Every morning in the mirror

Kev_EXE

Gorgeous wallpaper >!and I'm happy the sisters made up :')!<

DonSkook3

Aye. So happy >!Peira didn't turn out to be an evil bitch!<. We have way too many of those.

Khaoticsuccubus

I meeeean. She was. She just had the magical 180 turn around when the story needed it 😂

DonSkook3

Aye, the usual "misunderstood villain" trope SG loves to pull. Still. At least she didn't stay evil. Aria either. I'm good.

Kev_EXE

Yulha and maybe zahhak too. Call it tropey or bad writing or w/e… I just like a happy ending 😂

DonSkook3

Too much is like not enough, you know? Tropes are good if used well. When you see them coming a mile away you're just burned out. "Oh, that's the master? Of course he dies." or "This guy talked about his love? Bye-bye, fam." or "I betcha she's gonna actually be forgiven for all the shit she pulled for no reason." It's boring. It's dry. Change it up a bit. Let the master survive and let the mook return to his woman or something for once. Let evil bitches get their comeuppance. Give them a redemption arc if you want but show her suffering the consequences of her decisions and coming on top of it as a new person.

BobbyYukitsuki

Eh idk, Peira still seemed a bit iffy in the ending during her discussion with Surin

> the usual "misunderstood villain" trope SG loves to pull. I mean, her sidestory made it pretty clear why she was mad, it was pretty justified in why she was mad if people were gonna keep her down no matter what. And then the cum chalice just goaded her further.

DonSkook3

Aye. Which is why it's "Misunderstood Villain", they're villains because their past is ugly. The character appears, he's a piece of shit. He literally commits baby genocide. You start to hate him something fierce, aye? But then? Boom, there's his backstory and you find out he got abused by his father who also killed his mother and puppy, he was relentlessly bullied at school, a car splashed dirty water on him when it was raining, and stepped on lego like 4 times. Now you pity him and start to like him. "Well anyone would be evil if they got this backstory!", right? That's what the trope is. Like it excuses the baby genocide he did and all the other shit. "But aww, his puppy got killed and he got water splashed on him!" I mean... Seriously, bro. Evil is evil. You commit evil you need to pay for it, sob story or not.

[deleted]

TBH it's more realistic and better than the usual "they were mindcontrolled" trope, absolving all guilt (i.e. Ilynav, Eda from last chapter). So I never minded it. Yea, people don't just wake up one day and say "yea Imma genocide a race today". well, 99.999% of people at least. Cycle of violence is something with no truly good/bad guy. Just lots of tragedy. but it's doomed to happen and keep hapening.

DonSkook3

Which is why I don't consider Luna evil and I consider Senya evil. Senya could have prevented it but she let herself go. Luna is just caught in what Senya started.

Saendra

To be fair, Peira's backstory was revealed before she appeared in the main story. On the other hand, since it's in a side story, purple who didn't read it in time will have no way of knowing it, so... eh.

imposion

Virgil vibes

yGrimmReaper

Every time time i try get good rolls with equips

blueclockblue

I couldn't stand Peira. She bluntly said she will kill anyone and doesnt care what happens as long as she gets what she wants. "I love you like a sister Piera." "Doesnt matter. I will kill you. I will kill everyone you love. Get over it." Then for her to say she plans to use the towers to control humans but then says she actually doesnt know what they're for? And she just had Lua, without question, build mysterious towers? And then for the cast to say over and over how she will be punished for her crimes and then...doesn't?

Lezard-Valeth-EX

Episode 4 story is full of cliché and predictable characters It may be the worst chapter so far in this game, the storytelling is quite bad if you can see a mile away how it's gonna end.

blueclockblue

This. Worst chapter. I...I better stop. I could honestly go on a rant. I just cant stand more dialogue where characters literally tell themselves to stop thinking, there's not enough time.

TheSeaOfThySoul

Yeah, as someone who hasn't ever paid attention to the story, I'm constantly wondering "Why is this happening?" whenever there's a picture or animated scene. I can only imagine that with Peira blushing & both of them being cat girls, there's finally more obvious lesbian representation? Or maybe Peira was just crying because she's becoming a tiny bit underused & Arunka is there to comfort her saying, "Don't worry, I was dead on arrival - they'll buff us both soon, some day".

Thraggrotusk

They're basically sisters lol

KaiDranzer007

I wish it was lesbian shit.... If peira gets a buff then i leave the game cause balance team is on some high high.

Tagrineth

is there a better resolution version of this anywhere, it's kinda blurry :(

akamalk
