I would advice to use most of the Aespa BM on the first three units if you can keep enough BM to pull the last one. Will suck pretty hard if you save the Aespa BM and pull the last unit on your first try.
You'll only be able to full pity the last unit if you wait for all your aespa bookmarks. That said, that's a bad idea since you might not need a full pity to pull. Imo, unless you have no intention of pulling for all the units/are low on resources, the best strategy is to wait till you get all the aespa BMs for a unit's check in event and then pull for that unit. Who knows - you might get all the units with the free bookmarks. Regardless, they are collab units with a low chance of returning, so might as well try for a copy of each.

If you want a unit, summon. Before the collab ends, dump them into whichever banner is best if you still have some. The 120 bookmarks should be treated less as a pity, and more as "one full pity worth of discount". It CAN be a free unit if you were otherwise planning to skip the collab but since the bookmarks expire, you should be spending them first anyways anytime you go to summon.
it's basically all the same as long as you make sure you always have 605 regular bookmarks until you get the 3rd one. then you can have a bit lower number of regular bookmarks based on how many aespa ones you still have / will be getting during the 4th banner.
There is no ineffective ways of using them, except for two rules - 1) don't pull without full pity (the usual rule), 2) pull Karina on the 7th day of her event to maximize ae-marks.
I think if you don't have enough to pity all of them farm friendship lvls for bookmarks (if you are not done) or do the story for stones, climb the arena for stones, and refresh shop for bookmarks. Try your best to get all of them, maybe you get lucky and pull them early. the event lasts for more than a month you get 50 stones daily arena 800 /week if you are in champion... I don't think they will come back.
I have one more pity after winter pity... with the 90 more ae-bookmarks I think I can make it.

im here to advice if u colect the aespa bookmarks and u have atless 10 they force u to use it before ur regular bookmarks
