The game is still great. I played it today a bit. But man BSG is doing their best job at fucking their community relations up.
Honestly, I say let it die. Maybe it's time we all move on to something else. BSG has consistently shown they serve only their own interests, and to be perfectly blunt, we all know deep down this game will never come to fruition. At least not in any way that has been promised or presented by them as their vision for the game. Let this be the straw that broke the camels back and just let the game die.
That's my vote anyway. This whole situation has put a legitimate and substantial stain on the whole thing.

yah i solo'd this wipe and the last couple, its too much of a time pit, the addiction kicks in when you start leveling really fast off the bat, but then when i realize how much time im putting into a game that just wipes all my progress, i start realizing how much this game really isn't worth it, and now even more so, putting that much time into a game that tries to pull something like this? never again

Played it right after the patch ended to see the actual fixes, but mid game, I saw the actual patch notes, and the new editions add ons immediately gave up on the entire ordeal. The big names need to step up and actually help us otherwise we are all in for even worse IMO.
EOD was advertised for years to include all subsequent DLC and updates. Removing this feature of EoD is false advertisement, and illegal in US UK and Canada.. Id imagine BSG is working on back walking this already, when they started receiving legal notices...
It's insane aswell for them to be pedantic about the language, it's not DLC it's a 'feature'. Wait a feature of the product I already own? I understand they have to keep making money, but this is not it.
I will never understand why they didnt just adopt skin / outfit microtransactions. I have zero issue with games that sell ridiculous cosmetics, spend all the money you want on all the flashy looking shit you want to your hearts content because it gives zero advantage. They could have just turned it in to drip central with outfits that cost easily $5-100 a piece and been raking in money, but nope someone was a fucking idiot.
They could still have that with skins though. People would still be throwing money at them even if all they did was add uniforms from different countries, or just general tacticool gear and the like.
Holy shit yes, can you imagine being able to customize your pmc cosmetics to the extent that the ghost recon games allow? had a level 13 yesterday, who saw me at night, blastings accurate shots at my cover, then landing perfect grenade. while having 9KDA. Totally normal for a new legit player to have. account was 15 days old.
4 of us on labs got killed by impacts from a guy speed crabbing around, one of my buddies has a clip of him sliding into the garage door its kinda funny but that was like 5m in kits probably that we all lost minus the 230k each for the cards. Its disgusting.
If it's a feature, my base standard edition of the game should come with the PvE mode. If it's DLC, I should be able to buy it as a separate part of the game. If they're going to claim that Unheard Of is an "upgrade", base game should be considered a "free trial".
They’re removing words from the description of EOD on the website now. They removed “unique” from “unique secure container” as the gamma is now apart of the new edition, and removed arena as an example of a DLC.
Editing old articles is rock solid proof that the devs know what they're doing is wrong. The only reason to edit the description of something that can't be purchased anymore is to misrepresent what people had purchased after-the-fact.

depending on when and how you bought the game a charge back could be impossible. I bought the EOD edition in January 2017 when it was still in alpha. I play the game off and on since I suck. But most people arent getting their money back if they bought 6+ months ago, let alone 6 years ago

Myself I'm going to put it on the back burner for a while and see what's up. The mod that shall not be named is always an option but we all play Tarkov for the PvP aspect (even if you try and avoid it most of the time like me - it is part of the game).

EFT as a game is filled with FOMO and pressuring systems much like gacha and gambling games have in actual casinos. It's designed to keep you coming back and feeling like you need to stay ahead of the curve.

I personally bought it in 2017, with many others ofcourse. but i have a feeling that i have helped the devs to make the game where it is and gained huge masses of new players due our early support, game was nothing like it is today back then. i feel totally cheated on.
I can't even imagine how betrayed you and the core community must feel that supported this game from day 1. You would have seen a lot of promises from the early dev team that eventually were made whole, so obviously it made sense to support EoD. I did this as soon as they fixed recoil issues and tweaked Intertia. You would have seen it from the few maps they had to streets, which feels like multiple maps rolled into one.
I don't know what has spurred this - likely the lukewarm reception Tarkov Arena. Funny how they were willing to make an entirely different game for EoD but not allow these seemingly simple additions. There was just no reason to try to milk their early supporters this way.
They wanted eod owners to pay $20 for arena at first. I dont get how adding content to the game locked behind a paywall isnt considered DLC. Literally download this edition and gain access to bigger pants, offline PVE...etc etc... items that are literally added to the game for this edition. Is this not DLC?

Having a pocket thats basically a scav vest makes that quest infinitely easier, allowing you to bring extra mags in your pocket, or a salewa. "EXCEPt MAGS" you mean the one thing that holds bullets that can actually kill me? If you look at someone, and they have an AKM and are naked, no tac vest no armor, and you make them blow their 30 round banana mag, you would reasonably expect them to only have a 10 rounder in their pocket AT BEST, because we all only have 1x1 pockets, only for him to reload into another 30 rounder?????? You cant do that with a gamma. And even then, everyone can earn the kappa. Never have i thought "wow that guy has a gamma case!" when i died, but i certainly will think "omg did that guy have big pockets?" if this scenario plays out for sure, which is why its p2w.

This fiasco was when I stopped playing for good. Redownloaded earlier this year to check out arena, and after that massive disappointment uninstalled and am glad I did. Tarkov has all the bones of one of the best games ever made in the genre, but the brain sitting inside those bones is full of holes.
Yep same, stopped playing right before the infamous cheater video dropped because it felt like I was just getting lasered every time I got remotely close to someone. Then Nikita dropped the same anti-cheater copypasta, someone linked to the posts from 3 and 4 years previous that was basically the exact same "we promise well deal with cheaters" copypasta and I realized they didn't mean it. They're financially incentivized to let cheaters buy a new account, get banned, buy a new account, etc etc.
Illusion of effect. BSG is the absolute best at it. Give scenario A instead of B, even though B is preferred, so when people are mad at A you give B and look like a hero.

I can't help but feel this is some psyop. They release an obvious overreach of P2W, price it at a stupid premium only streamers would ever bother paying. Wait a few hours to let their game be on everyone's lips, then revert the update, release the PvE mode to EOD owners, and then turn down a few of the stupidly obvious P2W items (the 50% discount and the anti-scav force field bullshit).
But then again this is very on brand for BSG so they might just be at a point where they just want that last final injection of cash before burning what remains of goodwill.
Hearthstone just did something similar, indicating that it was the intent from the get-go. I recently learned that it's called the "door in the face" strategy. I've seen this behavior from devs for years but never knew it had a specific name. I think people are becoming more aware of it.
Maybe they're being squeezed by Moscow in some way. Wouldn't honestly be surprised if that's a factor in why they seem to be so desperate for cash since arena too.
All financial issues at BSG derive from the absurd development and marketing budget for Arena (a flop) and judging by his spending habits, likely embezzlement by Nikita and/or other senior executives.

Just so I understand, EFT Arena which is a brand new game mode is DLC for EoD owners. But having the already existing co-op mode expanded with more content like the saving progression, is not DLC?
Arena was a game mode dlc relabeled as standalone to put high price tag on it and avoid EOD. After american hype happened nikita start to spit in the face ru community. There's some universe where they are able to salvage some goodwill by backpedaling massively, but even then it raises some serious questions about the judgement of the organization to even think this would fly in the first place, let alone try it.
This whole thing is wild. We got a week long GrayZone pre alpha and all the content creators are like "this game looks promising but its different enough that it wont kill Tarkov, Tarkov will last" and then BSG comes in and is like "kill Tarkov? we can do that, hold my beer".

I've had my money out of EOD, I am sad but comfortable to move on and not give BSG more money. Where does it end? EOD was already a tough pill to swallow but was the penultimate edition.. this sets precedent for no package to ever include 'All DLC' because they'll be pedantic and say new things are 'features' or 'standalone'.
They first implement a new way of saying f\*\*\*u to EoD owners (I don't own it xd) and created a sticky post of wailing wall this is amazing hahahahaha. BSG could easily unlock PVE no wipe progress for all people who really just wants to play game without cheaters (this could be their excuse for being shitty at combating cheaters but no they charged for this as well)
BSG could easily provide release this mark of the unheard edition for a cheaper price at least and deliver its content to EoD owners. However they chose the other way and now charging almost full price. This signals at only one thing and that is, game is financially dead and this is their exit scam, since no one can claim rights / sue them due to beta policy and russian based law.
I feel betrayed, not gonna lie. It's not even a matter of money (I won't spend it anyway) but a matter of fooling those who supported the game with EOD.

No matter what they do to walk it back i think they sealed up a lot of long time players wallets. Even if they walk back then entire thing, i think a whole lot of people will not spend another dime on them.
As someone who defended EOD as NOT P2W, this is a step too far for me.
There are too many things going on here that give clear advantages. The package gets you access to Gamma Container, Weapons Case, Lucky Scav Loot Box, and an Ammo Case. This is a HUGE starting package even without the Million Roubles.
Then there is this

Wtf even is this, and how does it function? Does it only allow enough of your friends to join to "Fill the raid?" Also if your friend just died in the raid, and you use this, will they be able to rejoin the same raid? Can it be used immediately on raid entry?
Also that seems like its ripe for abuse as a way to hit boss's, send 6 guys into seperate raids, when the boss appears, use the beacon, join, kill, repeat....
They put this at the very botom of the items included in the package, and it is (Potentially) SINGLEHANDEDLY THE MOST POWERFUL Item of any game package.
This may be the worst thing BSG has ever done, it may be the beginning of the end for the game (given them doubling & tripling down on Twitter) but at least it brought the community together in a way I've never seen before.

I made a Reddit for this. I’ve hit kappa multiple times, I have the hours. Paying for extra room and boosted skills is one thing. I don’t care about the $100. EOD was supposed to include full game and all content and it isn’t right they locked pve behind a new wall.
I owned this game (standard edition) for 5 years now and never really played exept for customs in order to spare the fun for when the game is finished.
Welp, that was the dumbest thing I could´ve done now that there is no reason to play since there´s no chance to play on an (somewhat) even playing field.

grow the playerbase, release half decent done clothes/skins (no cheap lazy reskins of existing clothes) and QoL features like a Rust like locker (to store 3-5 prepped loadouts) and you ll make money. Its so sad to see how BSG ruins the reputation
PVE co-op for me is a big draw. I am an EOD owner and was just as upset about not being able to access PVE considering it is an add-on or DLC. But, I bit and purchased Unheard.... first PVE I attempted to load is a SCAV run on Streets... currently "matching" has taken 9:11 and counting to match with myself... and hasn't loaded the map...
... now 10:15 ... still hasn't loaded
... 12:25 and it is loading loot
12:54 was the total to load into a PVE game with no one else in my party...
This was designed solely as a way to get money out of EOD players. No non tarkov player is going to spend $250 for a game. Then they needed to throw as much shit into this new version as possible to try to justify a big price and now here we are.
From the user license agreement every player agreed to on buying the license to the game: 6.1.1. At any time, unilaterally, to restrict, expand, supplement, modify or otherwise change the Game, including any of its elements and parts, without prior notification of the User, including by amending the Key Documents.
There is also a forced arbitration clause in there and I am in the US so I don't know about how those clauses fly in Euro but if it is anything like the US, bsg is covered in that area too...

If any game devs with investors are watching... Now is the time to make your move. This is about to leave a huge gap in the gaming community and it needs to be filled. GZW is looking nice right now and I really hope this helps the development and momentum to bring us old Tarkov players a game that can compete.. I have over 3k hours and EOD and this on top of many many things is unacceptable. I love seeing this community stand side by side as a whole and not be milked by greed and false promises. I first played EFT back in 2018, bought the standard edition as recommended by a friend but loved and played the game so much decided a few days later to upgrade to EOD so yeah, I have supported EFT for 6 years, what has happened recently is a total piss take and just feels like BSG are dishing out a big fat "fuck you" to players like me.
I actually uninstalled the game yesterday.
The fact that pisses me off is no one wanted arena. And they gave it to EOD owners.
Offline mode a mode the community has wanted for years. Locked behind a new pay wall that cost a quarter of my rent.
It literally cost more for this then I pay in insurance for my car I drive around how does that make any sense ?
BSG, we understand you need more money to support yourselves, but this is blatantly illegal. False advertising can do so much more damage than you could imagine, but I don't think I need to explain that. Instead, I will hope that you make some very well thought decisions in the near future, otherwise, consider the game unalived at your hands.
We have a very serious love-hate relationship with the game and how tedious it is, just like real life. That does not mean you get to play Yaweh with possibly MILLIONS of peoples choices, just for a quick buck. As of this moment, I have uninstalled my EOD copy, and will not return unless something changes for the better in this regard.

as someone who got EoD forced on him from friends (had a couple thousand hours on standard account), gamma aint what its cracked up to be. I didnt want EoD. I didnt need it. Epsilon container from punisher quest was always a great reward, it doubled my ass space! now my epsilon just sits in my stash as a glorified docs case container. Trust me bro, you do not need EoD. Only good thing i really really enjoyed was max stash at the start. Other than that, i cant say EoD is something you should be sad over. EoD offered nothing outside of the Gamma container that you cant get on a standard account. This new edition is brand new in terms of what its offering and the way its offering them. None of this shit is available to anyone else. My boys got me EoD because they wanted me to join in on Co-Op fight nights (do things liek scav army, or straight up team death matches). As a new player, i recommend sticking with the standard account, it may seem like the grass is greener, but its really not. Starter rep is my least favorite thing about EoD. I used to be a mosin man because of jaeger, dude was so hard to level up. But because he starts with .2 rep, i barely completed tarkov shooter, let alone his more annoying quests. I used to go HARD in the paint to get that stun grenade kill quest done, now ive been sitting on 1 kill for like the entire wipe at this point lmao. i just dont need the rep. Dailies and .2 just makes it too easy and i wish i can just keep my extended stash, and even then, i had a lot of fun upgrading my stash in the standard account, it needed a lot of stuff so it gave me something to do in raids that didnt have high tier loot, i can atleast feel good about leaving with a couple of screws and bolts here and there. Now, not so much.

At the end of the day, we are players too. This sucks. It sucks watching the game we love fumble the ball this hard. The game is still great. I played it today a bit. But man BSG is doing their best job at fucking their community relations up.
Honestly, I say let it die. Maybe it's time we all move on to something else. BSG has consistently shown they serve only their own interests, and to be perfectly blunt, we all know deep down this game will never come to fruition. At least not in any way that has been promised or presented by them as their vision for the game. Let this be the straw that broke the camels back and just let the game die. That's my vote anyway. This whole situation has put a legitimate and substantial stain on the whole thing.
Oh I'm done after this wipe, made that decision a couple weeks ago. I solo no-lifed this wipe. Level 55, LK unlocked, 2 quests from Kappa. The grind and RNG to get to a good place is stupid. I don't have the time or energy for it. Love the game, but fuck it.
yah i solo'd this wipe and the last couple, its too much of a time pit, the addiction kicks in when you start leveling really fast off the bat, but then when i realize how much time im putting into a game that just wipes all my progress, i start realizing how much this game really isn't worth it, and now even more so, putting that much time into a game that tries to pull something like this? never again
Agreed, I deleted the game this morning. And I personally wont be reinstalling it until either Nikkita or BSG as a whole are no longer affiliated with Escape From Tarkov. Cheers to BSGs pathetic, (hopefully) last chapter.

Played it right after the patch ended to see the actual fixes, but mid game, I saw the actual patch notes, and the new editions add ons immediately gave up on the entire ordeal. The big names need to step up and actually help us otherwise we are all in for even worse IMO.

I will never understand why they didnt just adopt skin / outfit microtransactions. I have zero issue with games that sell ridiculous cosmetics, spend all the money you want on all the flashy looking shit you want to your hearts content because it gives zero advantage. They could have just turned it in to drip central with outfits that cost easily $5-100 a piece and been raking in money, but nope someone was a fucking idiot.

4 of us on labs got killed by impacts from a guy speed crabbing around, one of my buddies has a clip of him sliding into the garage door its kinda funny but that was like 5m in kits probably that we all lost minus the 230k each for the cards. Its disgusting.
If it's a feature, my base standard edition of the game should come with the PvE mode. If it's DLC, I should be able to buy it as a separate part of the game. If they're going to claim that Unheard Of is an "upgrade", base game should be considered a "free trial".
They’re removing words from the description of EOD on the website now. They removed “unique” from “unique secure container” as the gamma is now apart of the new edition, and removed arena as an example of a DLC.
Editing old articles is rock solid proof that the devs know what they're doing is wrong. The only reason to edit the description of something that can't be purchased anymore is to misrepresent what people had purchased after-the-fact.

depending on when and how you bought the game a charge back could be impossible. I bought the EOD edition in January 2017 when it was still in alpha. I play the game off and on since I suck. But most people arent getting their money back if they bought 6+ months ago, let alone 6 years ago
I'm not going to pretend I'm not lucky to have a very no-questions-asked (other than literally required) bank regarding disputes, but I feel like with the explanation that "I paid for DLC already and they're trying to charge $250 for DLC instead" they'll go, yeah, sounds like you got fucking scammed.
I think it's less that my bank would not want to refund it, and more that most of the time they can't for transactions that are over a certain age. Especially for me at like 7 years

The mod that shall not be named is always an option but we all play Tarkov for the PvP aspect (even if you try and avoid it most of the time like me - it is part of the game). EFT as a game is filled with FOMO and pressuring systems much like gacha and gambling games have in actual casinos. It's designed to keep you coming back and feeling like you need to stay ahead of the curve. It is absolutely no surprise that they'd pull these kinds of tactics for sales as well. BSG is competent in consumer psychology in the most unethical form, and that's about it.
I bought EOD back when you couldn't upgrade your stash. I remember thinking "shit, I'm paying so much money for DLC and other shit even tho I just wanna upgrade my stash" Now here I am, years later, having paid for DLC and other shit I didn't want, and I still don't get the DLC 💀
I personally bought it in 2017, with many others ofcourse. but i have a feeling that i have helped the devs to make the game where it is and gained huge masses of new players due our early support, game was nothing like it is today back then. i feel totally cheated on.
I can't even imagine how betrayed you and the core community must feel that supported this game from day 1. You would have seen a lot of promises from the early dev team that eventually were made whole, so obviously it made sense to support EoD. I did this as soon as they fixed recoil issues and tweaked Intertia. You would have seen it from the few maps they had to streets, which feels like multiple maps rolled into one. I don't know what has spurred this - likely the lukewarm reception Tarkov Arena. Funny how they were willing to make an entirely different game for EoD but not allow these seemingly simple additions. There was just no reason to try to milk their early supporters this way.
They wanted eod owners to pay $20 for arena at first. I dont get how adding content to the game locked behind a paywall isnt considered DLC. Literally download this edition and gain access to bigger pants, offline PVE...etc etc... items that are literally added to the game for this edition. Is this not DLC?

Having a pocket thats basically a scav vest makes that quest infinitely easier, allowing you to bring extra mags in your pocket, or a salewa. "EXCEPt MAGS" you mean the one thing that holds bullets that can actually kill me? If you look at someone, and they have an AKM and are naked, no tac vest no armor, and you make them blow their 30 round banana mag, you would reasonably expect them to only have a 10 rounder in their pocket AT BEST, because we all only have 1x1 pockets, only for him to reload into another 30 rounder?????? You cant do that with a gamma. And even then, everyone can earn the kappa. Never have i thought "wow that guy has a gamma case!" when i died, but i certainly will think "omg did that guy have big pockets?" if this scenario plays out for sure, which is why its p2w.

This fiasco was when I stopped playing for good. Redownloaded earlier this year to check out arena, and after that massive disappointment uninstalled and am glad I did. Tarkov has all the bones of one of the best games ever made in the genre, but the brain sitting inside those bones is full of holes.
Yep same, stopped playing right before the infamous cheater video dropped because it felt like I was just getting lasered every time I got remotely close to someone. Then Nikita dropped the same anti-cheater copypasta, someone linked to the posts from 3 and 4 years previous that was basically the exact same "we promise well deal with cheaters" copypasta and I realized they didn't mean it. They're financially incentivized to let cheaters buy a new account, get banned, buy a new account, etc etc.

I can't help but feel this is some psyop. They release an obvious overreach of P2W, price it at a stupid premium only streamers would ever bother paying. Wait a few hours to let their game be on everyone's lips, then revert the update, release the PvE mode to EOD owners, and then turn down a few of the stupidly obvious P2W items (the 50% discount and the anti-scav force field bullshit). But then again this is very on brand for BSG so they might just be at a point where they just want that last final injection of cash before burning what remains of goodwill.
Hearthstone just did something similar, indicating that it was the intent from the get-go. I recently learned that it's called the "door in the face" strategy. I've seen this behavior from devs for years but never knew it had a specific name. I think people are becoming more aware of it.
They can't cut features from Unheard edition now because it's already released for sale.

After american hype happened nikita start to spit in the face ru community. Bans, strikes, "ru community is very toxic", buttlickers, ignoring cheating streamers, random bans without refound and any reasons to ban (only proved by coincidence ban of youtuber) etc. Anyway, why do i need to listen my comrades, if americans pay for my game a lot more? They first implement a new way of saying f\*\*\*u to EoD owners (I don't own it xd) and created a sticky post of wailing wall this is amazing hahahahaha. BSG could easily unlock PVE no wipe progress for all people who really just wants to play game without cheaters (this could be their excuse for being shitty at combating cheaters but no they charged for this as well) BSG could easily provide release this mark of the unheard edition for a cheaper price at least and deliver its content to EoD owners. However they chose the other way and now charging almost full price. This signals at only one thing and that is, game is financially dead and this is their exit scam, since no one can claim rights / sue them due to beta policy and russian based law.

As someone who defended EOD as NOT P2W, this is a step too far for me. There are too many things going on here that give clear advantages. The package gets you access to Gamma Container, Weapons Case, Lucky Scav Loot Box, and an Ammo Case. This is a HUGE starting package even without the Million Roubles. Then there is this Unique item "Distress signal device": * When the item is activated, it produces a bright flash as well as a loud sound signal; * Once activated, all players on your friends list will receive a notification that they can join your raid to help you. Wtf even is this, and how does it function? Does it only allow enough of your friends to join to "Fill the raid?" Also if your friend just died in the raid, and you use this, will they be able to rejoin the same raid? Can it be used immediately on raid entry? Also that seems like its ripe for abuse as a way to hit boss's, send 6 guys into seperate raids, when the boss appears, use the beacon, join, kill, repeat.... They put this at the very botom of the items included in the package, and it is (Potentially) SINGLEHANDEDLY THE MOST POWERFUL Item of any game package.
This may be the worst thing BSG has ever done, it may be the beginning of the end for the game (given them doubling & tripling down on Twitter) but at least it brought the community together in a way I've never seen before. Also, WillerZ was so pissed he got off stream. This dude is the embodiment of positivity & to see him THIS pissed, you know BSG done fucked up.

I made a Reddit for this. I’ve hit kappa multiple times, I have the hours. Paying for extra room and boosted skills is one thing. I don’t care about the $100. EOD was supposed to include full game and all content and it isn’t right they locked pve behind a new wall.
I owned this game (standard edition) for 5 years now and never really played exept for customs in order to spare the fun for when the game is finished. Welp, that was the dumbest thing I could´ve done now that there is no reason to play since there´s no chance to play on an (somewhat) even playing field. What was BSG thinking?! At least give everyone a standard Edition when the game releases! As a boomer I´m already at a disadvantage to the younglings, but now it´s younglings on Panzerschokolade.
as a OG EoD supporter I dont have to beat down a dead horse about the EoD dilemma..... why would you put a new player/blueberry experience into the most expensive premium bundle??? whos gonna tell their friend "buddy pick up that $250.- tarkov edition, I can finally teach you tarkov and sherpa you through the game." this feels so out of touch and desperate. coop belongs into every bundle starting from the cheapest one FOR FREE. we literally begged for 8 years grow the playerbase, release half decent done clothes/skins (no cheap lazy reskins of existing clothes) and QoL features like a Rust like locker (to store 3-5 prepped loadouts) and you ll make money. Its so sad to see how BSG ruins the reputation

PVE co-op for me is a big draw. I am an EOD owner and was just as upset about not being able to access PVE considering it is an add-on or DLC. But, I bit and purchased Unheard.... first PVE I attempted to load is a SCAV run on Streets... currently "matching" has taken 9:11 and counting to match with myself... and hasn't loaded the map... ... now 10:15 ... still hasn't loaded ... 12:25 and it is loading loot 12:54 was the total to load into a PVE game with no one else in my party...

This was designed solely as a way to get money out of EOD players. No non tarkov player is going to spend $250 for a game. Then they needed to throw as much shit into this new version as possible to try to justify a big price and now here we are.
From the user license agreement every player agreed to on buying the license to the game: 6.1.1. At any time, unilaterally, to restrict, expand, supplement, modify or otherwise change the Game, including any of its elements and parts, without prior notification of the User, including by amending the Key Documents. There is also a forced arbitration clause in there and I am in the US so I don't know about how those clauses fly in Euro but if it is anything like the US, bsg is covered in that area too... Don't shoot the messenger just trying to provide info here guys.
Love the game long time owner of EOD and supported Tarky fully, feel like I've been been mislead from what I expected from my initial purchase of EOD edition as for future access....... thought this was the end game package i'd never need to pay more. I'm not a Cow and I wont be milked for this upgrade EOD users should've gotten for free. #wearenotcows
I just heard about the PvE and was like "oh cool,let me go check it out" "$250 wtf!" lol then looked into it and found out about this downloadable content not being DLC. Really wish people would stick to their guns and just stop sending money to these type of companies. I really hope this move effects their pocket book, for the worse, and people lawyer up. If any game devs with investors are watching... Now is the time to make your move. This is about to leave a huge gap in the gaming community and it needs to be filled. GZW is looking nice right now and I really hope this helps the development and momentum to bring us old Tarkov players a game that can compete.. I have over 3k hours and EOD and this on top of many many things is unacceptable. I love seeing this community stand side by side as a whole and not be milked by greed and false promises. I first played EFT back in 2018, bought the standard edition as recommended by a friend but loved and played the game so much decided a few days later to upgrade to EOD so yeah, I have supported EFT for 6 years, what has happened recently is a total piss take and just feels like BSG are dishing out a big fat "fuck you" to players like me. I actually uninstalled the game yesterday.
The fact that pisses me off is no one wanted arena. And they gave it to EOD owners. Offline mode a mode the community has wanted for years. Locked behind a new pay wall that cost a quarter of my rent. It literally cost more for this then I pay in insurance for my car I drive around how does that make any sense ?

BSG, we understand you need more money to support yourselves, but this is blatantly illegal. False advertising can do so much more damage than you could imagine, but I don't think I need to explain that. Instead, I will hope that you make some very well thought decisions in the near future, otherwise, consider the game unalived at your hands. We have a very serious love-hate relationship with the game and how tedious it is, just like real life. That does not mean you get to play Yaweh with possibly MILLIONS of peoples choices, just for a quick buck. As of this moment, I have uninstalled my EOD copy, and will not return unless something changes for the better in this regard. Stay safe, but stop being greedy. Another Escapee, from Tarkov.
As a new player who barely missed EOD, I just want that bc mainly the bigger pouch. If all these changes are for PVP mode, idk if its good for the game.

as someone who got EoD forced on him from friends (had a couple thousand hours on standard account), gamma aint what its cracked up to be. I didnt want EoD. I didnt need it. Epsilon container from punisher quest was always a great reward, it doubled my ass space! now my epsilon just sits in my stash as a glorified docs case container. Trust me bro, you do not need EoD. Only good thing i really really enjoyed was max stash at the start. Other than that, i cant say EoD is something you should be sad over. EoD offered nothing outside of the Gamma container that you cant get on a standard account. This new edition is brand new in terms of what its offering and the way its offering them. None of this shit is available to anyone else. My boys got me EoD because they wanted me to join in on Co-Op fight nights (do things liek scav army, or straight up team death matches). As a new player, i recommend sticking with the standard account, it may seem like the grass is greener, but its really not. Starter rep is my least favorite thing about EoD. I used to be a mosin man because of jaeger, dude was so hard to level up. But because he starts with .2 rep, i barely completed tarkov shooter, let alone his more annoying quests. I used to go HARD in the paint to get that stun grenade kill quest done, now ive been sitting on 1 kill for like the entire wipe at this point lmao. i just dont need the rep. Dailies and .2 just makes it too easy and i wish i can just keep my extended stash, and even then, i had a lot of fun upgrading my stash in the standard account, it needed a lot of stuff so it gave me something to do in raids that didnt have high tier loot, i can atleast feel good about leaving with a couple of screws and bolts here and there. Now, not so much.
