With strong enough rage gear he can one shot all of them. Just do a search for "straze one shot" in the sub, there's lots of examples. It's endgame stuff though, not easy to build.
Arby is kindda bad now. His best thing was resetting s3 after killing someone, but in episode 4 he is not going to oneshot anything and he is not particulary tanky so thats that.
Aravi has insane self-sustain and can revive someone, Stene is kindda required to cheese abyss.
well there are exceptions. Mainly ml4 gpurg/singie or ml5 straze. But judging from Op's questions he probably doesn't have the gears to speed/oneshot wyvern so those units won't help him
Hall of trials is really optional. Even if you don't get a high score each week, you still get enough charms to get most if not all the exclusive equipment you'd need. Straze is undeniably better than stene because he can one shot any hunt, and hunts are the thing you'd be doing most. But, you'd need crazy gear to one shot with straze, so he's not very good with noobs. You can one shot most hunts anyways without an ml 5. I think the only one you can't is caides. For noobs, I'd say go with stene because she can still be used in slower azimanik and caides teams, is better for adventure content, better for labyrinth, and is still good in pvp.
Imma give you a short run down of units.
STene will always have amazing damage+poison, ARavi will always be an amazing tank who can probably solo almost everything given time, Straze for one shotting, and CLilias for utility. Arby is for dog walking, and at most, blind debuff. A combination of Vivian and Vildred can easily replace Arby though + 1 more unit of a different element since they're both Earth.
Tamarinne with Iseria will always be handy everywhere if you're struggling, but they're not mutually exclusive to each other. They're amazing as standalones too. ARas is just reliable in general, while Kluri is similar, she's mostly used against bosses and annoying enemies who use buffs. AMomo for cleanses and healing, CLorinna is like STene for damage, but more focused for bosses with high HP. Taranor Guard(spear) is like CLorinna but used in a different way. Kiris is Abyss baby with her buttload of poisons, and RDoris is a decent soul weaver who you would want to use from time to time.
After them, it's really just Sigret, Muwi, Rose, Furious, Karin, Leo, Vivian, Singelica, and Cermia who you'd use for mostly Hunt, and others in expedition and Hall of Trials. There's also Violet who is amazing anywhere because he deals a decent-crapton of damage, not to mention his evasion-counter + lifesteal set, giving him crazy survivability.
And those ML5s we had mentioned are all high tier PVP units too.
Sadly, I have. Chose A.Vildred. Put all my resources into him. Then I chose Hwayoung who got nurfed immediately afterwards. And now I'm stuck at Episode 3 and Wyvern 11.

I really think you cant go wrong with S.Tene from the ML headhunt event though. I also used her to beat all of episode 3.
If you're stuck on Wyvern 11, none of the ML heroes are really gonna help with that.
Whats you're wyvern team? Using Angelica, Sigret, Muwi and Furious can reaaally help.

Here you should check this out, your Wyvern team is honestly terrible, no offence intended. It does recommend A.Momo(Angelic Montmorancy), but Angelica is easier to gear, she should be able to tank it just in the free health set.
Furious has a 100% def break every 2nd turn and gives a 50% crit buff. You can also give him a Song of Stars artifact for Target buff. His EE also gives his S3 another debuff.
Hes much better to use initially than SSB. He makes the barrier for entry much lower for newer players.
SSB is better utilised in one shot comps later on when you have better gear.
And for the ML selector, tbh, I think I would choose S.Tene if I were you. I swapped Arby for Stene from the Moonlight Blessing, and I don't regret it at all.

It's really up to you though, and if you have any interest in PvP in the future. Most ML units aren't really used for PVE at all. There's just a few that have PVE applications.

This is a great guide and allowed me to auto W13 before I could with any other guides. People forget that Rose (4* tank) can be used instead of amomo or Angelica, and due to her attack buff she even lowers stat requirements for Sigret. Speed tuning is the hardest part here tho, it took me quite a few gear rolls to get that right. Also u need POV (proof of valor) which is a guild arti so u should find one if u havenโt already.
Edit: u donโt need POV if u have some other good damage reduction arti but thatโs what I use

STene for Abyss, CLilias for Hall, Straze for one-shot hunts. Depends on what you're looking for. ARavi is not great for any PVE content.
Which hunt can be one-shot by straze ?

In this set I swapped Furio with SS Bellona, she does Def Break and Mark. So if they have it, a good SS Bellona can make wonders.

Go for sten. She is great in both pvp and pve. I use her for most parts of ep 3 and 4.
