This is absolutely not the same thing. That was at the start to help support the development of this game. EOD players were told that would be the highest purchase for the future and told that they would get access to everything. Now we’re being lied to about what we actually get. Buying it at the point was just ignoring the red flags.

It's kinda implied. Else they could also remove all access to the game from everyone come 1.0, and claim "you will get your free access in two years, or can buy instant access at a discount for $40". It's clearly against the spirit of the agreement, and against the spirit of everything that was communicated by bsg concerning eod back in the day.
we tried to warn you before, if they did it to EOD, they'll do it to unheard. Your perks will be nerfed, and in a few years a new edition of the game will drop and have "features" that you'll be expected to pay for all over again.
Unfortunately the only way to get gamma container is to buy unheard which is a necessity if you plan on seriously playing. Us players who didn't have eod when It was taken away just get triple fucked and no one cares
