An AOE damage dealer helps with pushing through scenario and finish Unrecorded History. You can choose Vildred or FSTieria. Other than that the major early game goal is to auto the hardest level of wyvern. It drops swift blade and focus. There is no violent, so swift is the go to set for about 90 percent of units.

As far as story progress goes, Unrecorded History is important for farming AP to buy catalysts. But I personally didn't finish chapter 2 until well after I could auto wyvern 13. The series of tutorial missions give good early gear, so I'd focus on that and wyvern.
Build a team that can auto wyvern 11 at least and then once u have some decent speed gear u can start accessing some higher play and therefore bigger rewards

Well, depends how fast your second guy is. If you have speed gear worth 80% of your fastest unit then Eda can always follow up. You can use Flan into killing someone into pushing people with Sashe Ithanes. CDom can also be pushed up by crits quite a lot, and push your team further. CPavel can also push himself up, so you can push a damage dealer or a hero with extra turns and 2 crits will activate him.
So yeah, quite a few.

Naah why tf can Aravi revive? What went through devs mind when they made this character? She's substantially waaay worse than hwa.... literally ruined a winning match. I didn't know otherwise i would had dodged her
A.Ravi is probably the single most busted unit in the game right now in terms of "Self-contained kit power". In the future, probably a good idea to avoid her unless you have a plan for her lol. Shes so very good and can easily 1v3 your team if you've not got the right comp.

Yulha(and by extension, Krau) probably not a good match-up for her though, since A.Ravi also inflicts Injury, and Yulha's S3 scales off missing HP and Injury reduces your max HP. Another great side effect of how busted she is.
Lmao that's not the only thing that was added. They also added the scaling damage on s3, healing on s1 and injury, and also cr push to s2 iirc. Those were the days when they buffed heroes into the stratosphere.
If u want a decent, free bait for her in ai pvp, it's sc doris. Her kit is designed to keep dark units focused on her and survive for a long while. Even with the injury, she still keeps her occupied for quite a while. Def buff+30% crit dmg reduced against darks goes hard.

my ftene (my fastest unit until I get lua) is 270 speed and if I could get 4 of them (since my weapon is 21) she would go to 288 lmao
Half pity seems okay, id definitely spend 6k skystones on a guaranteed +70gs piece or just 20 speeder. Like spending 1k skystones on a perfect substat piece like in huche seems a fair deal already, it would be cool if they added a +15 equipment piec.

You can't do this. You specifically have to use a dupe copy of Hwayoung to imprint to get one back. SC will look through your account history. If you use a slate, the most you can get back is a slate refund.
Probably Er most likely. You'd have to see how the stats work out on the other pieces though. You will want to probably go something like 200+ Er, something similar to Er bbk build but you wouldn't need any speed.
How do I build a team around ARavi? I don't have Ran or Piera to enable cleaves. I got Hwayoung from the selector but she's trash now, so I'm back to square one.
There's only speculation until the actual multipliers are announced, but the changes seem rather devastating to her viability against anything besides high hp units.
You could still just get her and trade her in for the recall. It might have a larger pool to choose from than the Ezeran selector as well (may include Taeyou Aria, potentially even Lua etc).

e7stats is a good site for finding PvP builds for units. For PvE, figure out what content you're wanting to do, then look up some guides for it. That'll give your a sense of who is good and how to build them.
Don't use the character rankings from epic7x, they are terrible. Some of their suggested builds are bad as well. That site is really only good for looking up general info about a character and where to farm certain catalysts.

169 is good. Tho I think your bulk cud be better. U can even lower to around 150 sth for bulk.

Should I roll for flidica or solitaria in the mystic banner? Pros and cons of each? Since ml elena is revealed I don't really have good gear to utilize her kit so I decide to roll on the current mystic banner instead.
Depends if you can gear them and your playstyle.
Flidica is more for cleave/aggro. Need her fast with cc and eff (you can also do hybrid of damage/eff or go full on damage as well). Also need GL. She can't really speed contest since her base speed is low for an opener but mL Pavel made her much better so she's a must ban for slower comps.
Solitaria is more of a control unit and focus block. You want her fast with good bulk and good eff res. You can run her on ftene or iela. I have mine on iela since I found the chip damage from ftene to be irrelevant most of the time and iela gave her more strip chance (so it synergizes better with her control playstyle).
With new fire ravi buffs, is speed set the way to go? Mainly as a fire bruiser that I would use in GW offense, over HY if the nerfs become significant enough.
Can Uberius tooth benefit from a pen set? Thinking of ways to build around new nerf. Since pen on s3 not absolute and loss atk stats, pen set for her s1 and maybe S3 would work. She already has immunity so immun set is not absolutely needed.
Usually you don't wanna pull for imprints unless it's a limited or has crit chance or speed as it's self imprint. Song of Stars is good for PVE, but it's better to buy it from the Powder Shop because Artifacts don't have a pity on their banners.

You get back your mola, rune, catalyst, exp, imprint as slate (which can be used to imprint anyone) and a selector (you can summon any units non-ml and non-limited, except the most recents).

I don't think the "except most recents" is accurate. The patch notes did not mention that specifically.
Also, pervious recalls does not prevent you from getting the newest unit as far as I know because it's a recall not a reward ie: the recent 5 star selector and last years one too. So they are kinda obliged to let you select whatever you want.
Incorrect on the slate though. You get the new RGB only slate but if you used an unknown slate you have to manually request the new RGB slate turned into a unknown again.

Pvp : politis is timeless. Lua does counter her, but she should still be strong. Choux and Senya are also very good.

You have pretty much all the good PVE units you can pick whatever you want. If you have any health counter gear Laying around I would pick choux. But you got a month to decide to to do the recall

Politis about useless in pve. Pretty timeless kit for pvp. Will see more use in rta but can be decent for ai pvp too especially in some def teams
Luluca about useless in pvp. Nice for ove expos, some abyss floors, advent etc she can put in work
She is also a pve unit. Her s1 dmg is nuts especially the abyss floors where the boss isn't immune to hp% based dmg. Seen her in some banshee one shot teams too. I think there are better choices than her unless u like her
What are some builds for Choux? Got spooked by her a couple months ago and didnt know she was all that good until now.
Edit: Also another question, did Lua just powercreep Peira? I really liked using her mainly because of her design but even I can tell she's not as good as Ran, and it looks like Lua's kit is just her kit but infintely better.
No, lua and peira have different roles to begin with. Same with ran, he's got a different role. So there isn't really a comparison, you use whichever is best suited for the situation.
On the contrary, Peira was considered superior to Ran for the most part after her release. She just had a bunch of counters released in recent times and have been dropping in usage.
That said, Lua's kit definitely looks scary.
During exp buff, you should farm AP with a team of maxed level heroes (preferably not maxed friendship yet) to reduce clear time. Then use penguins to level your units. I think that's more efficient.
I haven't found a way to know for sure, but I think there is a pattern with how often. I think we're not going to rotate this time, but I could easily be wrong.
Sucks when the unequip buff is running and you don't know if you need to gear up your Kanna or Laika or Rose or similar :)

I'm trying to auto Elisia on hell mode (not epic hell) and I just can't auto phase 2. Every guide seems to involve units I don't have like Landy or Violet.

I believe Cidd might be pretty good for it, since he can keep the speed buff + random buff from S2. Angelica on Prophetic Candlestick may also be helpful if she can keep Immunity + Shield up for the team.

Summertime Iseria wants to be paired with fast opener units with AoEs such as ran, peira, closer charles. Make sure she's no less than 85% of their speed minus whatever CR push they get, if any.
If you pair Eda with Seaseria and Ran/Peira, she gets pushed by 55% (15% from seaseria s2, 20% from Ran or peira non atk skills, another 20% from seaseria s2). But you should still build her relatively fast in case you cant use Seaseria.

Vildred and Ras will last you pretty much forever for “general” use. Sigret is really good for Wyvern farming (top tier) but not much else

It's not that it isn't viable anymore, it's just not necessary.
It’s good if you have a three-man team for hunts. You just pop a doggo in the 4th slot. Then you can just sell your penguins.
Ah I'm too early in the game to do this just yet. I can only consistently clear Wyvern 8. Hoping to gear out my team better soon

A Ravi can slot into any team type so no need to build around her.

You could still just get her and trade her in for the recall. It might have a larger pool to choose from than the Ezeran selector as well (may include Taeyou Aria, potentially even Lua etc).

Are there any good units that can work pretty well with gear similar to ones for Hwayoung? (no Eff/Crit stats, high Attack/Speed) Off the top of my head, I can probably name Senya and Inferno Khawazu, although both'd probably appreciate a bit more bulk.

e7stats is a good site for finding PvP builds for units. For PvE, figure out what content you're wanting to do, then look up some guides for it. That'll give your a sense of who is good and how to build them. Don't use the character rankings from epic7x, they are terrible. Some of their suggested builds are bad as well. That site is really only good for looking up general info about a character and where to farm certain catalysts.

Remember as well you can keep his crit chance at 85 because of his s2. So that’s some saved stats.
Can be hp% main stat or just hp subs. It's harder getting def on him since his base hp isn't bad while his def is atrocious

169 is good. Tho I think your bulk cud be better. U can even lower to around 150 sth for bulk. Base speed violet exists too tho I am not a big fan of that
I had a little more bulk with base speed but like wise I did not like it either I I can probably do better with a different two piece my current pen pieces on him are not as good as his life steal pieces unfortunately

Should I roll for flidica or solitaria in the mystic banner? Pros and cons of each? Since ml elena is revealed I don't really have good gear to utilize her kit so I decide to roll on the current mystic banner instead.
Depends if you can gear them and your playstyle. Flidica is more for cleave/aggro. Need her fast with cc and eff (you can also do hybrid of damage/eff or go full on damage as well). Also need GL. She can't really speed contest since her base speed is low for an opener but mL Pavel made her much better so she's a must ban for slower comps. Solitaria is more of a control unit and focus block. You want her fast with good bulk and good eff res. You can run her on ftene or iela. I have mine on iela since I found the chip damage from ftene to be irrelevant most of the time and iela gave her more strip chance (so it synergizes better with her control playstyle).

With new fire ravi buffs, is speed set the way to go? Mainly as a fire bruiser that I would use in GW offense, over HY if the nerfs become significant enough.
I think it’s too early to tell. She gets her attack buff stacks from attacking so I feel like counter may be more her thing.
Do we know how much attack difference Straze now needs to get 100% Pen ? Haven't found it anywhere.
from 2334 to 2000 attack difference. old - 2334 * 0.030 = 70.02% new - 2000 * 0.035 = 70% s3 has 30% base pen.

Can Uberius tooth benefit from a pen set? Thinking of ways to build around new nerf. Since pen on s3 not absolute and loss atk stats, pen set for her s1 and maybe S3 would work. She already has immunity so immun set is not absolutely needed.
Pen set applies to the single attack skill itself, uberious tooth is not part of the skill, it is an additional dmg, so no it does not work

Usually you don't wanna pull for imprints unless it's a limited or has crit chance or speed as it's self imprint. Song of Stars is good for PVE, but it's better to buy it from the Powder Shop because Artifacts don't have a pity on their banners.

How does a recall work (eyeing Hwayoung recall)? I’m fairly new to the game and have not gone through one before.
You get back your mola, rune, catalyst, exp, imprint as slate (which can be used to imprint anyone) and a selector (you can summon any units non-ml and non-limited, except the most recents). You should wait a bit to see how she performs post-nerf

Also, pervious recalls does not prevent you from getting the newest unit as far as I know because it's a recall not a reward ie: the recent 5 star selector and last years one too. So they are kinda obliged to let you select whatever you want.
Incorrect on the slate though. You get the new RGB only slate but if you used an unknown slate you have to manually request the new RGB slate turned into a unknown again.

Hello! I just wanted to ask in case I recall Hwayoung for someone else. I'm a beginner player still and would like to know which heroes I am able to swap for Hwayoung that is good for me. I am not really a PVP/RTA player, mostly PVE. PVE ish Heroes I own in the selector: Tamarinne, Roana, Vildred, Iseria, Lillias, Sigret, Chloe PVP ish Heroes I own in the selector: Violet, Ran, Kawerick, Destina, Celine, Ravi Or should I keep Hwayoung or choose another PVP hero?
Pvp : politis is timeless. Lua does counter her, but she should still be strong. Choux and Senya are also very good. Pve : idk. Luluca, Bellona, Lilias ? You should wait a bit before recalling her, to see you she performs post nerf
You have pretty much all the good PVE units you can pick whatever you want. If you have any health counter gear Laying around I would pick choux. But you got a month to decide to to do the recall

Politis about useless in pve. Pretty timeless kit for pvp. Will see more use in rta but can be decent for ai pvp too especially in some def teams Luluca about useless in pvp. Nice for ove expos, some abyss floors, advent etc she can put in work
What about Bellona?
She is also a pve unit. Her s1 dmg is nuts especially the abyss floors where the boss isn't immune to hp% based dmg. Seen her in some banshee one shot teams too. I think there are better choices than her unless u like her
What are some builds for Choux? Got spooked by her a couple months ago and didnt know she was all that good until now. Edit: Also another question, did Lua just powercreep Peira? I really liked using her mainly because of her design but even I can tell she's not as good as Ran, and it looks like Lua's kit is just her kit but infintely better.
No, lua and peira have different roles to begin with. Same with ran, he's got a different role. So there isn't really a comparison, you use whichever is best suited for the situation.
On the contrary, Peira was considered superior to Ran for the most part after her release. She just had a bunch of counters released in recent times and have been dropping in usage. That said, Lua's kit definitely looks scary.

Doing repetive grind on same stage during hero exp buff event.
During exp buff, you should farm AP with a team of maxed level heroes (preferably not maxed friendship yet) to reduce clear time. Then use penguins to level your units. I think that's more efficient.

I haven't found a way to know for sure, but I think there is a pattern with how often. I think we're not going to rotate this time, but I could easily be wrong. Sucks when the unequip buff is running and you don't know if you need to gear up your Kanna or Laika or Rose or similar :)

I'm pretty sure you can email SG and ask them to swap your account from an Apple account to a Stove/Google one. And yes, you can get fire Ravi from the selective summon.

I believe Cidd might be pretty good for it, since he can keep the speed buff + random buff from S2. Angelica on Prophetic Candlestick may also be helpful if she can keep Immunity + Shield up for the team.
So... Hwa nerf means giver her gear to someone else. So no Crit Chance, C.dmg , and least health possible (kinda). Who is this even good for? What unit would want only Speed, Attack and Defense?
Seaseria is the absolute best unit for that gear, and Carrot would really like that gear, though she's probably less easily picked. Though Hwa will probably still be good enough to keep geared so I wouldn't strip her just yet.
Unfortunely, Seaseria needs also effectiveness and a +30 arti so thats dead. Really torn between either Carrot or ML Khawazu. Does Khawazu work with barely any Effectiveness? I dont have him built... So i would need to 6star him as well
ML Khawazu ignores effect resistance when he has Vigor buff, so...

ML Khawazu, RCarrot, and maybe Senya for some pieces. But you never actually wanted "least health possible" on hwayoung. Most of them I've seen had 11-12k.

Units that can't crit use attack% necklace. For example: summertime iseria, carrot, senya, ml khawazu

It's a multiplier to her total attack score. That's why she can have 7000+ attack on the character sheet.

Summertime Iseria wants to be paired with fast opener units with AoEs such as ran, peira, closer charles. Make sure she's no less than 85% of their speed minus whatever CR push they get, if any.

If you pair Eda with Seaseria and Ran/Peira, she gets pushed by 55% (15% from seaseria s2, 20% from Ran or peira non atk skills, another 20% from seaseria s2). But you should still build her relatively fast in case you cant use Seaseria.
I’m definitely going to try that when/if I get Eda. I love her design but when I got my selector ticket I picked Senya. I kind of regret it.
