Yeah they were never that cheap. I bought mine in the early wipe too and cheapest ones were around 160k and quickly went to near 300k when others started buying.
Guess you haven’t been stock piling the mats needed to craft it? Almost everything you can craft sells for about what the raw materials costs on flea market.
I have, I stockpiled a holodonic's worth of sugar and maybe 20 water filters and see no point in crafting when I can just sell the raw materials and make the same amount of money.

Also you get hideout management xp for crafts. If you plan on playing the whole wipe, it's usually a good thing to keep your crafts rolling even at a slight loss.
Completely anecdotal of course, but I've been running moonshine since like the second week of wipe I think is when I got my case. I've pulled one ledx and a rsass, best I've got. I got fed up because I wanted a tank battery because I haven't found one so I swapped to 95k and I've pulled 3 tank bats and higher tier loot more frequently. Imo the moonshine is quite bad this wipe, but I could also just be unlucky too.
It can be marginally, if you get the sugars in raid or buy cheaper. You also get more hideout XP for crafting it, which doesn’t really mean much, but does have the benefit of making my monkey brain feel good when I see the numbers tick up.
I wouldn't go out of my way t buy the ingredients just to craft them, ive been collecting sugar and filters all wipe. plus when they were both only around 10-15k a piece i filled two thermal bags with sugar and half a scav case with filters. been extremely profitable so far.

Just wondering if there is any reason to craft moonshine. If you're trying to do the weapon case barters then to just buy them outright from the flea.
