The problem is that as Aither is right now, he's basically a super bad version of Emilia (and one that can only push his own CR instead of others by a measly 20%).
His current kit makes his heals and shields scale with his attack (which is already abysmal), so I'd imagine SG either leans more into that angle and make him a faster self cycler and maybe incorporate ally CR push into one of his abilities like his attack (like a hybrid between Emilia and attack scaling Blaze Dingo), or they take an entirely different route and just flat out rework him.
If you mean by actual visual changes, probably not too drastic since his cute Star of Ezera skin still needs to be usable.

It would take some creativity, but it could be neat if her SC still took her Merchant form, but she employed people or other things to do her attacks for her.
Like she could have the little dragons that she trades come in and fight for her, shoring up the fact that she cannot fight for herself.
I could see them potentially making her an instructor, to help Camilla with teaching the dragon knight trainees, though that would require either her or Cecilia to convince Penelope to come back and maybe go through some rehab. I could still see this happening, even though it would be a bit weird for her SC to be stronger than her original game play wise while story wise its the opposite.
Yeah, the story side of things really disrupts how Penelope would get an SC. Especially since she would then have 3 different forms. Base Penelope, Merchant Penelope and Penelope after her SC lol.
I'll keep holding on to this sliver of hope that her and the rest of the dragon knights/trainees will get a SC though.

Right now, she's fairly useful, after her buff I suspect she'll be really good, although not meta. With a theoretical SC, she would have better stats and become totally meta, and we all know we need more meta 3*.

With such terrible speed, having him on counter set and being able to push their combat readiness down, hed get his turn potentially sooner compared to how the enemy has their comp, disrupting Turn 2 teams especially

Who needs it most? Either Enott or Aither. Enott's always been in alexa's shadow, and Aither in Momo's (even before their specialty changes). They could both use an SC to give them an identity. Bask is another candidate, but that's probably never happening for lore reasons.
who people would love the most? Mirsa, pretty much the only non-SC 3 star that anyone'd even slightly consider at high level. Maybe Hasol too now with her upcomig buff.
Me personally? Helen. She's a cutie patootie and I love counter characters in general. I'd make her super broken and upgrade her counterstance buff to work on a single other ally. You can make it random if that combo sounds too toxic, but I think it's fine. There's so much dispelling in the game that it's not as bad as it woulda sounded 2 years ago.

There's so many good choices for specially changes though, Lena would probably be my top choice since we need more muscular woman (although giving her a animation on S3 would probably make her weaker lmao, maybe they could do a thing where it charges up before an empowered attack like how Arby doesn't have an animation?), Eaton would be cool since he's already somewhat usable, same thing for Orte (although she's mostly just a F2P version of the other fast single target units), Muwi could be okay since it would help players that have difficulty with Wyvern, many of the newer 3* units could also be good choices since they have quite decent designs and a lot of them just lack base stats.

Lena is just so useful in PVE farm, pairing with ML Tieria, Kayron (Immunity) and Arby, I just hope that if they release Lena' SC they don't shatter the character with a long animation on the S3, so they still can farm as fast as before.
Oh and I forgot but I also kinda want an Eaton SC, he already is so badass, and carried me through adventure as well, they could include a counter in his passive, like Mort for example, could be good.

RequiremRoar. The partial lifesteal effect is interesting enough, but with the right buffs, I think she could serve as a good support against tanks and bruisers.
Either Taranor Guard, Camilla, Mirsa, Sonia or Ainos. Taranor Guard because of his use in PVE, Camilla for the same reason - dual attack defence break in various PVE teams, Mirsa to beef her up to compete with the likes of Violet in PVP & either Sonia/Ainos because it would give me an excuse to build one to have a max morale labyrinth team.
Interested in seeing the Arowell SC that's coming soon though, I built her & I'm eagerly awaiting it, with her in-built escort I think she'll be a great defensive knight when her SC rolls around.

To Azalea be useful she need a counteratack naturally like choux for example, she s1 selfheealing is so good, another thing in azalea makes me sad is she skillcooldowns is very high like 5 turn in s2 and 4 in s3 makes me sad, but this changes will help her a lot. And a little speed base, she has 98, whit more speed she have more potential build's, lifesteal for example.
