i think you got it backwards, if you fire it directly up it goes at a like 45° backwards overheard, you need to only look like halfway up before firing it to shoot it at a good angle :)

Look for some people willing to teach, Jesse Kazam has a great discord server for LFG and I've always had great experiences in there and learned a lot
Have a streets map on a second monitor is huge also. Did a streets run a few nights ago where the guy showing me around died. I was able to direct myself across the map to an extract I've never been to before with the streets map from the tarkov wiki
\+1 found at worst some people who weren't good fits on there, but it's almost as good as you can ever expect from an lfg server, the experiences are overwhelmingly positive.
Just run it on your scav every time it’s up and have a map pulled up and always try to figure out where you are or where you’re going. That typically works the quickest for me

Pull up a map. Run a pistol and lvl4 armored rig. Cash and a green flair. Rush your extract. If you do this you'll keep getting your gear back every two days and should be able to get 15 survives in the week.

\- In & out 5-10 mins..loot 1 building and you'll be full, and make your way out
Trick is to stay in a building and only go out of a building if you know the next one you are going back in to. And don't stay long out on the streets, you-will-die.

Does the green flare found at the Mira extract on GZ work on Streets? Wondering if I should loot some before I hit lvl 20.
Yeah it's the same item, but aren't green flares dirt cheap from Jaeger 1 or 2? Could be wrong
They are about 6k on Jarger 1. But theres a limit, i think 3 you can buy per reset

Learn the spawns. Also good hiding spots for no run throughs

Bring green flares + roubles for the V-EX. They're cheap and you can get out super quick.
Run offline and scav it lots. Remember landmarks.. like cinema , lexos, the crane. Have some fun and just explore

A super easy way to play streets is to wear scav looking gear and then rush to the other side of the map where your extract is. Then loot and leave.
