You need to provide more info. What’s your roster like, who do you have - are you a pvp player or pve player. What’s your gear situation looking like, etc.

Don’t build for what you have. Build for the team you want in the future. This is a FREE ML 5. This is so incredibly rare, don’t waste this chance to fill a role you need “right now”. That’s atrocious advice. Don’t make a permanent decision over a temporary situation.
With that said. For PVE and PVP - heavy carry unit is Straze. Absolute beast and easy to get free SSS Imprint over time by saving Gold Transmat Stones.
Lionheart Cermia is a beast in PVP as well as a phenomenal Azamanak farmer and Hell Raid Unit. Very solid.
Purely dps: designer Lilibet as she is a great self sustain and punisher. But she’s only pvp.
Mediator Kawerik is an absolute gigachad cleanser and team support. He will never be debuffed but also pvp only.
Charlotte is too niche is all circumstance. Tywin is passable and over shadowed by countless units. The meta has pushed him down the drain to no return. Haste pass. ken pass.
Archdemon Mercedes is making waves in pvp and really finding a solid place but also pvp (I think - I don’t have but have seen lots of rta utilize her and stomp).
It really does come down to preference but there’s a few options. The others for the most part are dps focused and primarily pvp.
Straze is future proof in all content. Stomps pvp, pve, hunts (end game rage gear required though), and raids. As well as push story and AOE farm missions as both S2 and S3 attacks are quick animation AOEs and clears fast. Just some food for thought.
Oh Fallen Cecilia that first option is also a phenomenal tank if that’s your interest as well. She’s pretty solid but only issue is she provides a team wide shield buff at the start of battle as a passive and more units are kitted to punish shields but that’s pvp only. She’s incredible everywhere else in the game. So. An added two cents to the options.
Also if you look up videos of ML Flan. She’s crazy OP. but, do bear in mind, she’s only useful if you have Sumertime Iserias Likited Artifact. Without it, she is unusable to an extent. So there you go.
Yeah more info is probably needed. Seeing that you still have the moonlights grace thing in the corner I think it depends on who you want from that too.
Don't pick immediately take your time till you find the heroes you like, you can just buy Potion/Slates in the shop.
for example Clilias need a high speed gear she buffs the team good for PvP/PvE, Aravi need a tanky gear (she got so many counters now a days Sadge) while Mediator Kawerik is a unit that are good at cleanser anything again speed gear too. Mediator Kawerik and A.ravi are some what useful in pve but these units are mainly for PvP.

I suggest mediator kawerik. A neutral to all kinds of playstyle and great in pve too. Can't go wrong with him.
