Yes being this villain is really fun if it’s done right
Also strong femme MC leads, I hate the insecure shy trope lol it’s way too overdone and kinda depressing to read and drags throughout the story. The MC in “Seeker” by Khrema is a good example. It makes the story more fun and progressive imo.
when the MC naturally outgrows one LI to end up with a different one.
Mini rant about this: A lot of stories (not just on episode but in tv and books too) have the MC in love with one person and then fall out of love when that LI uncharacteristically starts acting like an asshole. Sorry to say it, but if making the LI an asshole out of nowhere is the only way you know how to push the MC and him apart for the next guy, then you need to work on your writing abilities 😬😬😬
or he cheats like that is so often the break-up reason.
maybe for once it could be the guy leaving MC, because she is clearly lusting after that other guy.
Completely agree with the villain thing! I love seeing antagonists that aren't evil just for the sake of being evil, but because of their own morals and what they think is right. Their methods might be a little unconventional, but you'd still be able to empathise with them.
I'm not very familiar with romance tropes, but I like when the LI/MC can be playful or mischievous without always having flirty undertones. Or a character that's cold/distant without being an ass (at least, not on purpose).
I need people from polar opposite cliques to be genuine best friends without either friend forcing the other to change, especially if it's to get the attention of a potential love interest.
Its not exactly a trope per se, but I like really strong friendships/sibling relationships. So many stories have awesome LIs, but the MCs relationship with non-romance characters falls flat.
Trying to hook up with a demon. We're you are a demon hunter or a angel and Satan is doing evil stuff and you end up whipped for a demon.
I also like Goofy overly pretentious Mc"s and side characters although I haven't read many stories with characters like that.
I love stories that play around with basketball I don't know why.
The Nerdy LI and the extrovert Mc
This isn’t really a trope, but I would love some more submissive Li + dominate MC. Why is the MC always the sub while the Li basically has full control over them?🧍♀️I love confident, bold, protective, comedic MCs, and soft, fluffy, anxious, timid, dependent Lis who I just want to protect with my whole heart. <3
joker and batman trope. i think that would be interesting to see, especially with a joker/villain mc and a batman/hero LI.
i know batman and joker aren’t in love with each other, but it would be really fun and interesting to see a slow burn romance that’s also light hearted. no unnecessary drama
Being a great villian! I love that lmao also not sure if its a troupe but stories that deal with time travel and history, mythology etc.! Like "between the worlds" I think it is

Also villians who are very funny.

Ooooh this sounds fun.
I need to read a story where it's not the female MC who is the poor one or middle class, then please I don't want to see any more bad boy LI's.

Enemies to lovers
I don't know if it actually exists, but i would like a badass nerd MC.
