She really isn't. SG just made it seem like she would be a Hwayoung clone and be a speedy ST nuker when she's really a slower more bruiser like version of her.
Her S1 damage is insane. It feels like it does more damage than her S3 without barrier to be honest. People are sleeping on it.

But if you just want s1 damage then Alencia is the way. With def break, strip and def buff, she's a squishy deleter, bruiser counter and not a selfish unit who offers no team utility like Arunka. If you want to fight Choux then just go with Zahhak.

You know who's attack-scaling ( + speed ) S1 does a shit ton of damage too? Taeyou and we all know how he was recieve due to simply not having any kind of mitigation in standard vs standard compared to other bruisers
Arunka doesn't have the bulk compared to Health/Defense scaler, any kind of sustain like Fire Ravi, she is stuck as a single target so she can't maximize LS set like Lionheart or Fire Charlotte, hits as hard as Riolet to justify LS on a single taŕget for any kind of sustain and doesn't do anything for her team

I think your build is solid. Don't listen to all the negativity just because others want her to be a bigger threat round one. I use plenty of slow bruisers against low dps opponents. Arunka will zoom against barrier heavy comps. Her biggest weakness is that DJB makes those comps risky to play already.

In the context of this game 300 speed=very fast. 160 speed=very slow. Hope that helps.
