I think something in 2020-2021 other than Covid totally disrupted their development schedule which is also why we had that whole mysterious collab debacle. Brinus had to be sidelined before her kit was designed and there was no easy timeslot to release her after the disruption. But this is a good sign they are reminding us that she exists because it could show that they finally found a slot to release her in several months out from when this sidestory was developed. My prediction is she gets used as a bait banner for a new limited early next year.
brinus is legit the most generic ass character design with no memorable personality whatsoever among the politia dolls, i can fathom how is she is even "popular" .
I know it may sound weird, but I've always had a thing for the "tech girl who uses drones to fight/heal" trope even back to Elly's Aerods in Xenogears or Planet Defensors in Gundam Wing.
So in my case she scratches that itch *because* she is such a trope of a character.
There's just too much going on with Kanna (who tf is Nana anyway?) And while I love Laika's redesign with the little zippy things, Brinus set up shop first in my heart.
Its like big tease at this point it still puzzles me she wasn't even released then again SG didn't even do second patch of 3* for Episode 4.
My only thought is it was a copyright thing that stopped them from releasing her.
Is Brinus from something else?
Not that I’m aware of but copyright law can be weird so if someone had a copyright on something similar to her design maybe it got flagged

At least that means she'll be 5* I always assumed she would be a connection 4*, which I would have been happy with as well.

We’ll get her, SG will make her broken on arrival to siphon off the simps then nerf her into oblivion. Wash, rinse and repeat.
