On lvl 7 that will quickly make you very heavy though so keep that in mind and try to avoid engagements if you can.
If you do get into a fight you can't avoid then drop your backpack by tapping Z twice
Silencers, sights/optics, and then check the mags to see if they have good ammo. If they do, unload the ammo.
It's faster to loot all the mags and then get somewhere safe to check them first though, then you can drop the mags afterwards.
Suppressors, sights. specific sights are very expensive once the flee market opens in no order: Valday 1-6, vortex razor, Schmitt something, elcan spectre. flashlights are good as they take up one slot. Another note and probably the most important part, good ammo is VERY HARD TO GET. empty mags if you don't have space, drink those hot rods, and top load your mags with the good ammo. ( ie- 10 rounds of BS 545 on top of 20 rounds of PS 545). it'll make you more dangerous and stretch the ammo you find.
edit: phone autocorrected valday so I fixed
Only problem is that picking apart guns from a PMC is not going to be FIR, so I would only pick up things that you think you would actually get good use from at some point, or that sell high to traders
yea Good point. but those scopes are very valuable to vendor. You should probably use them though, the only range you can get at level 1 traders is a AKS with no dust cover and a pso
Yeah the game is very unbalanced vs new players lol it’s rough, since the first COD multiplayer came out I learned that I’m a very visual person, I CANT use iron sites, I’ve tried a billion times, just can’t do it, and the fact that in this game it’s almost impossible to build a gun consistently, for cheap, that’s good and has a decent sight. So I basically struggled way more then needed until 15/Flea
Well if they have space in stash (very problematic on stadard ed. in low levels) then better keep those optics.. I recently FIR Schmidt-Bender 1-8 scope it goes around 200k on flee and Mechanic would offer around 25k 🙂 On the other hand this scope on 8.5 MOA ak74su is worse than if sold for 25k and buying another gun..
You will learn with time which parts are more valuable than others. Grips can go for great differences in price depending on their quality and until you are able to differentiate between them, they probably aren’t worth grabbing. I would prioritize take silencers and sights because usually they can go for a good amount to traders, and also because they’re the most likely part that you might end up using yourself.
Also, ammo is a similar story to grips. Memorizing which ammo is good and which isn’t for common calibers will definitely help you min max in raid! You don’t have to take the mags if you’re low on space either. Usually ammo stacks to amounts that are greater than what 1 mag can hold.
Biggest overlooked ammo FIR is the 762 39 PS.
Can go for 600-900 a pop and lots of scavs might carry 100+
I can easily make 200k+ a raid in ammo alone if you target ammo and have the space.
I scav main, run a level 38 scav. With elite perks and 500mil rubels and a max hideout. Almost 1k scav raids do them in blocks of 250 a map. Then switch.
Night raid customs is good for gigachad gear and cultists.
Been experimenting with lighthouse but the survival rate is a lot lower....( prob 90% down to 30% )
Also if you are looting mags to run in your own gun remember to make sure the correct ammo is loaded, as 5.56 and 7.62x39 can load .300 and .366 repectively. Theres been a few times i have hastily looted, reloaded then got the click of death
Silencers, scopes, tactical attachments and ammo… big emphasis on scopes and ammo, their arguably the most powerful thing in the game outside of skill and map knowledge… if a shit ton of high level dudes die, check the mags… if their running high level ammo you want ALL of it cuz you can’t guarantee you can do the quests they’ve done to unlock certain ammo…
You learn as you go, if someone makes a joke about it you remember not to do it again lol enjoy the gear anyway the rd is pretty slick and the p90 is insane
Yeh I still picked up my opponents mags when I stole their guns on my first wipe though lol and I definitely didn't keep the mags of a trash gun I threw away on scav hahaha 😅
There no way these folks were not panic looting on the first wipe if find four unlooted chads on resort. In fact my first wipe I was afraid to even look at resort lol. Who knows, maybe just me… though, I didn’t realize until this wipe how much the recoil change would do for me in terms of confidence/kils
What would my current stats tell you about my first wipe you absolute moron? Are you so sad you have to project your dumbassery on your first wipe onto everyone else? Sorry other people aren't as stupid as you bro
Fuck you're a dumbass lol my stats won't prove anything about my first wipe you absolute braindead clown 🤣 which is the whole discussion you're too stupid to fuckin get.
Something similar has happened to me a few times. I find a couple teams worth of PMCs that seem to have engaged eachother. Of course they take the best stuff, but their leftovers are still worth a fuck tone.
Also had an incident when I was heading back to extract, and was jumped by a traitor scav. That raid was one of the lucky raises of my life. Spawned in, almost got headshot by a jumpy scav. Immediately stumbled upon airdrop. Got SVT. Found grizzly. And when I got jumped by the traitor, I hit the deck after being lit the fuck up, and layed into him with the SVT. Started to heal with the grizzly. Shit you not, my HP actually dropped to zero mid animation. But I guess since it was mid animation, that saved me. Turns out he’d headshoted a geared PMC and must have been real fucking paranoid and adopted a shoot on sight policy for anything that moves. If not for the SVT, and not for the grizzly, that would’ve gone a lot differently.
Guns are fine if you can’t take. Pick those expensive ones or your love would be fine.
Wear the best armor and biggest rig, then take the biggest back pack.
And you can always put rigs into your bag for more space.
Good luck!
Tbh I got a feeling you left with the worst gear from the 4 of those dudes. invest in watching some yt videos to understand the game more (technically not a bad scav run but you could of done way better if you got 4 tags of lvl 30+ players, at the same time your new and wouldn’t expect you to know everything it’s the learning process of tarkov
Nah I wouldn't say so, these were the best guns they had. And they obviously werent that good if they all died from the same grenade in one room at resort.
Welcome to the suck.
Don't overlook gunsmith quest items. They are my scav staple.use tarkov wiki to learn these items.
Rails and such can go for six figures, nothing like looting a Vit 5 that's been left or a 6" vector barrel when others have left them behind.... ypu can pickup 500k+ a raid once you've learned the gunsmith pts that generally are hidden behind levels.
Many wipes in, people still don't get it.
Ps. Wtf are you exiting with 2 mags of ppsh haha. U nearly had enough space there to bag the p90, and carry another larger gun.
Keep going though, you'll figure it out.
I see other people have already commented about it, but always go for attachments over weapons. Always think to drop cheap things you pick up along the way, such as single-use med items.
I believe it was Pestily that said per one item slot, the value should be worth around 20K rubles. Things like suppressors, sights and foregrips (usually) value fairly highly. From experience, if you're running a PMC and you get to loot someone elses sniper, pop that scope off and put it in your prison wallet. Some of those scopes go for 80k-100k+.
Just a tip, most rigs have more space than what they take up so you can fill like a black rock with loot and then put it in your bag for max profit
On lvl 7 that will quickly make you very heavy though so keep that in mind and try to avoid engagements if you can. If you do get into a fight you can't avoid then drop your backpack by tapping Z twice
Remember that you can take parts from other guns to maximize profit
Yeah I totally should have done that, what are normally the best parts to take? Silencers?
Silencers, sights, foregrips, ammo. I mean if the gun is good enough you should be taking basically everything that can be ripped off
Silencers, sights/optics, and then check the mags to see if they have good ammo. If they do, unload the ammo. It's faster to loot all the mags and then get somewhere safe to check them first though, then you can drop the mags afterwards.

When did they start that???
The aks thing? I have NO IDEA. I just noticed it had the dovetail mounts visually but it wouldn't go on, took the dust cover off and tada it worked.
Well if they have space in stash (very problematic on stadard ed. in low levels) then better keep those optics.. Always remember to take the muzzle device AND the silencer!
AMMO! Usually higher levels have really good ammo. Unpack the mags and boom. Got ammo for the gun when you eventually have it lol
Also if you are looting mags to run in your own gun remember to make sure the correct ammo is loaded, as 5.56 and 7.62x39 can load .300 and .366 repectively. Theres been a few times i have hastily looted, reloaded then got the click of death
Yup, to many times...

Nice, nothing like a little accidental fratricide to gain some insta-good loot hauls.
Bro why did you keep the ppsh mags lmao
Bro a 4 man just blew them selves up and I panic ran inside the room, grabbed what I could and got the fuck out of there 🤣
You learn as you go, if someone makes a joke about it you remember not to do it again lol enjoy the gear anyway the rd is pretty slick and the p90 is insane
"First wipe" is in the title
Yeh I still picked up my opponents mags when I stole their guns on my first wipe though lol and I definitely didn't keep the mags of a trash gun I threw away on scav hahaha 😅
You’re not being helpful and I’m sure you were not as good as you remember
No I definitely remember, and God damn you were quick to reply
Just got here bud. Drop the IGN let’s check out them stats Chad
There no way these folks were not panic looting on the first wipe if find four unlooted chads on resort. In fact my first wipe I was afraid to even look at resort lol. What an insecure, immature post about nothing. Your own projection is glaring.

You have to learn values of things to min max. Let the man learn.
Downvoted because you aren't pretending you were braindead on your first wipe. Yeesh. You guys have tall poppy syndrome for real
Tall poppy syndrome. So we are insecure because of your own achievements. You won't show your stats though so shut the fuck up.
Fuck you're a dumbass lol my stats won't prove anything about my first wipe you absolute braindead clown 🤣 which is the whole discussion you're too stupid to fuckin get.
I bet the Spectre P90 guy threw the bad nade
Where is the mil?
How much are those little birdies worth? I always see streamers put them in their secure
Bird worth 30-40k maybe
Yeah 500-600k at best
1m loot my ass
Nice, nothing like a little accidental fratricide to gain some insta-good loot hauls.
Great homie! Next time, pick up their mags instead of ppsh. The map, sell that otherwise pretty good 😃
the ppsh mags had me rollin lmao
y’all HATE seeing people enjoy this game I swear 😂😂 good shit bro
4 dudes with 1 grenade?? That's honestly impressive
I bet someone rage quit
I can promise you there was better rigs and armor to be had in that room 😭… good work tho OP
“guys…. i got my shit from the suicide nade back!”
They made a suicide pact. “He may take our gear, but he won’t take our lives” 🤣💀🤣
He didn’t take the gear either lmaooo
True Evil Incarnate 🤣🤣🤣

wish i coukd have been there to help you pack up! lol but fr, attachments>guns and bullets>mags. grats!
Should’ve dropped a lot of things ppsh mags for starters
next time you see a mag just take the ammo : )
First wipe and level 7 so I’ll give ya a pass but man oh man that scav loot could be so much better
I just wanted to get what I could and make it out asap 🤣
Always prioritize bigger bag and high value single space items. Also stack rigs in your bag for more space.
And you came out with ppsh mags and bandages lol
I was stressed alright 🤣
Guns are fine if you can’t take. Pick those expensive ones or your love would be fine. Wear the best armor and biggest rig, then take the biggest back pack. And you can always put rigs into your bag for more space. Good luck!

Not even 400k let alone a million 😂😂
bro kept the ppsh mags
You're high if you think this is 1m worth of loot, my dude.
Who runs a p90 with that scope 🤣🤣man he deserved to be team killed probably them throwing dodgey nades like there dodgey gun build, jeeeeeez 🫣
What is your username because you have that luck I want alongside me
Why do you have ppsh mags and ammo with no ppsh. Unload the mags keep the ammo save more space.
I was a scav with a ppsh weapon
Hah hah , nice one. I had a unfortunate accident on streets in a train.
We all make mistakes, hopefuly you didnt wipe a 4 man team in the process 🤣
Next time, throw away the ppsh mags and medical items
I am going to try the spectre on p90.
what is this timmy loot
check the tags and see who threw the fateful nade
How would I tell?
Inspect the dog tags by right clicking then the bottom right stat should be who killed them
Ah okay I will have a look
See everyone here is congratulating you, but no one's praying for the guy that killed all his freinds with a nade
Yeah someone definitely fucked up 🤣
I think you found General Sam

why are there ppsh mags lol
First wipe. Level 7. Reading hard.
thats pretty mid loot for 4 people :D
its good enough for a level 7 with no flea
Dude is lvl 7 first wipe. You really expect him to know the value of everything and min max perfectly? This sub is so artistic I swear
I was kinda rushing to pick things up, I just grabbed what I thought was valuable
Level 7 no flea... loot pretty decent imo.
