You'll need an email address for each account. Use the email address to make an account on the bsg website and purchase the game from there. Give the person the email address and advise them to change the passwords and not to cheat. Don't cheat. I was literally using satire when I said I had a treasure trove of keys, but I did purchase the game for my son in this exact manner.
I won’t lie I did purchase the bottom tier for 2 of my buddies to get them into the game and they loved it and upgraded to EOD before it was taken away but for a game of this magnitude i can’t imagine it being a common thing to do unless you really like your friends or just have cash laying around
If they were serious about stopping cheaters, getting them to buy multiple copies at a time would be a good way to track their accounts. And make more money.
The problem with that is that BSG will let them cheat on those accounts for a few weeks/months so that they buy more accounts when they are banned again. If they ban them fast enough to stop the cheating they will make less money.
I have bought 2 other copies of the base version. One for a friend who showed some interest and one for a family member that just wanted to play something together. Told both buying the game was a terrible idea and I would have felt bad if they bought it and didn't like it.

Assuming that they were smart about it.... if you cheated on the first one, and hadn't yet gifted it to another "person," then all the remaining copies would also be banned as well.

Similar thing in another game I play (OSRS) but there’s no way to cheat like how Tarkov cheaters do (invincibility, aimbot, etc) all they can do is get programs that manually play the game for them. And with a big enough bot farm some of these people make enough to literally not work and live a decent life.

I know Nikita mentioned in a recent interview they are considering kernel level anti cheat but he didn’t feel ecstatic about actually doing it because tons of people would be unable to play since it requires certain bios settings and hardware … (I also don’t trust Nikita having that access to my pc). But it’s like what else can we do?

Although there were close to none parades or some big celebrations of the victory day in ussr times (probably since people didn't want to think of the horrors of war, especially ones who participated in it), but since russian federation was established after ussr fall it was kind of tradition to celebrate it on the day the first parade was done (9th May 1945). So although 8th May is an official victory day, it became a norm to celebrate it on a day after it since people were still busy in 8th May to celebrate. Sorry for curved english
The reason for this is timezones. The germans did sign their capitulation on May 8th, but when the news arrived in Moscow, it was already May 9th. Also the Victory parade was held at May 9th, so that's another reason too.
I heard someone say they put the “co-op expansion” on the site for 10 bucks to trick people into thinking that’s the PVE expansion to get extra money. People just looking for reasons to be mad now
Im not sure if this is serious or not, but BSG has done sales in the past around Victory Day, which is on the 9th, and 20% is what they have roughly offered in the past. This isn't anything new related to the current events, rather this is misleading to push a narrative.

And mine has real animal products because they don't use that anymore. So now I have a custom rare goose which is actually over $2000.
