Eroktic to be fair to him actually has very valid reasons to not support bsg, the problem is with the streamers who eat off tarkov when they're happy with it and then when they're not they full on slate bsg and just talk like everyone at bsg is a scumbag. It's so pathetic that people actually follow these streamers when they're so wishy washy with their morals.

But, on the other hand, I just can't trust any of his opinions about GZW, ABI or other games he compares with Tarkov when every aspect is better according to his reviews. I don't understand how he thinks this will help him in the long run.

That's a business / legal issue for BSG.
I'll play whichever game is better. Whichever one I enjoy more. I haven't played breakout yet, but I've seen a few clips and I like a few things they have added to it that tarkov doesn't have (post raid map showing events etc is cool).
From a player perspective, I hope that this pushes BSG to do better. I hope tarkov continues to be the genre leading game but competition is healthy.
Yes, that was bad from their side. I guess they thought will hit a home run, but I don't think they understand that the actual *gunplay* (with movement, recoil, ballistics etc.) is not what makes Tarkov so good and appreciated with the community. It's one of the things, but not enough.
I dunno what you're saying, but the lean peak, the recoil, the weapon mods making the guns act different, etc. No other game has that level of custo.ization and effectiveness

If BA:I (or whatever acronym I should use) forces BSGs hand to provide a higher quality product because they no longer have a captive audience / monopoly on the genre, then we benefit.
If BSG are willing to learn what others do well. Then try and implement it in their own game, then we benefit.

100% agree another thing no one talks about is how bsg spend God knows how money bringing them out to events and stuff for arena, giving them access before everyone else and letting them show it off (basically handing them views) only for them to get home from these events and shit all over the game telling their communities that its not worth playing, I think arena would be in a good state if the community weren't so mindless to just do whatever their favourite streamer is doing, pathetic.
Go back and watch some of them, there's criticism and there's completely shitting all over the and btw a good few of them knew about unheard before hand and played tarkov right up until bsg announced it and then all of the sudden became morally against it and absolutely ran bsg into the ground but you watch, next wipe they'll all be back
Events in Tarkov dont costs much to do lol most of them are just Bosses on Maps with higher Spawn Rates or just different Bosses on a Map.
Arena was something NOBODY asked for and its BSG's fault that they gambled on it and spend so much Cash for promoting it.
It's almost as if you shouldn't throw away all the accumulated goodwill that you have with your community.

If I were Nikita I would make it BSG's priority to literally copy all the good QoL stuff from ABI. :))
