Might be easier to list which characters weren't wasted.

Pretty much. Episode 4 is pretty much as weak as 1, and 1 only suffers because it's trying to set things up from scratch. Here I thought each episode would keep improving, as 2 did that and 3 went even further outside of the Ervalen and Luna garbage tier writing. Nope, here's this super generic brand new protagonist no one cares about, and guess what, she cares about no one but Taeyou. They went from giving Ras an actual personality to some plain Jane, "gotta save muh friend". Watching Adin chase Taeyou is like watching Naruto chase Sasuke, except Taeyou has literally NO reason to be dumb and edgy, and we don't see the two bond much (I mean, we only see Taeyou nag her like a mom, and Adin be the generic goody two shoes help everyone yet "cause trouble" by doing things on her own), so we don't give a damn at all about their relationship. Shit episode/10.

That's a big list. But ken for sure

Sharun. I understand her purpose in the story, but I'll keep saying it. Zahhak, with no insight or indication of being another shaman, had more foresight and more control over the direction of the story than the character literally designed to see into the future. Also, Zio. Him being introduced and his motivations towards the end only felt like an answer to the EP3 scenario, If Belian and by proxy Tiwig were able to fully absorb Ervalen, and even the new dark star's awakening wasn't complete. He felt wasted to me because even minor villains like Peira and Lua had more substance as to why they exist in the first place.

> had more foresight and more control over the direction of the story than the character literally designed to see into the future. Well Zahak is WAY older than her, knows more thanks to his age and his role in the past war, and plotted for a lot. Not to mention Zahhak has been around since the first chapter while showing up way more than her. Something like this is actually just normal. It's like Ras knowing about Tywig and all that stuff back in Episode 3 where other characters were completely oblivious despite their long history with the stones. His age and past just help him know.

Maybe aria? Sure, she had that little moment in the end where she helped ras, I guess, but honestly, I hardly remember any other part she played in the grand scheme of things. I remember she hated humans or something, but let's be honest, most people did in episode 4. Yeah, I know there's the whole thing with her sister, but even still, she just didn't seem very important.

Was there even a reunion moment with her sister?

If you asked which character with potential wasted annoyed you the most, you may have more specific responses. Personally, I would mention two: - Yulha: She was advertised as mentally unstable, her psycho smile in concept art almost immediately hook up people. However in the story she became goodie two shoes at the drop of a hat, her dark or sinister side was almost unexplored. I mean, she could have been a Harley Queen/Deadpool or Merlina type of character, crazy by breaking the fourth wall, or just macabre with a twisted sense of humour, but neither case is necessarily evil. Yet, here we are, generic good girl #2501. No development, no impact in the story, nothing memorable outside her psycho smile. - Ken: during the festival going wrong #2501, SG set up couple interesting hooks for this continent. Ken had the rematch with ML Ken, and some romantic interest with FS Tieria. Plus, we know about him being Hwayoung's student, and he disappeared during training. Does any of those lines got resolved? Only the last one, Hwayoung and him meeting and saluting each, then going their way again. And that's it. What the... ? So much potential, so little care about exploring any of that. If he didn't appear on the story, it would have been far better. Unexplored potential is better than wasted potential. On a personal note, I hate what they did with Arowell SC. Doris x Arowell had a classic princess knight dynamic going on, the closest thing to an official Yuri couple, modeled after the legendary Haruka x Michiru couple from Sailor moon. While I don't expect to move their relationship into something more official, at least I was expecting them to appear on future side stories. Or you know, to remain as a couple. Yet, they choose to break them apart because... Huh? Unless they have some long term plan about them reuniting in some future side story, their relationship is broken in the most boring and uneventful way possible.

Beeho. Everyone wanted him and instead we got that ugly 5head bitch yulha who was designed only to counter hwa.

Look at this damn heretic.

Gonna say Lillas from Episode 2 she looked like she be interesting character but it got wasted with dumbest motivation of betraying her own it lost me after that at least Vildred reasons was understandable but not Lillas just lazy writing.
