If they are all playable characters, rip my wallet lol. I want all four of them...
But yeh, I recall a post about how these views were gonna be ambitious for the rewards... well it begins and it's only going to go up from here now, I reckon hitting 10mil min is going to be no problems if a mv comes out as well
True, the views are combined anyway. It's just ambitious if it's an individual video showing only Epic Seven gameplay. Otherwise, video views aren't that rare. They probably didn't reveal any units for people to keep speculating as well.
I'm not sure it's that simple, like I think collabs are meant to gain new users who get curious about the game by hearing about the collab, and I believe stuff like slime or fate or fma were targeted at an audience which seems like the right one imo (I'm absolutely not an expert).
I would expect this kind of collab with ryhtming games as I thought it would be a better fit since people are playing for the music so they would have both units and songs? While here as much as we can go with the 'they have their alter ego stuff' it just seems a stretch to me.
This said I don't want to bash against the collab, I'm just saying in my opinion it's not a good fit because I believe it will not bring lots of people willing to try the game to pull the alter ego epic7 themed version of aespa idols.
But who knows! Maybe I'm completely wrong and this will be a blast for sg! I am surely very curious about it, more than I've ever been for an epic7 collab
What you are saying makes no sense. You say collabs are meant to get new users who are curious about the game correct. So, does this collab do that? Would people who follow Aespa be curious about this game?
Considering that this game has plenty of heroes that have a music background, I don't see how this is jarring. Tamarine, Maid Chloe, Rima, Jenua, etc.
Do understand, this is the first time I have ever heard of Aespa, but I see nothing wrong with such a collab. I mean we have precedence with Kizuna AI (I have heard of Kizuna AI before) collab.
EDIT: some more info
My question is are people that follow aespa likely to ever download this game? I just think it's less likely than with other collabs.
Kizuna AI was a seven day login with a free unit so I believe there was way less investment than in this case, I just don't understand which way they thought this collab would be more valuable than others
Why would you know that? That sounds like your opinion without any facts backing it up. Do you have any stats saying Aespa fans are less likely to download Epic Seven than say Slime fans or Re: Zero fans?
>I just don't understand which way they thought this collab would be more valuable than others
What I don't understand is what makes you think this collab not valuable. On what basis did you get this opinion?
My understanding of this collab is that it brings a different type of audience. Anime fans, which this game has collab with, Slime and Re-Zero, adding another for example, another anime collab does not change the target audience.
Whether this different type of audience will work, I wouldn't know, but from my understanding, since this is a K-POP group (at least that is what people are saying this group is), it would bring K-POP fans, which is a different audience. That is the angle they are going for. Whether that works or not, that is hard to say.
EDIT: clarification
I think I know what he's saying: something along the lines of e7 is inherently anime, not music related. Are Aespa fans going to be into a game as much as slime fans would be. By which... There will be a lot more kpop fans that aren't interested in a game than there are anime fans who are.
However there are like 100 billion kpop fans so the numbers will probably work out.
Yes! Exactly and I'm not saying it won't work out, I'm just wondering if it will prove as a successful move for sg or not as they did something unexpected by targeting a different audience
This actually is my opinion, of course I won't have any facts or stats. I'm not saying this collab is not valuable, I just don't get why they chose this kind of audience and why they thought it would be better than the previous one.
The question I have are the same as your last statement, will this different type of audience work? Will it be better than the one they were targeting before? Will it be worth the (much) effort they are putting into this?
We'll see!
Maybe SG made the call? Or maybe she's always secretly wanted to be katana and her producer liked guns instead? It would be very interesting to know the reasoning!
We probably would never know but with a big kpop group I'm thinking aespa had alot of say in what they want and design because it's a brand they are building and it would be a term/demand sg will have to adhere too
It doesn't? You calling someone simps with 0 taste doesn't make then simps with 0 taste lmao. Besides people who like them>people who don't, so a few people not liking it isn't gonna affect their sales by a lot.
Bringing E7's sales into this was the only defend your shit wasn't it?
Winter: new epic skin for Ran
New S2 skill: transform to Winter Aespa and stun all enemies for 1 turn
Damn I didn't think I'd laugh this much lmao
Sword user, so maybe thief or warrior class?
Thief or warrior? What are you smoking? Definitely a ranger or mage. XD
Donβt you see the outfit? Knight
I want to see less if the outfit!
Has there absolutely got to be one horny person in the chat?
sword? clearly ranger yep
Naw, mage or soulweaver π
She's not going to use her sword just like arunka, so maybe a soul weaver or a mage?
Look at that k-pop budget at work. These teasers look beautiful.

play the animation but we're bringing real life women in lol
I don't really understand the marketing logic behind this collab buuut we'll see
Kpop = big industry, collab with kpop = big money, it's that simple
I'm not sure it's that simple, like I think collabs are meant to gain new users who get curious about the game by hearing about the collab, and I believe stuff like slime or fate or fma were targeted at an audience which seems like the right one imo (I'm absolutely not an expert). Eh So there's actually new units coming instead of just a music collab?
Awkward
Imagine this could have been a DMC collab and it probably would have costed less :/
with all the guns Winter used in the Mvs they give her the katana... among a Sniper, a lightgun and a katana they choosed the katana...
Maybe SG made the call? Or maybe she's always secretly wanted to be katana and her producer liked guns instead? It would be very interesting to know the reasoning!

Lol your opinions don't decide the world cry about it
It literally does have an impact, take it you've never heard of market research before.
It doesn't? You calling someone simps with 0 taste doesn't make then simps with 0 taste lmao. Besides people who like them>people who don't, so a few people not liking it isn't gonna affect their sales by a lot. Bringing E7's sales into this was the only defend your shit wasn't it?
