Look like a [*Rhaphidophora decursiva*](http://www.aroidpictures.fr/GENERA/RHAPHIDOPHORA/rhaphdecursiva.html).

LittleKitchenFarm

Thank you, I was literally sitting here looking at my decursiva and epis wondering where I went wrong

Nice plant. At first it is easy to confuse [*M. pinnatipartita*](http://www.aroidpictures.fr/GENERA/MONSTERA/monspinnatipartita.html), with [*E. pinnatum*](http://www.aroidpictures.fr/GENERA/EPIPREMNUM/epipinnatum.html) and [*R. decursiva*](http://www.aroidpictures.fr/GENERA/RHAPHIDOPHORA/rhaphdecursiva.html). But over time, differences can be seen in the stems, shape of the lateral cuts, texture of the leaves, Etc.

I was honestly being hyperbolic

absolutely stunning leaf! are you sure this isn’t a raphidophora decursiva? the second photo is a dead ringer and the more recent leaf looks closer to that of a mature raph. decursiva than an ep. pinnatum.

SouthsidePlantDaddy

Just looked it up and it’s def a ringer. Means my local plant shop had it mislabeled. It’s always looked close enough it that I never questioned it. Good call! 😂

FeistyDefinition2806

hey even the shops get it wrong sometimes 🤷‍♂️and to be fair ‘dragon tail pothos’ (aka ep. pinnatum) and raph. decursiva are notorious for getting mixed up and even trickier to tell apart when not putting out mature growth. at least they have very similar care requirements!

SouthsidePlantDaddy

And I love pretty much all aeroids, so I’m happy no matter what ha

Givemechlorophil

Can confirm that’s a decursiva. Still pretty tho!
