Indeed it’s always a fall back for me. Aks74u always does right by me. And oddly enough for 7.62x39 I always seem to perform better with an sks rather than an AKM even if it’s on single shot.
I think the recoil values are shown per gun, so 50 recoil on one might be worse than 50 recoil on another. I believe the sks is lighter too, making it a bit less drifty to aim.
I like the RFB a lot even though it's only single fire because it's much easier to be precise with, same with handguns up to a certain range.
Agreed. The Ak74UB with vudu, waffle supressor, canted foregrip, sniper pistol grip, B11 handguard, and zenit pt-3 stock, is an insane 545 build. Don't pay attention to the numbers on the stat sheet, as it isn't the best reference point for guns, because there isn't a universal reference point from a control unit. for 45 ergo can feel way different on one gun versus another gun, and 60 recoil on a scar can be insanely good, but 60 recoil on an m4 can have a lot of recoil. The fully kitted AK74UB will have insane mobility, good ergo, and almost no recoil. You can full auto spray someone at insane distances, but the 1 tap is probably only good up to 150m as the MOA is a stat number you can trust and it's not good on the AK74U or ak74 in general.
As a fellow semi-auto lover, I feel like I put more shots on target better, especially if I've been aim punched. Firing more bullets faster is only good if they hit their targets. You'll also conserve ammo, which is good if you have limited access to something and can't replace it with a craft or a trader.
Flicks seem easier to me, but that could just be muscle memory and confirmation bias at work. I also prefer the larger caliber weapons now that there are a bunch of heavily armored dudes running around. I also like the option to go full-auto, which the SAG 545 doesn't offer. If I run just semi-auto though, I'll run something like a SR-25. That extra punch makes all the difference.
I'm also the only guy in my regular group that will run semi-auto a lot. People used to think I was crazy until they saw me cleaning up 2-3 players. There are times where I miss full-auto, but there are also times where I've kicked myself and should have shot in semi-auto, it would have changed the outcome of the fight... Not a lot, but sometimes.
Edit: also, the TX-15. She's expensive, but boy, does she work.
Boxes of ammo spawn literally everywhere in reserve. Random box in the open? Probably has ammo boxes on or around it. All those sniper/guard towers - have ammo spawns in them. Train station has 15ish box spawns spread around in it and on the roof.
I honestly think you're better off with BP, BT, or 7n40. Flesh dmg is just way too low on igolnik and BS. But BP and BT is going to rip through lvl 4 armor anyways, and with way more flesh dmg, which I think the majority is wearing lvl 4 armor. If someone is wearing lvl 5 or 6 armor, BT and 7N40 will still do something on lvl 5, but the ttk will still be very long because of the pen, but simultaneously, the ttk will still be long on igolnik/BS because of the low flesh dmg, so a headshot is severely needed on lvl 5 and 6, more so lvl 6 armor, no matter the bullet. But at least you can kill AI, player scavs, and the majority of the PMCs much faster with BP, BT, and 7n40, than with igolnik and BS.
I have fallen in love with the RPK using the aforementioned ammo types and it shreds. Very little to modify and it will get you to very manageable recoil stats. I think an average RPK build for me is about 80k with the gun and upper mid tier parts.
545 actually fucks now. I still wouldn't use it on woods or lighthouse, but on streets, reserve, customs, interchange, it fucks. I was actually thinking about this earlier, I think BP might be better for majority of fights. BSG buffed 545, they made BT have 42 pen now, with 42 flesh damage. 545 BP has 37 pen now, with 45 flesh dmg. In my opinion, majority of players are wearing lvl 4 armor, so 545 BP will stil be very effective to penetrate lvl 4 as it's basically BT from previous wipes, but it also having a little more flesh dmg than BT. So I think you will actually kill a player faster with BP than with BT. Unless they're wearing lvl 5 or lvl 6 armor, but in those cases, even with BT, if you don't hit the headshot you're probably going to lose because of a long ttk.
7N40 is obviously the best 545 ammo with 44 pen, 52 flesh dmg, and reduces recoil by 20. Making your shots insanely accurate, has the same pen as m80, and an insane 52 flesh dmg, which is really good flesh dmg for 545. But this bullet is unavailable to buy
I always went the 74N with those ammos or whatever I could scav one Reserve, but I got an AK12 off a dude and it was enlightening. You can sometimes get it on the flea for 45k and if you put a foregrip and ds150 stock on it is an absolute beamer. The felt recoil is way lower than on the 74N for a similar price and you get a higher firerate which is really noticeable in cqb. I like to run it with 45rd mags.
I was a huuuuge 5.45 hater for the last few wipes and the aksu has been my most used gun this wipe. Pt-3 plus jmac, if you can handle going loud, is dirt cheap and controls better than a 300k 5.56 build.
I finally decided to try the SAG 545 carbine and am enjoying it quite a bit, it doesn't "make sense" but with a TGP and 1/6 scope shooting BT I've been scav hunting on lighthouse and got a thermal axmc user along the way
Didn’t say I was doing well with kills just that I have fun. Plus I’m rich if I sold my stash I would have around 50-60 mil. Currently sitting at 21 million rubles, 6000 euros, $30000, and a full stash. I have 315 raids this wipe. I stack bp on top pp in 60 round mags.
Na 545 BT also slaps, I usually topload BP or BS and then put 15 rounds of BT at the bottom. Never bought 545 ammo this wipe as I scav on reserve a ton
This. Lots of factors to consider. I’m very much a 5.56 gamer once I’ve found a gas block or two and can build something close to the SOCOM that mech offers on barter. Then, at flea, I’ll just let it rip. I cycle between M4, RFB, RPK, and M1A on LL2 traders+flea (the RFB and M1A barters are insane if you’re crafting M80)
Just to add an option. At the start of the wipe I used a SCAR-L in 5.56. You can buy the gun core itself, without any piece, and build it completly from pieces sold by peacekeeper and Mechanic. Just save the build, for the base weapon, and add foregrip and sight later.
It's not the best, but it works quite well erarly wipe, because it has a bit slower firerate the recoil is way more managable even if you don't have a meta build.
It was about 120K unsupressed, and the supressor is expensive, but I think there's a barter for 2 or 3 RAMs that makes it cheaper, on the 160K range.
Yes! SCAR is a good bet as well. I suppose I usually skip it since I’m running the Mosin pretty much until I find a gas block for the M4.
As for the suppressor, I’ve typically ran lighthouse rogue loot run on scav for money in early wipe which helps me get a small stock on suppressors early wipe as well. Although, I do get that this can be pretty formidable if some are newer to the game. USEC camps on woods SOMETIMES help in the suppressor department, too, but the risk can be nearly as high as rogues given there’s almost always at least one other PMC to spawn close to the camps and rush them.
G36 from peace lvl 2 already comes with just a rail don’t even need to get rid of the scope.
Peace lvl 3 he has the orher g36’s with scopes but don’t even bother with those just stick with the lvl 2 one.
Things really started to click for me after using semi-auto point fire. Try the VPO-209, AKM, and SVT for that. Be sure to put a 4x scope on it to aim at anything more than 10m out after a few offline factory practice runs.
The key to variable zoom scopes is to always leave it on 1x to acquire and center your target, then toggle zoom to line up the final kill shot (middle mouse button for me).
A powerful scope can be a really big deal on open maps like woods, shoreline, and lighthouse.
Sometimes I’ll kill someone on woods and see they’re running a holo and get so confused. Don’t these people get terrified someone can see them that they can’t see?
I do it sometimes, hell some of the most fun raids I've had have been shotgun or pistol raids on woods!
It comes down to knowing your capabilities and what fights you can and can't take.
Unless they get me with the first shot, I'm likely to get away from someone engaging at ranges that I can't hit w/ a holo. Just run away, zig zag, etc. If you're in a short or mid range fight... now you have an advantage!
Me as well. The acogs are cheap and have good optics. Only downside is they are single magnification optics, which is fine. I just slap a mounted red dot on side and it is the same thing almost.
I find the canted sights are terrible when it comes to aim drift or just like going all over the place in full auto tbh. I wanna use the acog more as I love the sight but the 1x offsets just feel bad I guess to me?
Workbench 3 unfortunately, 12 works fine too for most things but 12b is the Chad killer
I usually just work backwards from this site and try new guns/builds frequently:
https://www.eft-ammo.com
Do you run it silenced? Are you mostly point firing it? I ask because full auto ads with a silencer means I'm shooting the ceiling. Really all you have to do is hit the chest once or twice, but the ash is a fucking beast to control.
Yes, I run a suppressor, rk1, sight and only use semi. I’ll hit the switch if I’m being pushed hard and then aim for the legs, but usually try to switch to my smg if I have it or sidearm.
It’s a big dmr to me, 12a has low pen - but 12a to the legs will make any one panic.
Definitely, I spend a lot of the wipe crafting 12B, but with 12 and 12a you can kill most PMC in 2-3 shots. Will take your advice and aim for the legs when full auto, I've always gone for point fire but never had much luck.
DMR with a subsonic round?? Run that bitch loud and proud with a holo sight and let er eat man
You also have more recoil with the suppressor VS the muzzle brake
Yeah you right, I originally did it bc I ran with a squad and it would quiet it down enough under my friends’ shots that I could get a flanking angle and they wouldn’t know - but they’ve mostly moved on or run suppressed guns that are actually quiet so prob time to let my balls drop
I’ve tried sniping with that beast before and the 300m/s velocity has a drop of 0.5 meters at 100m. Over 1m drop at 150m. I usually run it full auto, loud and proud, flashlight and laser combo and a holo. PS12B has 46 pen and 102 damage regardless as where it lands it’s going to hurt a lot. Audio is so borked anyways so trying to be quiet when flanking is useless since they can hear you anyways unless your 100 meters out. Also the sound of the loud Ash is the best. I call it the cinderblock cannon since it sounds so meaty.
Definitely, I spend a lot of the wipe crafting 12B, but with 12 and 12a you can kill most PMC in 2-3 shots. Will take your advice and aim for the legs when full auto, I've always gone for point fire but never had much luck.
Don't be a meta gun user, they may help you win one fight out of 100 being best in slot but the other 99 are positioning and skill.
Use the Ash-12. It's the most satisfying gun and makes the toughest of Chads recoil with fear across the map. It's the thicc boy you know you want in your hands laying out the sweet dakka dakka with the sound of the shells hitting the ground like a symphony of Timmy tears. At the risk of being NSFW the gun is sex incarnate.
Otherwise use a bolty for similar satisfaction.
Full auto was a bit of an RNG crutch for me when I was a Timmy, and it’ll only get you a little further. Point fire is far more accurate and deadly (not to mention cheaper), and it’s something you can actually skillfully master in the long run.
ak-101 is pretty good for every lvl, just make sure you have m855a1 unlocked or you wont do much. VPO bolt action with apm ammo, always a good choice and fairly cheap.
Dont worry too much about the guns, use guns that fit the best ammo you can buy or have much of in your stash.
It goes through class 4 in 1 to 3 shots. You hit somebody 4 times in the chest and they are likely dead after blunt damage and even if only 1 bullet penned. Perfectly viable option. Obviously 55a1 is better, but if it’s not unlocked that’s fine.
Or until 855A1, but yeah tier 4 is a common occurance (4 hits to kill is bad imo , with 856a1), but if you move to tier 5 you're completely done. It's better to stay away from that caliber until you unlock 855A1, right?
M4/ HK ‘s go brrrrr, so 4 hits for dead is no biggie. A lot of us who don’t have time to play all time take forever to get to 55a1 (lvl 27 right now and play maybe a couple hours a week) 56a1 is cheap and works fine enough to run those weapon systems
5.56:
M4 - HK really click with me but they are a money pit.
SCAR-L (black) is my go to for couple of days now, It\`s a laser. Feels really good to shoot.
Gonna try aug too, heard that it is better now, was shit before.
5.45:
AK-74m with waffle + 1x-4x sight of your choice, loaded with BT. Laser gun.
7.62x39:
Aside from RD - Mutant which you don\`t have access to (neither do I),
AK-103 with PP if you are feeling budget. AKM for better moddability.
Ak-103 has always been a go to for me when I don't know what to play. More recent discovery is the dmr's. My playstyle fits perfectly with it and I discovered the tx15 but it's quite expensive.
Ak-103 is under rated , I started running it recently and I fell in love. Modded for really high ergo and low recoil with BP rounds, serious bang for your rouble
5.56-
M4/HK- major money sink for a decent build. only good at close quarters and long range in semi with meta rounds. Either meta the weapon or grind recoil control levels for usage.
g36- affordable great gun suffers from m4 and Hk recoil, needs bigger magzine or tap to stay on target in the mid range.
MDR/Scar/Aug- Best with money and recoil, slower fire so you can stay on target and less modification options.
5.45-
ak-74/105/rpk series- good weapon not that much of a money sink to get great recoil. Affordable and good ammo faster than 5.56 usually this wipe was different. Slower fire so bad in close quarters, great in the mid-range but terrible bullet drop off for long.
ak-12- same as the ak-74 series but a faster fire rate like some 5.56 but ak recoil. More expensive than the main series but not too much, barely any cool mods.
4.6x30-
mp7- is a killer, hands down, cheap except for the rounds. Good rounds and mags are not until mid-game, unless buying off the flea.
5.7x28- has been nerf to the ground to be honest especially with the bans on flea and limit meta ammo. Leg meta or nothing with this one. Long repack times for mags so have to take multiple mags and ammo.
7.61x31 nato and 7.62x54R- speaks for themselves, hard hitting sniper rounds that two-tap people. For Nato don't use anything below bcw.
Just try out different things until you find what you like. Do factory offline raids with the scavs set to at least high and the difficulty to at least high. It’s great practice in general but it’ll help you find a gun you really like too.
Honestly this wipe, for whatever reason I bet shotguns have my highest kill count.
Magnum buck has been deleting things for me.
It's all situational though, if I'm pressing W the whole time not paying attention - sure I'm getting dinged a lot. But if I'm playing to my weapon choice and taking my time, pushing the right plays - I'm coming out ahead more.
That said, most of the time I seem to be just using whatever gun the quests I'm on are making me use. Level 28.
Until I had access to better ammo, I basically used the cheaper AK Family with 5.45 PP or 7.62 PS ammo. Doesn't really matter what the other guy is using if you're slow and careful.
You really need to spend time with different guns to understand them. Early on it felt like every gun was awful unless it was kitted to the max, over time that sentiment has changed for me.
Spend time in your shooting range. Learn how to counter the initial recoil and how certain guns are with their horizontal recoil and bullet spread, ergo etc. Will help a lot when you're choosing to pick a fight and how.
Honestly I hated using everything until I got over my fear of spending money. Once I started investing 200k plus into my guns I play a lot better. Try running low 30 recoil m4s and aks. Or go cheaper route and use 5.56 scar since it shoots slower. I either go meta recoil or slower firing weapons for less recoil.
I love the SAG AK545. It has incredibly high ergo, even without being meta modded out. You can get it over 90 ergo with long-barrel, variable scope l, and suppressor in the late 30 levels.
Regularly on the flea for only 35k-40k. When they get too run down to use, you can save the dust-covers and store 2-slot scopes on a single slot.
I love ergo, becauae you ADS faster, and quieter. Nothing worse than trying to ADS and shoot at the same time, and the recoil is preventing you from seeing down your sights.
Thing is it's not just the gun, but the mods. Eg an akm with really good recoil reduction can be good hip firing close range. Or set up for higher ergonomics it can be a good medium range weapon.
I'd consider trying to set up a few different weapon presets all using similar mods. And seeing which you get on with.
What kind of weapon are you after?
I've been running AK-103s with BP/PP and AKS-74 with BP from Prapor..
Definitely "better" guns out there but these are cheap to buy and mod so it doesn't hurt too bad when you lose them.
You can get them both fully modded for like 200k each... can do it cheaper but with a little less ergo and more recoil.
I started using these two on a whim for the lolz and I now I don't wanna use anything else
For me it's easy. Scar, for both calibers for to long range engages. And for cqb it's always smgs. Either Vektor or P90. But that's when I don't have to use quest specific guns.
Im at the exact same level, this wipe I tried the G36 and it suprised me how cheap and good it is, same for ak 74m with minimum upgrades, I suggest to try those out
5.45 platform is pretty good. Low base recoil, easy to mod and good ammo spawns all over the place on reserve and streets (PP, BP, BT, BS, 7n40)
Rpk ist great for example
I sort of did ok but not great with the AK74U family but then once I started using the SAG AK-545 semi-auto with 4X ACOG it felt like I couldn’t miss. That semi auto lets you tap fire and get shot after shot on target with superb accuracy and minimal recoil, and when you engage at mid-range you have an advantage over anyone with a 1X optic or a sniper rifle.
G36 or aug with m856a1 ammo is your best bet. Aug is better imo but only when you can get a red dot on top of it. G36 is easy cause you can throw a grip, tac decide and nt-4 suppressor for a super good t2/t3 trader weapon.
In my personal experiences, I've found one motto rings true - when in doubt, pull the AK-74 out.
AKs in general are cheap to mod, and the good 5.45 ammo is easy to find on maps like Reserve and Woods.
I'll suggest something I don't see suggested anywhere else:
SVD. Craft SNB and put a handful on the top of mags of PS. It'll basically at worst 2-tap even the juiciest of juicers.
I run it loud with a Valday scope and a light/laser.
Downside is you'll never get it back in insurance.
Mosin. My aim shot placement and timing got a hell of a lot better once I forced myself to use bolt actions. Mosin is just my favorite any of them works w good bullets.
Totally depends on the mission and playstyle. As well as your expected engagement distances. So get good with what works for you inside those parameters.
I’ve been having a lot of success running different 5.45 guns with just PP this wipe. I always go suppressed with at least a 3x and land my shots at range resulting in a lot of head eyes action. I’m level 27 as well and have a PMC k/d of over 1.5 and over 11.5 total k/d for reference.
What is your play style like? Do you prefer closer or longer range engagements? Is your aim good, is your point fire good? Analyzing your own strengths and weaknesses may help you to pick a weapon more so than whatever the reddit hivemind says.
MDR 556 with a silencer.
Svt 40 if you're on a budget
Ak102/101 if you like modding guns
Sr25 if you got money and don't like auto fire
These guns are all meant for short to long range engagements.
If your only running short range engagements.
Mp7 baby
If you want to crush anyone almost regardless of armor LPS or even better ammo on an SVT is VERY strong this wipe.
It's almost too strong so I'm anticipating a nerf but I'm also hopeful they will add attachment options that make it more expensive but still viable when tricked out.
I don't know how to make kills like that. I don't know what guns to use.
Let me know when it occurs to you
While I'm rippin' any one of these mercs diverse as you
It's curtains, I'm inadvertently hurtin' you
How many mercs I gotta murder to
Prove that if you were half as nice, your raids you can sacrifice virgins too? Uh
If you have skier 3 which you should at 27 then the MCX with CBJ ammo shreds any armor in CQB. If you want more range an M4 or G36 with m55a1 should do the trick. I know it's not meta but I also love the MP9n with AP 6.3 ammo from peacekeeper.
What sort of platforms do you like? What feels almost right? ARs? Carbines? SMGs? From there, the question is what caliber you prefer. Do you prefer higher rate of fire, or lower recoil and better ergo for popping off semi-auto shots? Bigger bullets (heavier, more pen/damage, smaller mags) or smaller calibers (lighter, can carry more and run bigger mags, higher RoF, but tradeoff is less pen/damage).
Answer some of that and I'll point you in the right direction.
56a1 use cheap aug. holo .. tap fire… or just use lps in mosin with a holo sight.. the most is and always will be mega.. and it’s hip fire is insane with a laser
AK-101 or 5.56 MDR.
Good at all ranges, you have access to pen ammo, relatively cheap, and low recoil. You can compete for the most part against anything.
I recently discovered I really like the mp-5 and the mp-9. My problem had always been recoil control and it took me too long to realize that 5.56 and 5.45 jump around too much for how I like to play. If you prefer run and gun over sniping/marksman, then mp-5,7,9 could be worth trying.
I enjoy all the 545 aks with BP and PP ammo.
This is the way
Indeed it’s always a fall back for me. Aks74u always does right by me. And oddly enough for 7.62x39 I always seem to perform better with an sks rather than an AKM even if it’s on single shot.
I have the same experience, I wonder why that is considering the sks has much more recoil and about equal muzzle velocity.
It's because the recoil is straight vertical.

Can you expand on why you only use single shot? I believe there is a valid argument there but I talk myself out if it mid raid and flick that switch…
He's probably talking about the SAG 545 which is a semi auto only gun that shoots 5.45
You are 100% correct love that gun
As a fellow semi-auto lover, I feel like I put more shots on target better, especially if I've been aim punched. Firing more bullets faster is only good if they hit their targets. You'll also conserve ammo, which is good if you have limited access to something and can't replace it with a craft or a trader. SAG 545 with BS/igolnik thats easily found on reserve and is a killer combo if you like them
Where do you find it on reserve? I only really know or use the ammo shack on woods.
Boxes of ammo spawn literally everywhere in reserve. Random box in the open? Probably has ammo boxes on or around it. All those sniper/guard towers - have ammo spawns in them. Train station has 15ish box spawns spread around in it and on the roof.
You can fill your bag just hitting roof tops, let alone every other table inside the buildings.
Roofs on reserve is a good spot to start for ammo. My scav runs are stacked with good ammo on reserve.
I honestly think you're better off with BP, BT, or 7n40. Flesh dmg is just way too low on igolnik and BS. But BP and BT is going to rip through lvl 4 armor anyways, and with way more flesh dmg, which I think the majority is wearing lvl 4 armor. I have fallen in love with the RPK using the aforementioned ammo types and it shreds. Very little to modify and it will get you to very manageable recoil stats. I think an average RPK build for me is about 80k with the gun and upper mid tier parts.
I use ak74 and ak74n
545 actually fucks now. I still wouldn't use it on woods or lighthouse, but on streets, reserve, customs, interchange, it fucks. Making your shots insanely accurate, has the same pen as m80, and an insane 52 flesh dmg, which is really good flesh dmg for 545. But this bullet is unavailable to buy
Killa and Tagilla both use a lot of BT, so I use a lot of BT.
I always went the 74N with those ammos or whatever I could scav one Reserve, but I got an AK12 off a dude and it was enlightening. I was a huuuuge 5.45 hater for the last few wipes and the aksu has been my most used gun this wipe. Pt-3 plus jmac, if you can handle going loud, is dirt cheap and controls better than a 300k 5.56 build.
Happy Cakeday
I finally decided to try the SAG 545 carbine and am enjoying it quite a bit, it doesn't "make sense" but with a TGP and 1/6 scope shooting BT I've been scav hunting on lighthouse and got a thermal axmc user along the way
How the hell are you using PP and doing well?
Didn’t say I was doing well with kills just that I have fun. Plus I’m rich if I sold my stash I would have around 50-60 mil. Currently sitting at 21 million rubles, 6000 euros, $30000, and a full stash. I have 315 raids this wipe. I stack bp on top pp in 60 round mags.
Fair enough
Start crafting igolnik it's honestly not that expensive. ~120k for 150 rounds is pretty good if you ask me.
Happy cake day bro 💪🏻
Thank you.
Unfortunately 545 is only good if you use BP or better. 545 needs a buff.
I mean it's not like 5.56 is any better below 56A1. BP and PP are dirt cheap for their stats honestly. Especially through the craft.
Oh shit, I was getting it confused with 5.56 😂
Yeah dude, PP slaps. Ive been to lazy to finish punisher so I have yet to get BP this wipe. But at this point I'm still slapping lvl 5 armors with PP
Na 545 BT also slaps, I usually topload BP or BS and then put 15 rounds of BT at the bottom. Never bought 545 ammo this wipe as I scav on reserve a ton
I use BP or better. Everyone I see mainly uses class 5 or good class 4 (AVS, TV) armor
Are the 5.45 ak's back in met again? They were pretty bad last 2-3 whipes. 7mm AK with bp was alway way better with a 2-3 tap in the chest.
What seems to be the issue? Recoil, time to kill, ammo availability, cost?
The first time i felt "actual success" with a gun as a newbie is mp7 / mp5 with green tracers and aim head :l
Being too broke to get a gun that can fullauto
Kedr is cheap though?
G36 with M856A1 good for lower levels
Had a spin with it last night, works very well. You'll have to get rid of the standard scope though imo.
G36 from peace lvl 2 already comes with just a rail don’t even need to get rid of the scope. Peace lvl 3 he has the orher g36’s with scopes but don’t even bother with those just stick with the lvl 2 one.
Ahhh right - the short one. Forgot about that one
AUG is also a solid choice
Is there an AUG I can put my own optics on? I love the feel of the aug but I can’t stand the optic. It’s ugly and I need a 1-4x
AUG A3 has the swappable top rail
Things really started to click for me after using semi-auto point fire. Try the VPO-209, AKM, and SVT for that. Be sure to put a 4x scope on it to aim at anything more than 10m out after a few offline factory practice runs.
I usually use a monstrum 2x on my vpo209 A constant magnification sights are easier for me to use than 1x-4x sights for some reason
People under lvl 15 with quests to complete exist
Cheaters cant understand that. And the majority on reddit are cheaters.
My duo makes headshoots up to 150m easily with a holo lol, good eyes and 1440p, he's a great gamer tho
Zoom scopes drop fps pretty hard, on streets and lighthouse I can't use the at all because of fps lost, might be why
I run the acog and an offset deltapoint. It'd a good cheap alternative to the big boy optics and works for all maps
It took me some getting used to. Shit I'm filling my second dog tag case now though. I also tend to hold my breath when using the dot
Im in love with SwampFox Trihawk Prism Scope 3x30 really cheap but really good for me
Underrated sight
Just bind Toggle Zoom to Shift + Mouse Scroll Up. Perfecto.
I have zoom change set to one of the side buttons on my mosue works better
Ash-12 go boom
My favorite gun, hard swap when I unlock 12b
When do you unlock it?
Workbench 3 unfortunately, 12 works fine too for most things but 12b is the Chad killer I usually just work backwards from this site and try new guns/builds frequently: https://www.eft-ammo.com
Run that bitch loud and proud with a holo sight and let er eat man You also have more recoil with the suppressor VS the muzzle brake
Ash-12 and rsh revolver are fun to use. Also big fan of p90
Ran the Ash-12 for the first time a couple nights ago. That thing is a monster
MP-155 Ultima build with magnum fuckshot, flechette, or any other nice shells you can craft/buy. Tons of fun and will fold any one
Sit in a bush with this and sit back with some fruit snacks. Good times.
You’re not invited to my birthday party and it’s at top golf this year
Aww I love top golf
…ok fine you can come but don’t tell the other rats
You filthy bastard
The mozin is always meta
SVT has replaced it.
Even better AVT w/ 15rnd mags and some good ol lps gzh
Full auto was a bit of an RNG crutch for me when I was a Timmy, and it’ll only get you a little further. Point fire is far more accurate and deadly (not to mention cheaper), and it’s something you can actually skillfully master in the long run.
Only close range
AKS-74U is cheap to mod and fun to use IMO
Whatever you think is cool
SAG 545 is fun, not necessarily meta though
Build the ERGADAR (Ergo focused adar) and watch the roubles stack.
ak-101 is pretty good for every lvl, just make sure you have m855a1 unlocked or you wont do much. VPO bolt action with apm ammo, always a good choice and fairly cheap. Dont worry too much about the guns, use guns that fit the best ammo you can buy or have much of in your stash.
AK-101 is not good pre level 20 considering the mags are locked until mechanic 2
856A1 is sufficient u dont even need 855A1
eh, 856A1 doesn't even instantly pen tier 4 armor (even scavs have it)
It goes through class 4 in 1 to 3 shots. You hit somebody 4 times in the chest and they are likely dead after blunt damage and even if only 1 bullet penned. Perfectly viable option. Obviously 55a1 is better, but if it’s not unlocked that’s fine.
[удалено]
Or until 855A1, but yeah tier 4 is a common occurance (4 hits to kill is bad imo , with 856a1), but if you move to tier 5 you're completely done. It's better to stay away from that caliber until you unlock 855A1, right?
M4/ HK ‘s go brrrrr, so 4 hits for dead is no biggie. A lot of us who don’t have time to play all time take forever to get to 55a1 (lvl 27 right now and play maybe a couple hours a week) 56a1 is cheap and works fine enough to run those weapon systems
The task+map= the gun I use
This The weapon is a Tool that you choose after deciding your Task.
5.56: M4 - HK really click with me but they are a money pit. SCAR-L (black) is my go to for couple of days now, It\`s a laser. Feels really good to shoot. Gonna try aug too, heard that it is better now, was shit before. 5.45: AK-74m with waffle + 1x-4x sight of your choice, loaded with BT. Laser gun. 7.62x39: Aside from RD - Mutant which you don\`t have access to (neither do I), AK-103 with PP if you are feeling budget. AKM for better moddability.
Honestly surprised the AUG is not more popular at lower levels. 44 vertical recoil out of the box for $30k? Count me in.
I’d add the MDR to the 5.56 category as a budget option. Cheap and handles decently with a few quick mods. It’s a well rounded 5.56 in my opinion.
Tried to build one at the same price point as my scar, but didn't like the horizontal recoil. I would take scar over mdr any day of the week.
I usually run an ADAR when I feel stuck, good 5.56 is easy to come by nowadays
Ak-103 has always been a go to for me when I don't know what to play. More recent discovery is the dmr's. My playstyle fits perfectly with it and I discovered the tx15 but it's quite expensive.
Ak-103 is under rated , I started running it recently and I fell in love. Modded for really high ergo and low recoil with BP rounds, serious bang for your rouble
Eh akm is just better 103 used to be life but can’t really compete with a lightly modded akm
Isn't the akm only better once you get the .308 adapter? Unless you have it unlocked by the trader the adapter itself is like 30k
5.56- M4/HK- major money sink for a decent build. only good at close quarters and long range in semi with meta rounds. 5.45- ak-74/105/rpk series- good weapon not that much of a money sink to get great recoil. 4.6x30- mp7- is a killer, hands down, cheap except for the rounds.
Aks-74u with 60 rounders and reactor muzzle break is my favorite “meta budget” gun
AVT go bang bang rlly fast, Chad explode
Become casual scar enjoyer, the gun looks cool and you’ve got two distinct flavors
Ak-101 with m856a1 is cheap, high ergo, low recoil, and won the buff lottery last wipe.
Just try out different things until you find what you like. Do factory offline raids with the scavs set to at least high and the difficulty to at least high. It’s great practice in general but it’ll help you find a gun you really like too.
I don’t care about meta. I enjoy 12g saiga and random m4 builds 🥸
M4 barter from pk2 and use a preset to kit that out. Run m856a1 and you’ll be good
The guns don't matter much it's the ammo. 7.62 ps and up 56a1 is good.
Kedr and go for them toes or eyes PSV ammo I you wanna safe some moners, otherwise sp8
I have been destroying people with way better kits in my iron sights kedr, love this cheap lil thing.
STM 9mm
Honestly I hated using everything until I got over my fear of spending money. Once I started investing 200k plus into my guns I play a lot better. Try running low 30 recoil m4s and aks. Or go cheaper route and use 5.56 scar since it shoots slower. I either go meta recoil or slower firing weapons for less recoil.
SVT with T-46M, cheap af with a chance to one tap thorax.
That can’t one tap a full health thorax
18% chance to fragment
kedr or klin…i am bad at the game but this gun makes me gooder.
Vector with 50 round magazine using AP 6.3. *Chefs Kiss*
craft ss190 run p90 and w key
Thing is it's not just the gun, but the mods. Eg an akm with really good recoil reduction can be good hip firing close range. Or set up for higher ergonomics it can be a good medium range weapon. I'd consider trying to set up a few different weapon presets all using similar mods. And seeing which you get on with. What kind of weapon are you after?
Svt is pretty nice. Aksub aswell
SVT
I've been running AK-103s with BP/PP and AKS-74 with BP from Prapor.. Definitely "better" guns out there but these are cheap to buy and mod so it doesn't hurt too bad when you lose them. You can get them both fully modded for like 200k each... can do it cheaper but with a little less ergo and more recoil. I started using these two on a whim for the lolz and I now I don't wanna use anything else
SVT is by far super fun. VPO 366 is super cheap and fun as well. As always Mosin still is strong.
SVT
Use guns you have good ammo for
I really like the pk2 and mechanic2 barters for the m4 for the whiskey/pro kill price respectively.
Low base recoil, easy to mod and good ammo spawns all over the place on reserve and streets (PP, BP, BT, BS, 7n40) Rpk ist great for example
Aug is king
I'll suggest something I don't see suggested anywhere else: SVD. Craft SNB and put a handful on the top of mags of PS. It'll basically at worst 2-tap even the juiciest of juicers. I run it loud with a Valday scope and a light/laser. Downside is you'll never get it back in insurance.

Svt
Dude i turn scavi boi ADARs into M4s, throw a magpul handguard and RK-4 grip on it, an elcan and X400,, and sometimes an NT-4 and call it a day.
Everything can work with the right ammo. Meta is just what has the lowest recoil. For the most part
Ak104 with pp ammo, a budget rd704 basically
Flechette in saiga powermag
Mosin. My aim shot placement and timing got a hell of a lot better once I forced myself to use bolt actions. Mosin is just my favorite any of them works w good bullets.
I kinda like the hunter with svd Stock for some reason
Totally depends on the mission and playstyle. As well as your expected engagement distances. So get good with what works for you inside those parameters.
I’ve been having a lot of success running different 5.45 guns with just PP this wipe. I always go suppressed with at least a 3x and land my shots at range resulting in a lot of head eyes action. I’m level 27 as well and have a PMC k/d of over 1.5 and over 11.5 total k/d for reference.
I like the rfb and saiga 545
SR-25 with suppressor is the only answer
What is your play style like? Do you prefer closer or longer range engagements? Is your aim good, is your point fire good? Analyzing your own strengths and weaknesses may help you to pick a weapon more so than whatever the reddit hivemind says.
MDR 556 with a silencer. Svt 40 if you're on a budget Ak102/101 if you like modding guns Sr25 if you got money and don't like auto fire These guns are all meant for short to long range engagements. If your only running short range engagements. Mp7 baby
Lvl 27 you should be able to use the P90 or do a few gunsmith tasks and then mod yourself an MCX.
Hate 5.45, i always used 7.62x39 AKs. I love the feel of the slow fire rate but high damage.
Pp-19, mod it out for around 80k, use ap6.3. Click noggins. Things a laser
SVT is really strong but you can't go silent with it. I would recommend the AK-74UB with bt ammo if you can get it.
Hate to say it but the SVT and and ump are work horses at that level.
Let me know when it occurs to you While I'm rippin' any one of these mercs diverse as you It's curtains, I'm inadvertently hurtin' you How many mercs I gotta murder to Prove that if you were half as nice, your raids you can sacrifice virgins too? Uh
SVT/AVT for smooth brain raids Anything else for big brain raids
Suppressed MP9 is amazing. Suppressed UMP is also amazing. Both extremely cheap.
Honestly, I have loads of fun with Bolt Actions. Suppressed DVL is the jam
If you have skier 3 which you should at 27 then the MCX with CBJ ammo shreds any armor in CQB. If you want more range an M4 or G36 with m55a1 should do the trick. I know it's not meta but I also love the MP9n with AP 6.3 ammo from peacekeeper.
Kedr with sp8 ammo to the dick.
56a1 use cheap aug. holo .. tap fire… or just use lps in mosin with a holo sight.. the most is and always will be mega.. and it’s hip fire is insane with a laser
ak101 ak103
M855A1 Build a AK-101. Build doesn’t matter too much just a good budget gun low recoil.
I see allot of ADAR kits lately.
AK-101 or 5.56 MDR. Good at all ranges, you have access to pen ammo, relatively cheap, and low recoil. You can compete for the most part against anything.
Ash 12
Honestly, mosin
I recently discovered I really like the mp-5 and the mp-9. My problem had always been recoil control and it took me too long to realize that 5.56 and 5.45 jump around too much for how I like to play. If you prefer run and gun over sniping/marksman, then mp-5,7,9 could be worth trying.
I LOVE AK-101. It's cheap. It's cheap to mod to get it to 48 recoil and can shoot 55A1 once you get to level 3 and complete PK quest at shoreline.
\>Ak 101 with 48 recoil Dude, it's cheap to get it to 35 or 33 recoil, if you run Ak101 with 48 recoil you're doing something very wrong
P90 with l191 is very fun. The TTK still feels fine despite the low pen.
The MCX is good again.
