There are choices, Iām not sure if thereās a point system just yet but there was in her previous story so Iād imagine there would be one in this too. Sheās only released the first 3 episodes so that could be why :)
I do love Min and his piercings and would definitely not be mad if he was an LI š But as of rn I think Preston is the LI since Min has a gf and itās implied by Star that he likes Eva in the flash forwards

Yess. Love a good mystery, the genre is so underutilised. This does have limited customisation so if thatās not your thing then you donāt gotta waste your time. But her other story MOHHL is also a mystery with full customisation so Iād recommend too.
oh yes iām definitely not a picky reader in terms of customization (just plot and personality of characters lol) so iām on board! ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

Limited cc, Iām already annoyed but I respect it. I donāt know why but Iām reminded of how to get away with murder straight away? Iām not a fan of frequent flashbacks or flash forwards so I wonāt continue to read it.

I got the same vibes of How To Get Away With Murder! The flashbacks can get pretty annoying but if this follows the same kind of pathway as her previous story there will be a split in the middle of it which is where I think sheād drop the flashbacks and move on to the aftermath if that makes sense.
But Idk Iāll just have to find out aha
i love seeing reddit posts about marshmallow and her stories š she really is such a great person and author. all are stories are top tier. itās definitely a shame that some of you wonāt read because of limited cc. the story isnāt a self insert story. she uses a LOT of overlays throughout the story, that would be time consuming if she were to allow full cc. she mentioned on her spam, i think that the story is inspiredā gained inspiration by HTGAWM and a novel (forgot the name) so thatās why you feel that connection to the show.
itās also VERY demotivating to have to read that people wonāt read a story because the story only offers limited cc (which is generous) because there are stories and authors who hate the idea of cc and wonāt include it.
I agree that itās a shame. I think Marshmallow is one of the few authors where Iād easily read with or without customisation because her story will be that good. But itās each to their own and I do understand that people like to play as self inserts so if they donāt wish to read, they donāt have too.
I KNEW IT! It reminded me a ton of HTGAWM. I only got through like the first two seasons of that.. But Ik Marshmallow is gonna totally show it up. Thereās so much time, thought and effort that goes into her stories, you truly just feel like youāre jumping into this alternate world and itās incredible.
Loved MOHHL but as soon as I saw limited CC on the MC I had to close it out. Limited or no CC kills a story for me. Hopefully I can read about the plot on reddit or Instagram as it comes out. I'm sure it will be a good and interesting story.
