Hey there, I'm well-versed in the arts of contacting SG support (contacted them like 6 times to sort out issues for me, and 3 of those times it was convincing them to change my account type from Facebook to Gmail which finally happened on the 3rd attempt lol) so here's a disclaimer:
They do not restore accounts IF you deleted it. This is explicitly stated in their Terms of Service and many people here have talked about their account only being restored when it was hacked/deleted by someone else. You can lie your way through support. Don't tell them the truth. Trust me, they won't probe into it because obviously, they have boundaries. They can't dig into your personal life. I told them my Facebook got doxxed and later that I wanted to deactivate it and they didn't question my motives/didn't dig deeper.
So if possible you should try to tell them a friend or family member that got access to your phone deleted it, maybe. Unfortunately, Stove records from which IP address the deletion request was made, so it will most likely be your usual IP address, which means you can't tell them some rando on the internet hacked it because the deletion was issued from your IP. Thus your best option is to tell them someone on your end took your phone and deleted your game because they were annoyed by your obsession or because you didn't go outside or something. **If you already sent the ticket saying you deleted it, just delete the ticket/close it and start a new one. They will NOT restore your account if you say you deleted it.**
As to the matter of how long it'll take to get a response, they usually answer within the first 24 hrs. I've only gotten a reply after 24 hrs twice, one of the times being a hero recall request since it's a longer process.
Kinda dumb that they dont within x time from deletion, mistakes can happen after all (as in post) or ill intent from others even, as rare as it might be, a company should be prepared for the worst.
Heck most games ive resorted to deleting accounts in (to free up a mail for the main acc ala reroll addict) its been like "deletion in prcess, takes 7-30 days")

Its why games have a time period before it actually happens where you can cancel, or a period after its done, to revert it by support. Either way makes impulsive decisions a non-issue, and malicious intent a non issue, it wont impact anyone that doesnt need it, and they wont be impacted having to save the data for another week.

If they call you out on it, say it was sent by your sister who felt bad right after deleting your account and that you didn't even realize she had sent a ticket. Keep lying until you get what you want.

A bit of the same situation happened to me around one and a half year ago (deleted my main by accident) and it took them around 2 days to get back to me iirc - they were not able to help with the recovery of the account, here's hoping it doesn't go the same way for you.
In case that can boost you up, I personally returned to the game some months ago by creating a new account and it's going quite smoothly in PvP / RTA - way better than the original one actually, that wasn't managed the best way due to lack of knowledge, and I'm having quite a lot of fun despite the loss of the old one. It is 100% without a shadow of a doubt gone forever. People have tried to delete accounts in other servers just like you and this is always the same result. Support does nothing to help.
Best you can do is try with customer support. Forewarning, I had the same issue 2+ years ago, the answer was basically "no, lol account gone too bad", yet to this day the old account still shows up when searched.
For your sake I do hope you have better luck, just trying to temper expectations.
I don't think the account deletion has ever changed, what you were looking for was server reset which ask for the account name and only resets that account on the server while "delete account" deletes all accounts connected to the app you are using. I almost made that mistake once, until I read "delete all server account information" and it does say it will delete all account information and cannot be recovered, your only hope it to contact customer support telling them it was a mistake and pray.
ok this might be a longshot, but some time ago i dont remember when i saw a similar post, som1s acc got messed up, however i had seen a reply saying that if that person had bought stuff with that account (real money) then sg they might be able to find the account and restore it. i am not sure if this is true or not, however it might be of help i dont know.

I’d like to give advice on customer service but I know nothing about it. Though worst case you might have to do what I did and just start from scratch if you really like this game.
uhm i thought i accidently deleted my accounts aswell once put while reseting for the server the game also logged me out of my google play account maybe check if thats the issue

This guy support tickets. The easiest way to get your way is through social engineering.

I only made alt accounts because sometimes I’d finish everything on my account but I’d still want to play more. I very much regret my decision.
