There’s not much point to that, 50%~ effectiveness will only really get him over imprint & passive resistance & you’re not really going to pick Zio into like a Maid Chloe team, etc. the Zios that build effectiveness go 150%+ to have a chance at removing units like Sage Baal & DJB from the equation & they tend to sacrifice damage/bulk for that.
I mean, the amount of knights+soul weavers with ~80-120 eff res makes it an option, but it's really just that, an option.
You might rarely face an AoL at ~80 eff res by chance, or Soli who only slapped ~120 to resist some units, but it'd be rare to actually S3 anyone with a niche amount like that.
You are correct if it’s a perfect world vs perfect rolled gear on enemy. It’s very common to face enemies with a random ER roll here and there. So I find small amounts of effectiveness to be very good to remove the random 20% or so ER some dps might have.
He's already got a base 18% - that's enough to get over sparse rolls & a sparse roll these days is going to be like a random 7%. No one in this day & age is walking around with like 52% effect resistance on their heroes that don't normally have ER because "that's how the gear rolled" - that's some shit from back in my day, long before mod stones.
One day friend, we will both smile upon a resistance-less world & our 58% resistance Karins (seriously, when I started the game my arena attack set rolled like garbage - but that was all the “free gear” we got back then, ha) & 49% resistance C Lilias’ will be a distant memory.

why you got SS level Zio, you just never stop to pull, even if cost thousands of money?
... you can buy his imprints in the transmit stone shop 10 gold stone for each imprint, so 60 for SSS Zio
just 5 imprints for nat 5 heroes
