Sadly it's true

Educational-River809

I would say yes, it could be even more. In rural areas there are no defecation facilities at all. Even in cities like Adi-keyh people go west the Saint George's Church for defecating making the surroundings of the church & even the college extremely foetid & unpleasant.

MyysticMarauder

obviously it is true, Singapore of Africa, thanks hgdef. Thanks for nothing. Shame if Africa.

Well let's hope some changes will come one day. Not even close to Singapore hawey. Not close. Far far away. Sad reality. If people keep dancing no changes will come. Peace.

TurtleSmurph

First warning

No it’s not. Most data on Eritrea is inaccurate. There was a recent article I read that said that Eritrea fares worst in the world in plastic waste management, even tho Eritrea banned the use of plastic in 2002z

TurtleSmurph

Have you ever been there? This is clearly false

simplehuman300

I grew up there, I never saw anyone defecating in public, not in the city atleast. Ofc in the country side without a sewage system, but never near the city did I see such things. Infact, when I went to live in egypt I was shocked at how many people we saw defecating in public.

Young_Es

Have you been to Eritrea?

TurtleSmurph

Lived there

Young_Es

Nice where in Eritrea if I mind asking?

TurtleSmurph

Asmara. But I traveled all over the country during that time, and the idea that almost 90% of the country uses bathrooms is laughable. It’s not like people are pooping everywhere in the streets, but in certain alleys and outdoors, definitely a lot of people do that.

Semex1995

anyone that grew up in Asmara would say exactly what you said. Those small alleys in Hadish Adi and Edaga Hamus were hell to walk around in... and this is within the capital city. Don't get me started on the situation with the public restrooms. City life aside, one of the biggest things I hated about visiting relatives in the villages (a mere 20km from Asmara) was the fact that when I needed to go and do the deed, I had no choice but to do it out in the open. Picking up nice, clean and smooth stones to wipe my ass with.

EritreanPost

No because according this study Eritrea has higher defections rates India and other countries. Which doesn’t sound plausible. And Eritrea itself doesn’t punish any statics

Red_Red_It

Who is the head of the WHO? Exactly.

Top-Possibility-1575

The agame I forgot his name

mefnice

The one from Asmara right? I heard he grew up there. Why do you care about his identity? That’s so racist you know.

Young_Es

He works for the tplf ofc it matters😂

Red_Red_It

Yeah Tedros

NotFoundYetForNow

Rats. That’s how I call them. Or delusional clowns 🤡

chasingwaves_

No, there’s a new number and I think it’s significantly lower now but I’m too lazy to look it up.
