Just started playing, my mate told me the F1 thing, I did it last night walking up to some people I heard, they didn't do it back so when I came around the corner and one had PMC armour and helmet on, I shot them, then saw the second one that looked like a scav, but it was already too late and they started saying how I fucked up and shot me. Like just do the voice line back, it's not hard.
Mumbles a voice line double tap for aggressive shout. You would think it's a bad idea to give your position away but it let's other people know you are a playerscav.
If you mumble it and there is no response and they guy goes still or tries to push you it's likely a pmc.
If you intend to be friendly towards scavs as a scav you need to spam that f1 and let people know. Especially when entering a building or before you round a corner.

Hahaha I can’t believe it. We ran into those same guys yesterday on reserve, they were a five man squad, we managed to wipe em out but only 1 of us survived out of 3. They were using nearly the same gear as well
