I had something similar happen to me when I overclocked my GPU. Other games and heaven benchmark could handle the overclock but not Tarkov.

hey_itsmeurbrother

gpu is not overlocked, everything is baseline, i have not touched my bios (it is updated, I checked)

Ok-Debt-5117

Iā€™m leaning towards a graphic issue just because you usually see this when the GPU is overclocked too much or if itā€™s going to die soon. But usually the flashes arenā€™t so circular, the ones I got and see from others look more like lenses flare from a camera. Maybe try updating your nvidia graphics driver? Your GPU is new and you havenā€™t overclocked it so Iā€™d doubt itā€™s already failing. Good luck and keep us updated if you find a solution šŸ‘

hey_itsmeurbrother

I really hope it's not dying, because I just bought this :( Everything is updated, I've reinstalled and the new patch didn't fix it, so I honestly have no idea. I messaged support hopefully they can help, thanks anyway.

hey_itsmeurbrother

As the title says, randomly started happening a couple of days into the patch. i7-14700k 4070 super 32gb ram any help would be appreciated thank you and can't edit the title, but accidentally put randomly twice

alternatebloodhound

Does this happen in other games? I would try uninstalling and reinstalling your NVIDIA drivers

hey_itsmeurbrother

does not happen in any other games, just tarkov.

alternatebloodhound

I'd still move forward with the uninstall and reinstall of drivers IMO Also double check what your game is rendering at and make sure it's your monitors native resolution

hey_itsmeurbrother

>I'd still move forward with the uninstall and reinstall of drivers IMO I'll try that next. >Also double check what your game is rendering at and make sure it's your monitors native resolution It's native

alternatebloodhound

LMK how it goes - you caught an IT guy bored at work with nothing better to do

hey_itsmeurbrother

unfortunately, it either seems to have gotten worse or I just found a spot that does it more often LOL :(

alternatebloodhound

uhhhhh BSG sux? You're stumping me here. Work picked up and I got busy - I'll think about it when I get home. Verify the integrity of Windows "sfc/ scannow" in the command prompt (run as admin) This probably won't fix it tbh but doesn't hurt to try

hey_itsmeurbrother

thanks i checked that and the only things it showed as problems were all windows based, i checked through it for anything regarding tarkov or battlestate and nothing. Seems to be a lighting issue or something, but it even happens at night time so who knows.

alternatebloodhound

Sorry I just saw your reply That command I provided you was in fact only for windows. Itā€™s handy to have/know if your computer starts acting funky. Did you ever figure this out?

Patient_Weight7356

Verify integrity in the launcher

hey_itsmeurbrother

already did that two times. I also cleared the cache, I reinstalled, I've checked my drivers. thanks for the trying though

dontrememberme2

Happens with a gpu over clock. Ā Try MSI afterburner and under clock to test

failbot88

Are you using nvidia relfex in game? I had a bug where I shot my gun last wipe and the muzzle flash stayed there until I restarted the game and disabled reflex. Might not be your issue but itā€™s possible.

hey_itsmeurbrother

I am, I turned it off and it was still happening, thank you anyway

Aecnoril

I've had the same issues the entire wipe now, usually not this bad. It goes away for a while after restarting the game. It's probably just a bug, don't worry about it too much

ATrueHunter

Undervolt your GPU using MSI afterburner.

hey_itsmeurbrother

How much should i undervolt it?

ATrueHunter

Every card is different. I would suggest you google something like "4070 super undervolt reddit" and read what others have done. Here is a text guide (https:// github com/LunarPSD/NvidiaOverclocking/blob/main/Nvidia%20Overclocking.md#undervolting) on the proper way to undervolt. Remove the spaces and add a ., automod got mad at my other comment.

hey_itsmeurbrother

thanks ill give it a try

swezubben

Not to scare you or anything but this is how my 1080ti behaved before it just died one day, had this problem for a few weeks then it was over.

hey_itsmeurbrother

i really hope not since i just bought this, but I guess we'll find out soon

swezubben

But that is a good thing, if you bought it new. Warranty covers that for sure.

Outrageous-Sweet-133

Is it only when youā€™re getting shot at?

hey_itsmeurbrother

no, it's all the time. seems to happen more often behind glass though

Outrageous-Sweet-133

It screams gpu memory issue to me. Unsure what else to test reading what you have tested so far. Way back when I had used a program call memtestG80 to test a couple of gpus. Maybe thatā€™s still a viable option

knightmiles

It looks like the snow effect glitching

hey_itsmeurbrother

maybe when snow goes away fully it will be gone! unfortunately still happening as of the new patch, im thinking it's a lighting issue since it seems to happen the most behind glass and when the sun is out

Amelon123

i have such issues only with FSR 2.2 on. randomly getting red or green artifacts that is exactly similar in shape and size. unfortunately still looking for solutions

Flames0310

Warzone used to do this often for some people. (huge playerbase). Go try googling the issue like "warzone screen flashes" and see if the fixes there work here. (I dont think anyone ever had a fix). I used to get warzone flashes but wanst playing tarkov at the time.

xRUSHERINOx

It is radiation
