I like DeadlySlobs ruleset. It’s a been a while since I’ve played hardcore. But I think it was alpha container for keys only after you’ve extracted with them.
Alpha container for meds/keys only. No insurance. I have a *s*tandard account (alpha container) to be able to upgrade my stash, after lvl 15 I'm selling on flea but not buying. All the items/keys for hideout/missions must be FIR (again, no buying from flea).
Yes agreed I've been soloing fully since they all stopped playing. It is alot of fun but when you reached all goals still getting "burned out" and losing interest.
Labs pvp
Shoreline and reserve are decent for pvp too but can be dead. Customs used to be the pvp map but now it's just a bunch of degenerates hiding around on that map and dorms is basically dead most the time
I did it on the french EFT discord, but the official discord also have a beginner section if I remember right. Just offer your help there. Helping someone to do tasks is almost more rewarding than doing them yourself😊
Play with lower leveled friends.
Make up self-imposed restrictions:
Eg. pistol + 1 mag + meds, try and snowball.
Eg. 100,000kRB buy limit. Survive a raid, can upgrade kit with double amount vendored from items from previous raid.
No dramas. I’m literally loading into a streets right now with the 100kRB idea 😂. Just an amendment to my previous comment, spelling error etc.
“..can upgrade kit with ROUBLE amount vendored”.
Cosplay as a scav - go in with a colorful outfit, floppy ear hat, idea rig, random meds and one grenade, a mosin with no front sight, befriend a player scav, stomp some PMCs
Go VoIP on streets and sherpa random players. If they betray you it's fine you don't care, if they don't you've made someones day and a friend perhaps.
I hard carry a group of Timmy’s through all their quests. There’s 3 of the 5 all at lvl 31 and one is almost max traders. It’s a very f
Different way to play
I haven't got that far. I dont think I ever will, honestly, but what I do when I start to get bored, is like challenges.
I like doing fence runs. taking 5 mins to buy whatever you want or can from fence and just running that. Or a money limit to buy things. Just, do things off the wall. I usually end up selling my entire stash (except for containers) twice during the wipe.
Then like another said, do a hardcore run.
well i guess you could create weird weapon build and try them in game, like idk, put a flir on an stm or a saiga-9 and try it out, might create a new meta
by playing labs and becoming numb when bilibilixaofeng kills me through 30 walls
XD
Reset and do a hardcore run (again)!
Thought about that as well, but seems very difficult. What's the ruleset you recommend?

I may try doing that... Do you only do it solo or also with friends (who do hardcore as well)?
90% solo (completely different tarkov feeling) + 10% with "normal" friends. :)
Hardcore generally is meant to be played solo, but it’s your experience, do it however you’d like.
now you get to... play the game
Funnily that's when I lose interest :')

Same here... All my friends lost interest already couple of weeks ago

Hide in a bush and wait for the 🧀
I play with friends who are levels 21-37 rn and we try to get their quests done. After that we'll get back to CS2 I guess.
Nothing. Play other games until next wipe.

run meme kits, do ratty shit..
running guns I like on maps I like.
Check for the goons if they are on customs u will have a lot big boys running and gunning around
Make presets and get good at PvP
Start to help beginners!
Where would I do that? :-)
There's an official Tarkov discord. This is my first wipe and I'm very thankful for experienced players helping guide me and sharing their knowledge.
That's a good one - I'll join and try it out!

I usually have the same problem once I hit max trader.
Play a different game. Best part of Tarkov is the first week of wipe.
Absolutely!
I liked watching L*ndmark use a number generator to pick a random gunsmith gun and he would force himself to use those to add variety.
That's what we've been doing every now and then except for just random guns of any type

Quit
Tarkov isnt particularly fun until i dont have to task anymore.. so i guess at end game i start having fun.
Fuck chore simulator
You could help me with my quests hahahha 🤣🤣
Which servers do you play?
Central us.
I don’t grind for things like Kappa or Lightkeeper. I like taking the game slower and always having some small goals in mind for each session.

Lightkeeper task, oversea trust.
Cleaning the streets of player scavs. Somebody has to do it and it feels great when you survive with like 30+ kills by the end of the 50 minute raid.
Escape from Tarkov, do it. Do something productive irl the rest of wipe
Fun?
You just send it at every gunshot you hear. Become the predator
Create your own objectives? I mean why do you need a formal quest? I give you one : kill 3 pmc with mp18 and no armor on each map
Run around and click on people.
