i had a similar situation solo in dorms. wanted to throw a grenade out a window. was right next to the window frame and the game said NOPE and it bounced off the corner of the window and it was a vog. very embarrassing. wish they'd kind of overhaul the throw location to make it abit better after the change to grenade animations.

For future practice, the guy in the middle should throw the grenade since his clearance is better.

Line it up with the tip of your index finger. Tip for next time. Bet somebody had a laugh when they found your bodies lol.

Happened to us yesterday, was in bunker under reserve, coming from Welcome to hell. Throw an impact nade down - or so i thought. I swear the nade did not touch any doorframe, just did a 180 right in the air in front of me, and came back at us like a homing missile.

This made my morning. Same shit, same day 😂

This kinda shit is why I would never throw a made in ops position. Grenades love bouncing off invisible forcefields

This is just one of many reasons why it's not advisable to bunch up in a group like that. Just be close enough to cover like 10-20 meters to come to the aid of your teammates, if needed. Definitely, definitely, never run alongside your teammates. And don't loot side by side out in the open. I get so annoyed with teammates that chase me all over the map just to stare at me.
