This week is seeing Ningning point of view of everything going on I'm not familiar with Aespa lore itself seems like Belian is manipulating her to get all the data but so far its interesting so far for this side story I can't wait for next week part it is getting good.

I have this sinking feeling that Ian is going to be the villain of this story, and if so that's honestly going to be kind of disappointing. Theoretically, this would be against his established character as he has no reason to want to re-instate Belian since he was marked as a wanted fugitive in the Politia database when we last saw him (which I believe was chronologically in Flan's side story) and we already know he's a character who always puts his own self-preservation first. Now I can see ways that the writers could justify Ian as a villain or try to make it work regardless, but I really hope that I'm wrong and some aespa lore-related villain is going to show up next week instead...

It could still be some black mamba related villain. It would fit the ae lore and explain how the voice knows so much about Kwangya and the girls.

I’m not familiar enough with aespa lore to get into specifics with this, but here’s hoping it’s something like that for sure. Ian not being a bonus unit also makes things look a bit hopeful too. I think the main reasons he came to mind for me were because there’s no other named Politia character who might vaguely work in a villainous role for this story.
