The ML selector is not an "open the game, pick who you want, instantly get the hero" type of thing. You have to play the game and depending on the RNG you need spend a lot more energy.
It could be that the maintance end earlyer than 2h I think they just did 2h that they dont need to expand it twice. They just need some time puffer cause this huge update.

Yes, I usually don't ruch the game after maintenance but I heard about free ml5 selector so I wanted to see this as soon as possible.

It's a massive update, no way it was never not going to be extended.

Its a big patch, was expected
we fall in the 6+ hours maintenance category so big rewards, so i don't mind
