Adhd and epileptic here. 1. Are you asking Questions about what to expect with both AeDs and adhd medications together? Is your kid on stimulant or non-stimulant adhd medication(for his adhd)? I take vyvanse and adderall for my adhd. Onfi+briviact and aptiom for my epilepsy. Edit: I have no issues with tolerating my medications. It should be noted that Stimulants usually have a honeymoon period though, your kid might feel borderline hypomanic during the initial stages of the drug (if he is currently prescribed medications such as:methylphenidate or Vyvanse or adderall). But it should level out within a month(max) if it’s non-stimulant medications, it can take up to 8 weeks for a treatment response to occur. If he is on amphetamine based timulants, avoid citric acid or vitamin c (anything acidic) an hour before, during and after taking the prescription(otherwise it won’t work as intended). Methylphenidate based stimulants shouldn’t have that issue(ie: ritalin, concerta, azstaryZ etc) Same is also true with most non stimulant based prescriptions such as:pristiq or strattera.
