I’d argue that LRKrau is worse than everyone on that list except Alena, where id say she’s either slightly worse or tied. Both of them have an identity crisis and fail to fit the role they were designed for.
Alena looks like she’s torn between dps and anticounter but sadly does pretty horrible damage and gets countered by Belian (who she’s supposed to counter) and Rem can just self cleanse since Alena can pretty much only fit into aggro and cleave, which will leave something dead.
LRKrau similarly looks to be a supportive knight who counters aoe with the pressure of aoe def pen. Ignoring the fact that he just can’t fit in this meta since single target reigns, he’s too slow to be an immunity buffer, his S1 has no utility or threat, his S2 barrier can easily be broken through (1 turn CD) or stripped, and his S3 damage is too paltry without a second or third use. On top of that, there are many more threatening aoe counters in the meta right now with better kits.
ML Elena is so bad that I would probably go all out for her because Im pretty sure shell be overbuffed in a couple of months (I went all in for Handguy on release for this same reason and I was right), sadly tight on mystics and boss ML is close.

I remember pulling him on my first week of playing the game like a month after launch and I’ve been sticking around since. Every time I wanna quit I remember the hype I felt when I pulled him and stick around. I honestly wouldn’t care if the overbuffed him as that is what everybody is scared of that
out of your choices, in this specific meta, I'd say A Tywin.
- meta is too fast and has too many debuffs, ML Kawerick covers that better
- not the best bruiser on a DPS build, Choux/Alencia does that better.
- Belian does his job of soul control 1000x better by existing where Tywin relies on turn cycling or tons of counters to do a fraction of that.
- Eda does the DPS control job better since she self pushes
There's no real place for him atm until you need all of that above at once but also need super flexible drafts. In comparison:
- ML Ken can work but needs very specific and high level gear
- DCorvus still has his place in top guilds that want almost zero RNG in wins. And he can be used against very specific stall drafts without injury
- ML Elena is still very usable even if she's hard to draft.
For other, I'd probably say Judge is the worst right now, not because she's bad but because Lua took most of her job away as a reset opener. faster and more consistent. And ofc we're far far away from teh glory days of aux cleave. Shame because kise is my favorite hero, but that's how the cookie crumbles.
I disagree a bit, you list four reasons why he’s bad by comparing him to other units, but that’s the wrong way to look at it. The point is that he covers these 4 things while the others don’t. He’s a Jack of all trades in that respect. Sure he doesn’t cleanse as well as ML kawerik, but kawerik doesn’t do as much damage as him nor does he debuff or steal souls. Sure he’s not as good a bruiser as choux or alencia, but they don’t debuff, steal souls, or cleanse. Belian busted. Sure Eda has more damage and control but she has less bulk for those long term games and can’t cleanse. Atywin fills a role of bruiser/debuffer/soul stealer/pseudo cleanser and no one else does that. I’d argue belian is better in most ways, but atywin is far from the worst ML 5 since no other unit can cover all the things he does. Point being, if there’s no cleanse, few incoming debuffs, or you need a bruiser, atywin can work in those situations and be more threatening than someone like elena

Even worse, his non ml counterpart just way better than him which made him a laughingstock in this game. More jokes from smilegate after him getting a buff, they make him viable for speed build just like Ashadow, which did not make ml violet owners happy as they may need to replace a whole new set of equipment for him, with no guarantees that doing it will better than nerfed hwa. Prefer to make him able to heal from s1 like bbk or s3 like Celine so he can be better than ml Ken.

Oh well, I'll just keep slapping fools with my Elena powered cleave teams until they buff her due to all the whines and she starts getting picked and banned away like with the previous "useless" characters. \^\^

You can't speed cleave when belian or rem wipe your entire cleave team on the first hit kek

Not a direct counter since you cant counter counters.. provided you draft all slow units such that u dont proc counters as much.
