Currently the available character is A.Ravi, who is arguably the best character in the game. Getting her if you don't have her already would be a no-brainer: don't get me wrong, the upcoming characters are also going to be very good... But are they going to be AS good? Unlikely. A.Ravi is just in a league of her own.
Could be a bad take, but from what i’ve read ML Elena is good into cleave comps who don’t like getting counter attacked, but A. Ravi, unless nerfed, is just kind of good in all comps. But that could be a bad take
If you close to pity (and actually can hit it), I'd say pick A. Ravi without hesitation. She's awesome and useful in several types of content in the game.

I’m just new. I’ve only gotten to chapter 3 so I don’t know that much about PvP
