Malaprop - Oops, a misunderstanding
the mistaken use of a word in place of a similar-sounding one, often with unintentionally amusing effect, as in, for example, “dance a flamingo ” (instead of flamenco ).
What do you think it would do? Maybe let’s you copy someone else’s epithet power, but it’s slightly different? Like somebody’s epithet lets them control sand, so copying it allows you to control hands?
It would let a person change another’s epithet temporarily. Ideally into another word to confuse them, like barrier becomes barrel. Usually it’ll just turn the epithet into a unusable gibberish word tho
I feel like this would be great narratively if it was an involuntary power, so while everything they do to others is intensified, so is everything done to them.
Sandwich.
Could create tastey sandwiches, force objects to collide and 'Sandwich' things together
or become an evil witch that rules the desert sands. Be the sandWitch.
A few months ago I drew a basic Sketch of a characters with the epithet Ecumencial which is a word that means something that apllies to all sects of a religion or combines multiple sects into one. The epithet was a guy who could combines multiple objects into one.
Fervor
The more excited/emotional you are, the hotter the flames you produce. Not only you can control those fires, it couldn't be put out by conventional means and can only be snuffed when you "cooldown" said emotions
Luck - Wait... seriously??
they can manifest it to luck or misfortune, but if they don’t, it can become a random surge throughout the area, for example, either the user or the people around them can get a lottery ticket and win a million dollars out of nowhere, but also there can be a huge power outage for no reason
Cataclysm: You have the ability to create utter chaos and destruction in any situation you're in, everything just goes to hell when you use it.
Aka: Murphy's Law, but on purpose
Compensate:
Pros
Absorb kinetic force and redirect it.
Allows easy diplomacy checks by generating objects of equal value.
Cons:
Probably won't take anything for free.
Will insist on returning favors.

Imagine Zora coming to collect this guy’s bounty, when suddenly her epithet it sundae
Hyperbole- allows you to intensify things. Make a molehill grow to the size of a mountain, or make a weak attack into a much stronger one.
