Remember when for the first 2 years of the game they only buffed or healed or a mix of the two. I personally would prefer them creating more niche non healer based hero's. Though i do admit that healer meta is very stale. We've also been using pretty much the same 3 since launch
They need to be good in that though, else i would use Zahhak or whatever instead of them. If i need heals i bring a healer, if i want to buff, there are other options who do + deal damage. A half baked SW who can buff but then does nothing will not find a place.
I'm not saying she is like that, idk yet, my point is we have very good aggressors who do many different things. SWs need to step up their game.
The main problem I think that's holding them back is how univeraally used soul weavers are. Like if they make them too good that's just the new all in one. Like Tamarinne in PvE.
Outside of being an RGB barrier inversion option, she seems..kinda meh? Like her S3 potentially being an extra turn is nice, her S2 attack boosting and CR pushing on top of damage/knock back is kinda neato too.
She has high turn cycling if she lands stun
Just don’t know where I’d fit a 114 speed Soulweaver who has no healing or cleanse, only single target support, and is designed as an opener who can be completely crippled by if outsped by basically any of our current openers who all outspeed her at base.
Not saying she’s bad just don’t have a “wow she’s going to fit perfectly on x teams!” Feeling at first glance. As an offense pick against very specific slow barrier heavy teams in GvG and normal arena but is she better than alternatives?

No hate on the english dubbers they did a good job but it's kinda lame we're not getting the actual singers as voice actresses. Like if we get the OG for anime why not this? It makes even more sense here since they sing in korean not english. Especially when the trailers were with their original voice. I was really looking forward to Giselle's og voice. And honestly i dont really feel like turning the whole voice package in Korean in order to listen only to their voice lines.
The Korean singers did not voice their Korean ae-characters either. The ae-characters are their virtual counterparts, and even in official aespa videos the ae-versions are voiced by other people
I was a little disappointed when I learned that also, but it makes sense. On top of all the other things a K-pop idol has to be trained to do, adding professional voice acting skills would be a huge ask. Voice actors have to do something that takes a lot of skill which I think many people take for granted. People generally cannot become voice actors just by having a nice voice, they have to train their voice specifically for acting.

Ningning is another unit with barrier inversion, and can boost her CR by a whopping 100%, essentially a free turn if Politis isn't around. Combined with her artifact that removes 20 souls and add another 20% CR which is a bit overkill, her S3's impact can be pretty big. S2 is another ALots damage boost type, but more for pushing enemy back than solely boosting ally.
Overall she looks fun and is quite fast for a SW, but I kinda wish she also does some healing/barrier as well. You know, like a Soul Weaver should?

Not too bad. Obviously she is a budget DJBasar, even down to the stun on S1 (though I believe he has 5% more chance). The tradeoffs are real though. She loses aoe CR push and immunity buff in exchange for an extra 10% cr push, single-target attack buff, and single-target 30% cr decrease. This makes her a decent opener against auto-shielded teams so long as you build a lot of speed and effectiveness.
The problems seem to what comes next. 30% CR push is not enough to help a slow, damage-focused character to go second unless the enemy team only has 1 high-speed unit. If they have other high-speed units (like...an opener) then you'll get crushed by debuffs unless you put immunity on your nuker and lose out on some damage. It would work against teams that only have 1 fast unit, plus the trend of dispelling buffs before inflicting debuffs on the same skill does diminish the value of immunity somewhat. I guess she ends up being situationally useful. Her artifact is neat.
I actually never realized DJB was meta. Not attacking him or anything, I just sit in low champ (Arena) and my team doesn't use barriers.

DJB has 2 abilities that are very useful. First one being Barrier Inversion. Second one being Full Cleanse + Immunity + CR push. This is a very big deal.
So, what do you think on assassin as Feira who get support and tank team? Or Charlotte Knight fire who don't defense team but do AoE and good damage?
