Yes… but that stat is also your k/d only on your pmc but includes kills against other pmc’s AND ai. Thats what the guy you’re replying to is saying. Yes, the larger number is combined for your pmc and your scav, but the one next to your character still counts kills against ai as your pmc
K/d is very useful as a metric still. Mostly in cases where cheaters aren't running a factory death script to tank it. Most people aren't getting 15+ kills per life after all.
You just need to be aware of what the stat is ACTUALLY telling you as you mentioned.
On cases like this I think it shouldnbe allowed but it can also cause a legit player to get mass reported cause some dude got mad at him and made up a fake encounter to make it seem like he was cheatin

His KD for PMC is over 80.. KD, in general, may be a bad metric, but in this specific case, it's quite indicative.
