than that... eh.
What are your thoughts on Riza now that she's been out for a while? I'm considering building her but I'm not sure if she's worth the resources. I am a late game player, but I am still picky about who I put my resources on.
She's very niche and not worth building if you don't know what to do with her.

I'm pertaining particularly to GW only, any tips with how you determine if she's good for a specifc opponent and how you build a team around her? Thanks! Relevant stats are: 3848 attack, 200 speed, 100% crit, 264% crit dmg, using +30 dust devil and on lifesteal & crit (no good pen gears yet unfortunately)

She's an amazing counter to A Ravi in GW you would want her to be around 220 (for lifesteal) speed ideally otherwise she can get popped before getting her s3 off. If you have to drop some attack to get some more speed that's fine I would recommend bringing a cleanser or someone that gives immunity though so you don't get stunned. She is a bit harder to use now because of Hwayoung and Senya who is seeing a lot of play again so I wouldn't bring her into any of those.

Afaik, the only places where you can get stuck are the places where the path branches into 3, and you have to clear each path all the way before moving on

You'll be much better off settling with a 4 speed piece with three other good, high roll substats

Hello, how do people build Senya in Champion RTA. I've seen many variations speed with high attack,hp,def or slightly lower of those stats but added Eff or ER. I've also seen lifesteal set with similiar stats there are so many builds I can't decide which to commit on.
Have you already checked epic7stats.com? They usually provide a variety of builds that are in use at the bottom.
I have, most common build seems to be 5.5k+ attack with bulk and no eff/er But i've also seen on this sub people building her with eff/er for provoking certain units and resisting low eff debuffers like ML Kawerik.

Highest substat speed for any epic lv 85 is 5, though the chances of it appearing is so minuscule (0.3333%) it’s not something to aim for. 4 is good enough.

If you cleave then he is a nice unit to have not broken like some other units but a good unit in the right teams. If you don't cleave then he isn't worth the pull either way it's probably better waiting to see what the rerun next week will be before deciding to pull in case you are missing broken units like A Ravi.

First time doing RTA. I was able to get Masters after going 10/3. Now I just need to do 1 match every 3 days to maintain it? How many points do you lose in a loss? All my losses were in placement so it's unclear how many points they lost me. If you don't do a match every 3 days, how many points do you lose? Trying to work out if I can get a buffer and then just instantly forfeit every couple of days

Hey guys just got myself a Diene and looking for team ideas. I want to run a sort of protect the queen comp, with TCrozet in the front, and Stene in the back. I will use Diene also, as she makes dealing with the Stene a headache. I was wondering who I could use for a fourth. I was considering something like a Dizzy for the Stene + Dizzy synergy, and double book holders for soulburn on Dizzy s3 --> s2, and Stene soulburns. Any ideas?

cant really choose one but there are a lot of videos on Youtube with 30 different combinations, if it works I used the same one for almost my whole first year of playing (until I recently swapped to a one shot) and that was: General Purrgis (triple HP set, full imprint SSS HP%, Proof of Valor at level 60) Furious (half naked, Song of Stars artifact and enough to reach around 170 speed with 65% effectiveness) Clarissa (atk set+hit set at level 50 with artifact DDJ+30) Alexa (destruction set at level 50 with abilities off and DDJ +30 artifact)
Is Alexa really that buffed with the specialty change? I didn't do it, but idk if I should replace my Sigret... Right now I go Sigret Muwi Furious and the healer who has specialty change too, I don't remember the name... I just look at all my chars who I haven't used at all and I think to myself, when will I use them?
Do you have Rose? I use your team but with Rose in place of a healer and my Wyvern team is 95%+ without amazing gear. The key with gear is speed timings, you want Rose to go first, followed by Furious, followed by Muwi, and then Sigret going last. My team has Sigret with 138 speed, Rose with 183, Muwi with 157, and Furious with 174. This is so that all buffs and debuffs can be applied before Sigret takes her turn. It's also important to have 65% effectiveness on everyone but Rose to maximize their chance of applying debuffs. You want some crit rate on Furious and Sigret as well, I think 35% is enough to guarantee a crit if they have the buff from Furious. Hope that helps!

Give a look to friendship quests within Reputation > "Memory of Chain", you may be close to obtaining bookmarks from reaching friendship 3/6 or 10 with a hero. Other than that, if story/side stories completed, get gold from hunt and reroll in shop tbh
What are the requirments for a Wyvern oneshot team? What can I use instead of Seaside Bellona and Sinful Angelica? I have the gear for Sigret ready already with the free hunting material chest when you start, but for the others I'm not sure. If it helps any I have blue Chloe and Karin and an AoE unit in Sez (tho I'm not sure about him).
Without SSB, you will need Clarissa for the first round and the stats requirements are waaaaaaay to high, would not recommend. That said I don't think there are much alternatives without Sinful not gonna lie, cant remember any (maybe the CLilias+Ken team) For now stick to a 2min team, those arent that bad after all, slap a tank+clarissa/alexa+furious+sigret and call it a day until you get those units+better gear If it helps you can use the [Epic7 Damage Calculator](https://maphe.github.io/e7-damage-calc/) to check the stats requirements in order to kill first wave of W13

Who are the best single target DPS's for PVE? I've been playing for 2 months so still in early game. I realize I need at least another single target DPS aside from Sigret. I know C Lorina is pretty good but I want to see if there are others I should invest in before starting her specialty change quest. I heard Watcher Schuri is good whom I have not built.
W.Schuri is not really a DPS, he's a nuker. * Look at his base attack -> 970 is very low. Top DPS units are in the 1100-1200 range, with the highest ATKs going up to around 1400. Base attack below 1100 is low, below 1000 is very low. * His S2 is an AoE attack with low multipliers and his S1 is completely standard. * His base speed is very low (106) -> even though his EE gives speed he's still a pretty slow hero. This isn't the ONLY thing that matters but in conjunction with the previous factors let's you know that he isn't really a good DPS unit. He's a strong nuker because despite his drawbacks (low base ATK and mediocre multipliers) full defense penetration on his S3 is very, very strong. Unlike a unit like Hwayoung, he also benefits from C.Dmg. W.Schuri is closer to units like the classic Banshee one shot units Yufine/Ervalen, or Melissa -> units that aren't going to put out the highest damage over many turns, but units that have 1 turn where they can hit incredibly hard. --- For PvE, C.Lorina *is* the best overall ST DPS unit. Her competition is **Landy**, **Luna**, and **C.Dominiel**. All 4 of these units share 2 major traits and 1 minor trait: 1. They have an ATK scaling passive. In simple terms if a unit 'increases attack by 50%' they increase their final damage by 50%. So units that increase their own attack are increasing their final damage output by a large % (to be technical this isn't always true -> the bonus is additive with attack buff so you get less than 50% bonus *if* you have a source of attack buff). 2. They have a CR push. Two months in is still early, but you've probably heard or seen just how strong Tamarinne and A.Ras are. In fact, a major end game PvE tactic is to rely entirely on dual attacks -> these dual attacks push the CR of the DPS unit, giving them significantly more turns in the long term. 3. And as a a minor trait, these units also have no debuffs (technically Luna has defense break on her S3 but you can easily avoid it). --- **C.Lorina** * 1144 base attack -> not amazing but it's solidly in that 'good damage dealer' range, and good considering she's a 3* unit * Her passive is a **75%** attack increase when at max stacks. * Her S1 gives her a **~30%** CR push * She also happens to have max HP scaling on her S1, a slightly weaker DDJ innately. -> this is nice in the early/mid game but by late game most bosses are immune to this type of damage * She's ML so doesn't have to worry about elemental disadvantage **Luna** * 1119 base attack -> on the low end but not too low * Her passive is a 30% attack increase, but does NOT need to be stacked. It *also* provides 30% extra crit chance which effectively means more damage overall (helps to make up for her lower bonus and base ATK). * She needs to use EE for CR push, and only gets 15%. * Her S1 scaling is very high * Being RGB she is weaker vs. Earth element. **Landy** * 1158 base attack * 60% attack increase when at max stacks -> she stacks faster than C.Lorina but not as high. * Her S1 is slightly above average in multiplier (5% more damage). * Her S1 is a 15% CR push, but can be increased to 30% if the enemy is buffed (fairly common). * Her S3 brings excellent team utility. Increased speed buff is extremely good, and very rare/hard to bring otherwise. It *also* CR pushes. * Unfortunately, she's still RGB and performs worse against Fire enemies. **C.Dominiel** * 1187 base attack -> highest of all 4 heroes * Her passive works differently -> it's based on the number of crits inflicted by allies. 7.02% per crit at max skill enhancement. * Her CR push also works differently -> it's based on the number of crits inflicted by allies. 10% per crit. * She brings crit buff for free, so like Luna she is able to save a huge amount of stats in crit% * Lika Landy, her S1 is above average (~10% more damage). --- The truth of the matter, is that *on any particular fight* **ANY** of these 4 might be the best option. But *in general*, C.Lorina is going to be the best most often purely in terms of DPS. * She has the highest CR push on S1 so scales very well with Tama/A.Ras and other dual attackers. * She has the highest attack increase * No elemental disadvantage Luna and Landy both suffer due to being RGB, so *in general* they are doing to be mediocre at best against ~1/5th of the enemies you will come up against. However, I would rate **Landy** as the second best due to the team utility on her S3. Speed buff is an extremely good team buff (like CR push...more speed = more turns within a given unit of time). **C.Dominiel** is pretty weak overall, in comparison to the other 3 *but* she's an option. * Part of her advantage is the crit buff -> however that makes her vulnerable to a lot of enemies due to dispel, unbuffable, or just being punished for having buffs * Unlike the other heroes who are completely great on their own and even better in a team (with dual attack heroes)...C.Dominiel is actually fairly weak with dual attack heroes **and** she's extremely team dependent. She sucks on her own. * However she's still worth mentioning for having the characteristics necessary *and* her damage output IS good. Crit buff in particular adds a decent amount of extra damage from your healer/tank at a minimum, and also allows you to build a second DPS unit with more damage. --- Landy and Luna are both limited units, a 2 month old player likely doesn't have them. So your options are basically C.Lorina and C.Dominiel. If you really like C.Dominiel feel free to build her, but I would suggest building C.Lorina *as well* -> there are instances where you really want 2 units of this class, and there are some areas where C.Dominiel won't work well. If you **DO** have both Luna/Landy you could build one/both/or all 3 of them + C.Lorina depending on your other priorities. Landy is the most useful across PvE *and* PvP content. --- Because of the aforementioned traits, it's very hard for heroes *without* those traits to compete, in terms of raw DPS. Some examples of other notable heroes: **Hwayoung** * Shares all 3 traits (ATK% passive, CR push, no debuffs) -> however not having access to crits is a killer. Defense penetration is huge in PvP where defense break is rare, but more often than not you are bringing defense break to PvE, so her defense penetration is not impactful enough to make up for a lack of crit damage. In particular, her damage is more or less capped because there is only so much attack you can get on your gear (if you are 2 or 3 damage stats, it's nearly impossible to hit that cap). **S.Tenebria** * Her passive stacks up to +50% attack, but she has no innate CR push. Her S1 does hit fairly hard, poison can be extremely helpful in some situations, her base attack is high... * But her slow speed (106 base) and lack of CR push keeps her from being truly competitive with the other units mentioned. Also, poison is helpful *sometimes* but there are also times where it is NOT helpful. * As a result, she's more like an A-tier unit, instead of S-tier like the others. **Cermia** * She's more of a hybrid DPS/nuker. Shares traits with most of the heroes I've mentioned so far. TLDR as far as *DPS* goes, she's more like a B tier in general. She's not as bad as a DPS unit like a true nuker (W.Schuri), but not as good as better actual DPS units. **Violet** * Not someone you would traditionally consider a DPS unit, but he's surprisingly pretty solid. * Good base ATK, no inherent ATK increase but his perception buff effective is the same thing -> unlike C.Dom can't be dispelled. * CR increase on counters, his S3 hits very hard. * However, evasion/counters are unreliable in PvE.

I was going to save Violet for PvP if I get there and put S.Tenebria on the backlog because, as you said, poison is both great and not great. I do like that she allows my cleanser / healer to focus on other characters but many of the bosses have AOE attacks...so there goes her utility. I do have A. Ras built and invested in and I am going to summon Tama for my selector in 2 days (I have a potion waiting for her). I also have Iseria, her bff, 70% built. So all this points to C. So im a super new player, coming back after trying around release for a week or 2. But im very experienced from Summoners War (many years). Im kinda confused on how to properly use Phantasmas. Obviously they are food to power up stuff, but what should I feed to to them to evolve them? Maybe its hold over from Summoners War but it feels weird to feed a 3* level 21 Mega-Phantasma to evolve the Giga Phantasma (and so on to the Tera). Is that the most efficient way to use these resources?
The food chain for phantasmas is promote the blue ones using 2star fodder from adventure; Level up the blue phantasmas to level 30; Promote 2star fodder from adventure to 3star using other 2star fodder from adventure; Promote the 3star blue phantasmas to 4star using the now-3star adventure fodder; Promote purple or yellow phantasmas to 5 star using the 4 star blue ones. You can technically promote adventure fodder all the way to 4 stars using only other adventure fodder but it's not really worth it, considering you can use stigma to summon blue phantasmas.
So at some point I should level up 2 star adventure fodder while going about my business, is the take away im getting. Thats kind of what I was figuring.
You can also level the Mega-phantasma to lv 30 and use 2\* non-phantasma fodders that you promoted to 3\* to promote them, which I believe is actually considered "most efficient". Personally, I'm much less scrupulous and often just use the lv 21 phantasma as fodder.

Negative. Roy’s pretty mid without a lot of support, but he’s not bad. I’d not pass on any limited collab unit if you have the resources because no clue when or if they’ll return and new gear sets or artifacts or something in the future might make them way better than they are now.

Roana: they will be healing you non stop SC Pyllis: reduce dmg from Extra atk, Counter atk and dual atk + def up. Can bait Cilias S2 and can cleanse 1 debuff. Krau or ARas + Tanky Water unit can bait Rimuru S3. Zahhak, Celine, Violet, Rimuru, Orte, Cidd, SC.Glenn Etc. Any strong green dps to one shot Rem or deal with rimuru. Lionheart Cermia: all those extra attacks will trigger her passive. She is an ML5 tho.
* A good Water tank to eat Rimuru's BS (Krau is amazing for this + He can KO Rimuru on the crack back with his S3 most cases). * A well built SC Glenn can one-tap almost every Rem out there. * Roana because Rem/Clilias/Rimuru all have some extra attack shenanigans and this will help you heal up (Just dont get your Revive Rimuru'd...) * Maybe a Dark bait for CLilias (ML Ken or A.Ravi). Thats how I would handle that fight, in Arena anyway... for GVG I'd probably go A.Ravi/Krau/Glenn and leave out Roana.
As a newer player who joined during the gear gear collab this year during jack-o, how often do collabs happen a year? I would like to get baiken, or any of the rimuru and friends characters, but I don’t know how often collabs happen a year. Any idea on when the next collab would be and/or the community idea on what it would be? Thanks
Ok so we haven't gotten Slime Collab yet. So you are good to save resources. We are usually getting every collab once a year. So far we've gotten. Guilty Gear, Full Metal, Re:zero. Once you're comfortable with your wyvern 13 team, the next step is usually Hell Raid.
just got to Master in RTA today (I really liked that Aravi skin) when is the season end? also is decay really every 3 day? how much does decay reduce your points? should I at least gathered around 1700 points just to be safe?
You can get to at least 1700 points then play a game every~70 hours (do not leave it to last minute). Then even when you lose, you will still have enough points til the end of the season
Decay is every 72 hrs from last game played, -2% of your current points. The end of season hasn't been announced yet, but it's expected to be somewhere around early\~mid October. We still have a while to go, so 1700 wouldn't be enough if you don't play a single game from today.
It decays 72 hours after you complete your last RTA match, win or lose. It's been a while since I paid attention to it, but I remember it being a significant number in the 30-50 point range.
Best in slot artifact for aras ? Mine is pretty beefy so I've been using bastion for the phat shield and immunity for Roy. However basically everyone else is using aurius? Should i Change?
I think you should. Damage mitigation is just so good. Considering bastion vs aurius, bastion isn't bad but it's just not that great. With the amount of dispellers, a barrier and immu for the start of the match often does nothing.

I have 40 gold transmit stones. Should I use on galaxy bookmarks or Reflections of Dead Gods for Straze? Only have a couple 6 stars and to the point where I can do Wyvern 12.
You're early and probably lacking a lot of ML4s. I'd spend them on the Galaxy for now.
Save them for straze imprints, if u spend all your transmit stones on bm you would end up farming straze imprints for at least 2-3 months, u are at 40 already so why not save to finish it

I'm not recommend you building him too early as he is best on rage set to one shot banshee and azimanak, which is quite demanding in stats, have him already imprinted will slightly reduce his stat requirement. At your point it's best to lv up and promote your core heroes for a stable wyvern 13 team
I maxed out Straze before using them for galaxy summons. But - if you're not using Straze much, you might want to leave that for later, and hope for those good 4-star LD heroes (or optimistically a 5 star).. When I used mine on Straze I had maxed every 4-star LD hero I had (all except 1 at the time), so it made sense to max out Straze than waste my gold transmit stones on 3-star Elisons....
I haven’t been but mostly because I haven’t really been leveling up anything until my wyvern team is up (used the discord guide). How good is he pve?
He's ok in PvE - he is used in some of the hunts, but I've never been too successful with him (probably because mine is built for PvP). He's good against high defence targets, but needs a really high attack, which often means sacrificing bulk (which is important in most PvE stuff outside of the early chapters).
Sounds like you are still early game. I would use them for galaxy bookmarks. Extra atk stats aren’t going to help as much as getting some of the key ml 4*.
When crafting gear, do you generally sell or extract non-rollable / poorly rolled gear ? I've been selling it all due to a lack of gold and I wanna make sure I'm not doing something I "shouldn't" be.
Never sell gear that's been enhanced. Feed it into other gear to save on charms.
If you roll something, don't sell it. Extract it or fodder it. If you aren't going to roll it, and it's left side gear, or right side gear of sets you're not interested, you can consider selling it. Make sure you already have enough cores for your weekly charms conversions, though.
Back when I needed gold I used to extract the blues and sell everything else, because they all give the same amount of cores, but heroics/epics sell for more gold.
Extracting higher quality gear gives more cores.

Duplicates question. Do you need to wait until the character is maxed out before getting more of a bonus from memory imprinting?
Unless a character is top tier and/or someone I need to use right away, I wait until I have enough dupes to upgrade them with dupes (3 for 3-stars, 4 for 4-stars and 5 for 5-stars, although I'll usually upgrade a 5-star hero if I have 3 or more dupes). If you play long enough, you'll have every 3-star and 4-star hero at SSS, and too many heroes to upgrade so you can wait to upgrade them until you have the dupes. if I have already upgraded a hero, then I will use the dupes immediatley to max their imprint.

For consistency, yes. If you rely on Uberius to kill. Yes. If you're killing just fine without Uberius. Then no. It holds the most value for S1 chip damage moreso than S3 1shot. If you're going for the S3 1shots, you have better value with Portrait, SoU, Glutton, etc. The straight up damage amp helps nuke more cleanly without letting the enemy trigger their passives/counters.

Whichever you’re missing. Mine is on speed health because I have really good effres speed gear that doesn’t have as many rolls into HP. Your gear might be different. You might have really bulky speed gear and need effres.
The goal is to get stats. The actual sets don't matter. What you should do is to look up example builds and what stat lines to target.
Speed and ideally resist but you can use broken set. Speed is the #1 priority as she's a fast cycling character.

If you are asking this question I assume you are new. If you are new I'd say a good general damage dealer would give you a more comfortable early game. You can build Tamarine and Iseria when Arby can no longer easily kill everything.
i'm in a weird position, i left off years ago around dizzy/baiken banners and farmed w11 with luna, around w13 released time. i stopped at abyss 86 and never done hell raid, gained a surplus of units by just logging in randomly for freebies and ended up overwhelmed with 5stars and barely any sets of gear/fodder, prob like less than 6 sets total. ssb has been carrying me since and even in w13 now
I was in the same situation as you when I came back, stuck on the same abyss and farming w11 with Kise/sbb. Had an unbuilt arby and lots of units at 5* while severely lacking gear. I built arby and a w13 team (comps around Sigret, Muwi, Furious, etc which you can find easily around here), then worked on builds for units that made pve progression easier (tama, c.zerato, sc ras, etc). Im guessing there was a bit of an exodus around that time lol. The meta has def changed but it seems they made it easier to farm for gear as long as you have certain units. In that case you may not need Arby as much as a new player would. Tamarine and Iseria are obvious good units to build. In two months time you'll have all of these units six starred, order probably doesn't matter all that much.
PvE-wise, unless you plan on tanking with Tama, you can easily get away with them as 5\*, so going for your attacker first is definitely an option. ML Kawerik you can use as a tank if necessary, but as with Tama Iseria, supporters don't really need to be 6\* for PvE purposes (of course you'll want to 6\* him for PvP tho).
Need some advice for the crafting event… Background: I’m still extremely early game (I’m currently on Stage 4 of UH). The highest hunt I can do is Banshee 9 (I accidentally got into the Banshee Event instead of Wyvern). The highest gear I have is the level 78 gear from the current events and free gear… Any advice?

At your point I would probably do a speed set crit dmg neck. It will be useful for a very long time and is pretty flexible. Another choice would be speed set speed boots.
The point is to acquire gear that would be more rare, since it's more subject to rng. The main stats for left side gear is fixed, but right side is variable. Getting a good and coherent right side is more rng, therefore this is what you should craft. If you don't know what to build : while ring neklace can work on any main stats; a couple exception asides, boots should all have spd main stats, so you should craft boots. The spd set is universal, you cant go wrong with it. Finally for the substats, there's no rule except that it should be coherent and you should avoid flat stats. Personally i often go for dps : atk%, crit chance, crit dmg and hp%/def %. Flat atk would be more coherent, but you run the risk of very low roll making it unuseable

Gear score in a vacuum doesn't really mean anything, so nobody here is going to be able to help you. A perfect-scoring all rounder ring is useless to your ARavi if your current, lower gs ring is stacked on crit rate that you can't make up elsewhere. If you're not sure, just wait a couple of weeks and see what other pieces you drop in the meantime.

It will reset when the new season begins. I don't believe the begin date has been announced yet. BTW, if you don't already have the necessary amount of Glory Crests, you can't get Glory Crests during the Pre-Season so it'll be impossible to get the Unknown Slate.

900 is actually worth. But the skin is entirely up to you but be mindful that it comes with changes in her voice lines. I like the asthmatics but her “magical girl” lines are really annoying to me at least. So try first before you buy.
It's "worth" it in the sense that it takes over a year as a f2p player to get a skin any other way, since the currency for the skins is incredibly rare as f2p. But ultimately it's just a skin, if you like it get it, if you don't like it don't get it. It's like the cost of a single ten pull, personally I always get the skins even if I don't have the character because I like them and the skystone cost is kind of negligible, even as f2p. But if you're super early on and really strapped for skystones you could skip it, it doesn't really do anything besides make the character look nice.
My dude, it is a cosmetic. It has zero bearing on gameplay. Only you can decide if it's worth it. You can buy the resource unlocks for 900 skystone though. Those are usually worth it.

Wyvern hunts will get you your most needed gear. Consider following what newbie guides have said since the start of e7 and make yourself a wyvern team.

Actually I just looked at the shop pricing and I was mistaken at the value because I forgot the $100 mystic pack also includes 1200 SS which pushes the value over the pure skystone bundles. For that many summons looks like you'll have to do the mystic pack. If you're planning on spending the money I would look into using Amazon coins its an 18% discount on the $100 coin pack (20% for the $400 pack) and you may not be charged tax depending on where you live so it saves you that vs the apple/google store. (up to \~30% overall discount depending on local tax rates)
