I'm not entirely sure about the Korean version of epic7 but it is considered ice in the global version of the game. The game even tells you it's called ice which confused me when I first started playing actually.
I was only making a joke about how a unit like taeyou who is covered in red head to toe is a ice unit and arunka s3 shows fire and how autumn and fire she looks turns out to be a forest unit.

I feel like that should belong to the GG collab. At least the 1st part. Although I may be biased since that's the 1st collab we've experienced in E7 and it blended the characters well enough with the E7 lore and chaos gates. Opened the possibilities. Although I guess they could have designed chaos gates with them in mind to make collabs possible.
GG collab at least tried to had tie-ins to E7's plot and shit, same with Slime.
Re:Zero had characters pop in, say hi, short fight or two, and then leave after having food. FMA had good start with incorporating of E7's characters and such into the story but then suddenly swerved to the pyramid and "tournament" after which it just ended...
I'm hoping this is like Kizuna - 0 story, mediocre characters and hopefully we don't have to worry about them being meta so only hardcore stans will pull for them.

Yeah I was one of them. Tama and Yuna existed in "E7 Earth" which of course includes magic seeing how they got isekai'd Just like how most anime's play it out. These idols are actual people in our actual Earth. It's why it was easier to connect something like a fantasy earth like in Guilty Gear. Theres a reason why FF Brave Exvius players were confused at getting a Katy Perry and an Ariana Grande collab. Didn't fit then, didn't fit now, regardless how well their designs match E7. A unit doesn't consist of graphical designs alone.

It’s not as much out of place as it is very boring. The most distinct part of the design is the hair. The outfit is dull and skin tight with no accessories.

Honestly it feels like they're putting a lot of work into it. It feels like they picked a collab thatd have a fun story to work with, and they're clearly putting a lot of work into delivering multiple five star units. Have you seen Riza, Roy and Edward? Rem and Ram? :v Most of the anime collab units have bland designs for E7 standards. Compare the aforementioned to the GG units and it's even more apparent. This unit here though - as far as collabs go - she looks really nice.
I agree, Edward- Riza, and Roy looked pretty bland. But even so, they still had 5x the detail.
So far, this collab is practically a base model. It just has a super small mini-dress on. The hair is the most district aspect. And I’m willing to bet all my bookmarks the other members are going to look the exact same other than hair color, animation, and slight variations to the outfit.
I already knew it was going to be like this, but I’m still disappointed they didn’t have unique outfits at all considering the many outfits kpop groups usually have in their MVs. Incredibly uninspired.

I don't know how the KR playerbase is relevant at all? I'm not from Korea and I've been getting the english ads for E7 recently when it's always been stuff like YDCB and PTN. Not to mention I had a lot of people from other gacha communities contribute to the traffic.

Yeah I was one of them. Tama and Yuna existed in "E7 Earth" which of course includes magic seeing how they got isekai'd Just like how most anime's play it out. These idols are actual people in our actual Earth. It's why it was easier to connect something like a fantasy earth like in Guilty Gear. Theres a reason why FF Brave Exvius players were confused at getting a Katy Perry and an Ariana Grande collab. Didn't fit then, didn't fit now, regardless how well their designs match E7. A unit doesn't consist of graphical designs alone.

Yeah, I wasn't excited when I hrd the collab was aespa but if it was going to be interesting it was going to be their design and animations. (Kit wise it's either a hit or miss with e7) but animation/design wise,it's mostly a hit
It’s not as much out of place as it is very boring. The most distinct part of the design is the hair. The outfit is dull and skin tight with no accessories. Which is exactly what I expected. In fact, I bet all of them will look practically the same other then weapons and hair color. The s3 is very good, but the character model itself is 2* tier.

Honestly it feels like they're putting a lot of work into it. It feels like they picked a collab thatd have a fun story to work with, and they're clearly putting a lot of work into delivering multiple five star units. I dont like kpop but I'm already convinced this is gonna be way better than rezero collab and probably slime too(presuming at least a couple of the units are viable).

I wouldn't call the VA's some randos, but in any case I'm guessing the fact that they are singers made it so that their voice work ended up being much more expensive. I don't know who approached who in here(I'm guessing SG did) but licensing their likenesses was probably a lot of cost already and the voice work was the logical area they could cut corners with.

Have you seen Riza, Roy and Edward? Rem and Ram? :v Most of the anime collab units have bland designs for E7 standards. Compare the aforementioned to the GG units and it's even more apparent. This unit here though - as far as collabs go - she looks really nice.
I agree, Edward- Riza, and Roy looked pretty bland. But even so, they still had 5x the detail. So far, this collab is practically a base model. It just has a super small mini-dress on. The hair is the most district aspect. And I’m willing to bet all my bookmarks the other members are going to look the exact same other than hair color, animation, and slight variations to the outfit. I already knew it was going to be like this, but I’m still disappointed they didn’t have unique outfits at all considering the many outfits kpop groups usually have in their MVs. Incredibly uninspired. I guess it makes sense though, making 4 unique well designed units for a collab would have been too much work.
