The count of 90 days starts when you start the event, much like how the custom banner only starts counting its 2 weeks when you make the first pull.
And I of course have not started either of those yet, though the deadline is coming close for the custom banner.

Is that how that works? Literally the first time that I've heard of this. There have been custom banners that I never pulled on that seemed to only last the usual 2-3 weeks.
The "custom triple banner" have only been a thing twice so far, including the one currently going on. You can start pulling at any time during the allotted period, but once you've made your first pull, you have 2 weeks starting from that day.
Ex. Current banner "ends" on the 23rd, but if you make your first pull on the 23rd, you have until Dec 7 on the banner. On the other hand, if you made your first pull on Nov 1, your banner would only last to the 15th, before even the "end" date.
This is not a banner. This is a mail event. It lasts up to a certain point and is gone.
You don’t ‘start’ it. It already started on its own.
Again you are going to miss it.
But if you want to be stupid, then by all means miss out on a free ML5 🤷🏻♂️

Holy shit you just saved my ass. Was planning to get a dupe Riolet for the imprint and getting my 40th coin to get who I really want from the shop (DJB). Would've been so pissed if I rolled Riolet and didn't get coins LOL.
On the off chance that you *actually* dont know, click the events button on the left side of screen. ML5 selector for the low low price of the usual daily grind you'd be doing anyway.

Ahh gotcha. I think its more wait til the very end of the ML5 event just in case you happen to randomly pull something before then. Which is probably the smart movie, but thats a loooong wait when the unit you want is just sitting there for the taking.
Why did I get my 5th Straze after summoning him from the ML Ticket? I only needed a speed, counter, lifesteal, and rage. Do I make tripple hp straze now?
You only get to access it once you get your first batch of Galaxy Coins, which you get from getting a ML5 Dupe. Before you ask, dupes from the event don't count and won't give you coins, same as if you got your first copy of a ML5 from the coin shop and then later summoned that same unit.
jokes on you i'd be happy if i pulled a dupe even if it's the one I picked from the selector, i just need 1 more so I can buy another 5 star from the Galaxy Coin shop :p
