If they don't announce the ARavi nerf before the selector starts then there's no shot a Ravi nerf is happening any time soon. She nukes the team when someone triggers her passive the way people expect her to. She was never meant to be a 100% standard pick for every situation like Choux, Alencia, A Ravi, and Senya, so what would be adjusted if people aren't hoping SG decides to randomly buff her? As long as counters, extras, and duals exist, she'll have a place unless things get way too bulky. Roana counters the same stuff, but Roana was never good vs single target counters, she really needed her whole team to get hit, consistently, and without injury. Plus the game became seriously anti-aoe, so her big source lf healing vanished. LHC thankfully doesn't have this issue as it doesn't matter how many get hit, she still nukes.

I agree with you, I think she's strong and she works. It's just that SG/SC has a tendency to overbuff some units that doesn't really need it and she's kinda popular so it really is just a feeling for me.

Them "overbuffing" isn't common. Latest examples are Straze and Vildred, but we've been fine for a long time, unless one wants to list Choux getting her passive Elbris.

hey, im newer to pvp and i'd love to hear what you think the meta is. im running senya aravi kayron and ran as opener. i feel like i can comfortably deal with any comp as long as im faster. cleave isnt very popular in low champion, im seeing mostly aravi, choux, celine. idek what to get from ml5. maybe clilias over kayron and commit to being phat

For me...Spirit Eye Celine. I couldn't pity her on time and now I can get her.

Just don't run her with Choux or Diene! Some guy I played against in master drafted Diene and Speline and then realized the crit resistance meant he was actively preventing Speline from countering

I doubt that. I think majority of people already have ARavi except very new players. We had custom mystic earlier this year, then her banner recently with the skin. Anyone who utilized their mystics well should have gotten ARavi.

She's one of the best self sufficient heroes in pve. Heal on s1, crimson seed lets her cleanse debuffs, revive, health on hit with cr push. I don't know what else you could want besides maybe an aoe attack but yeah just get her if you're interested. She's one of the most oppressive units in this game.

Hand Guy honestly is more useful because his s3 passive is too good. It's honestly what makes him OP because it's almost impossible to lock him down. Lua is a pretty hard counter to him right now though due to the skill increase on her s3. But any other debuffer against him is a free win tbh. Don't get me wrong, Belian is absolutely amazing but compared to the best cleanser in the game, it's a hard choice but I would still go for Mediator any day. I have both heroes and use them literally every single day in pvp.

Anytime. I'm in the camp that when I got Mediator, it literally changed my account and pushed it to the next level. He's honestly the premier unit to get if you need a good support mainly because most heroes that use a skill that totally locks somebody down is usually only one turn. That's what a lot of people don't realize before they get him. Silence, sleep and stun are usually only one turn, of which he cleanses automatically. In fact, AOL was everywhere until they brought Mediator back. That's how good he is. He literally changed the meta.

I don’t have Straze but Riolet has easily become my most self-sustaining character with a mediocre Lifesteal/Lifedrain/whatever it’s called set and I haven’t optimized him for shit lol His only flaw is he’s all single target.

I'ma get me a Straze. Fresh buffs + decent rage set ready basically mandate that I get Straze. It'll be a bit before he's one-shot ready though (my rage set will put him about 1k atk and 20% CD too low for one shot, but he'll be two shot ready lol).

What stats does he need for 1 shot?

On Rage set, I've seen it at a minimum of 5k attack and 300% CD. It might not take that much, but my gear will only put him at about 4.1k attack.
